The best project management software I've used so far!
Avantages
Ftrack is very powerful and highly customizable which makes it an amazing tool for project management. What stood out for me is the fact that you can either see all of your project in 1 view or select which projet(s) you want to see and manage. Additionally, their reviewing tool, for both images and motion, is very efficient. It was built for collaboration in mind and you can tell!
Inconvénients
Because of it's customization capabilities, there's a bit of a learning curve to learn your way around the software. Additionally, the notification center could be improved. While it works and do the job fine, it's not as fluid as other internal communication tool that I'm using. A desktop app would be an amazing addition.

Easy to use product, very clear UI on project management.

Sometimes the product feels too complex and I havent figure it out yet

An animation feedback machine
Overall positive. Would like clearer options for managing files though.
Avantages
The taskboard view is useful for keeping track of all my shots. Its easy enough to navigate. Filters are helpful.
Inconvénients
Hard to remove files uploaded in error/ edit the names of files in software. This might just be an admin/ user privilege issue though.

Ftrack review
Very good, although i beleive Shotgun is more suiterd to the 3D pipeline
Avantages
Very easy to use once you get to know your way around
Inconvénients
I feel that it is overall complete, although sometimes i do not rec notifications

Avantages
I think it's very easy to use, it's presentation is easy on the eye and makes it look simple. It works well with the software i am using and makes it easy to track my shots.
Inconvénients
Maybe the thumbnails, i wish when the shots render through ftrack it automatically uploads a thumbnail? but maybe thats not possible with how we use it.

Ftrack: Simpler version of Shotgun with some limitations.
Overall Ftrack is a breezy alternative for VFX project management with a few caveats.
Avantages
The ease of use and the ease of setting up and assigning tasks to team members. The ability of team members to easily log their time per tasks is great.
Inconvénients
Adding tasks is unintuitive compared to other management software that I have used. There are multiple ways of accessing projects which is sometimes confusing for casual users.
