Good, but expensive

Worked with them for 5 years, love all the features, but with the economy the way it is, had to switch

Avantages

Very complete with so many features, marketing and reports.

Inconvénients

Charger are very, very high.. around $350/month plus the 3.5% and some flat fee cents on top of it

Gregory O - Superb Customer Service Experience

I want to sincerely thank Booker for the excellent service provided by Gregory O, during several recent requests we made; He has gone above and beyond, even supplying me with a level of data and assistance I was previously told would not be possible to get. He did it in an extremely expeditious and efficient manner and again affirms our confidence that Booker is the leading platform in our industry. Thanks again for providing such a great business tool and we look forward to using booker for many years to come.

Avantages

The "all in one nature" of the platform but also the ability to have an online store that links to our actual inventory and pricing levels in real time. The confirmation email for appointments are a great asset to in terms of revenue loss prevention and saves time for our staff, not to mention our clients love the convenience. The pre-authorization of credit cards is a great function again for loss prevention.

Inconvénients

1, There have been times recently were the downtime or stability (slowness) of the platform has not been acceptable.
2, The ip lock function only works with v4 ip addresses (most ISP's are now using v6's rendering the function useless unless you pay extra for static IP's.

Excessive down time and Booker does not listen to customers

Lack of responsiveness to customer inquiries and valid concerns with downtime and non-functioning software. Most recently their denial of my subscription cancellation. They do not send a renewal notice or offer a reasonable cancellation window. These are very antiquated, predatory subscription practices.

Avantages

Booker originally seemed to have a robust suite of functionality including marketing.

Inconvénients

Booker has such excessive downtime that has cost my small business revenue (inability to book clients!) and poor client experience trying to book online. Because of this, I am switching to another platform and Booker will not let me cancel my subscription. Talk about antiquated, predatory subscription practices!

Keeping everyone on the same page

The survey section is really helpful to hear from clients on what we can add or change to make their experience the best it can be. The flexibility of having booker app on our phone lets us have everything we need at all times.

Avantages

Booker is so great. Everyone of my staff has their own logins to look at their schedules at any time. My accounting department (that is in a different building) has access to check balances....my HR department can also access it to do payroll....making it easy for us all to stay on the same page of the business. At any time my GM can look at the dash board to see where we stand any any given time of the month. The clients love it because they can make appointments on line and they love the text reminders for their appointments. As the director I want to make sure clients are happy...I get feed back from surveys that let us know if we are doing things right or if we need to improve on things. Bookers Customer service used to be a little frustrating but I feel like they have really stepped it up lately. Thanks Booker for helping us do our job in a very efficient way!

Inconvénients

I wish we could add specials or notes to certain days...their really isn’t any place for that. We end up putting notes in someone’s schedule so it shows up on the day...it works but not ideal.

Great for scheduling and easy on the eyes UI

Avantages

I loved the big calendar view because it made our jobs that much easier. You didn't have to go digging for information.

Inconvénients

Some of the features I didn't even know we had were hidden and sometimes it would freeze up or give issues during payment but customer support was always quick to resolve.

Do not use mind body/booker save yourself the headache

tons of hours and time spent on hold communicating glitches. RIGHT now we have a full day of clients, we can't see our schedule we can't book people into appts, we can't close them out. I can't even place my Purchase orders. All because of a "glitch they are working on"

Avantages

I thought we would have greater ease at relating to our clients via all their options, messenger [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] etc

Inconvénients

WORST software ever. We have a saying at my company that says oh its just booker its a glitch. I even have to train people to be prepared for this. If you are taking almost $600 a month get it together.

Booker for Spa and Solon

My hotel has been using Booker since 2012, the software has evolved a lot since then. Our spa receptionist like the fact that it is so user friendly for all Spa Booking peruses ,appointment scheduling to payment processing. I use the reporting feature for financial reporting and Payroll processing. The Spa Manager loves the recently added Marketing feature as well.

Avantages

This software is very easy to use for everyone who is running a Spa and Salon. Our spa receptionist like the fact that it is so user friendly for all Spa Booking purposes ,appointment scheduling to payment processing
This software offers a lot of reports to accommodate from statistics to financial reporting.

Inconvénients

We had some issues with customer service in the beginning, but it has gotten much better now.

Busy massage center / User since 2011 / 12 therapist columns using 5 rooms = giant jig-saw...

Increased productivity and sales!

Avantages

Ease of booking appointments in-house and on-line / Ability to customize emails / POS integration / History

Inconvénients

(1) Elimination of the "we want you back" email that went out to those who haven't been in (Frederick is way to expensive for us!); and, (2) Elimination of the quick log-in codes, we are busy with multiple users and now there's no way to be sure who actually completed a transaction. **These were some of our most favorite features that we no longer have. We are very disappointed.** ALSO, it would be nice to have a dedicated support rep to work with, who knows how we use Booker, helps us to optimize, etc.

Booker is very helpful in.our daily operation

It helps me.yo check the booking anytime anywhere

Avantages

It is very accessible, our therapist can check their bookings even at home. Booker is also easy to use, our new staff can easily learn the basic things such as how to make an appointment and how to take payments

Inconvénients

What makes me disappointed to the software is when the process sometimes is slow and hanging especially during there are so many guests paying and making appointment. I find the system a bit slow that we sometimes need to ask the guests to wait for a while because we need to update the bill, and print it out.

For what I used it for it works fine.

being able to make appointments and keep track. Cashing out, checking in and out of the spa daily, filing reports and keeping track of daily weekly and monthly flow.

Avantages

Pretty simple to make appointments and do reports. Customer support is always good. Overall quality is good.

Inconvénients

It does breakdown sometimes but they do fix it as soon as they can. I can't judge on features because I really don't use them. I just use the basics.

Spa Booker

Overall allows for fast & efficient booking of multiple spa treatments from different therapists. Does not allow double or over booking. Like the software.

Avantages

Once you understand it, allows straightforward booking of treatments and accounts for a lot of variables.

Inconvénients

Payment programs are not very "forgiving" A lot of steps to fix billing errors. System does not allow adjustment to credit card charges after invoice is settled.

Also it randomly assignes treatment rooms. Would be better served if it recognizes therapists and use of the same room.

Overall frustrated

The amount of glitches, lost guest notes, lost time and frustration makes us want to leave on almost a daily basis.

Inconvénients

Glitches, too many steps to do something, wastes a lot of time. Especially for the price, its one of the more expensives softwares and it apparently does NOT equal better.

Best booking software out there

I done a very throughout research before finally made the decision to go with Booker. It's been an entire year since my company started using Booker. Our revenue has increase by 100% in one year, a large part has to do with Booker. The online gift card purchase is also a breeze. I'm pleased to announce in 2016 my company has sold over $10,000 in Gift Cards! That is 10 times from the prior year!

Some random lag and downtime. Customer Check-In and Check-Out process could be more initiative.

Moderate funcation try

Avantages

It is easy to navigate, for all levels from intermediate to advanced. From a management stand point the reports are key

Inconvénients

The app is very glitchy and many errors occure with the booking process. Appointments often dissapear or never show up

Very User Friendly - but lot's of service interruptions

Booker offers great features and is very user friendly. However, our experience lately has been one of great challenge. There are many service interruptions, delays, and overall slow performance.

My experience

Overall I'm pretty happy. It was very easy to learn, the step-by-step guidance is really helpful, and I like the way everything is laid out. the design is nice and makes it very easy to use.

Avantages

Everything is laid out pretty well, the system is overall easy to navigate. The step-by-step guidances are VERY nice. A lot of tools available too!

Inconvénients

Sometimes there's issues with linking packages together to get the packaged price. I have also had problems with booking an appointment on the wrong day because the system backed up to a previous tab.

Booker Customer Review

Booker is great, it's user friendly, easy to train on, offers great customer service and training tools. The only issue is the system errors, Booker frequently goes down or freezes making it complicated to book, check in guests, and process check out.

Basic for the price

We started the business with Booker, but as the business grew we needed a software that would grow with us and ultimately decided Booker was not that software.

Avantages

Booker was customizable and had a simple interface. Easy to navigate.

Inconvénients

There were glitches that led to errors in bookings, etcs. Customer service and features were limited.

Booker review

I use booker at milk + honey spa, i am a concierge. My biggest issue with booker is the auto population function. It always changes the box in which i try to input information and it makes the functions of booker more complicated than it has to be. would be great if it would do this.

It gets the basic job done.

It's really easy to get pat roll done cuz it keeps track for you.

Avantages

It's rather user friendly. If you can think logically what to do next the system guides you through itself.

Inconvénients

I want it to have more detailed features. For ex. Txt message reminders customizable for each client that gets booked as they are booked.

With all the information it seems pulling together simple reports it's not as easy as it should be although customer service helps out quickly they usually cannot solve my problem

Booker review

I really like booker but it doesnt do reminder texts 24 hours before their appointment and some reason our service providers get all texts instead just their service. This annoys more staff because their phone blows up with text messages that aren't their service.

Avantages

I like that I can have as many people I want on my books and its easy to use

Inconvénients

No reminder txts
And text message go for services go to all employees not just the one intended

Very easy to use, reliable, and trustworthy.

Avantages

It's very easy, user friendly. If you are a beginner in using computer software programs it is extremely easy to catch on and be comfortable with the program.

Inconvénients

When systems are slow it usually takes a while to come back up, which can affect business and callers calling in to schedule.
