Freshsales Review
Avantages
It is a great first CRM when you are a small company just starting your business and growing your database.
I started using it in my previous role in a very small startup and it did the job for a while, the knowledge base management is great and quite intuitive. Would definitely recommend for a small budget and small startup.
Inconvénients
Some of the features were very tricky, the layout is not very intuitive and it is quite hard to see all your information.
Once again, if you try to scale or actually do forecast/sales pipeline review, I'm not sure it is the best tool

Freshsales. Fresh start.
This was our company's first CRM. We still enjoy Freshsales, but often find quirks and areas for improvement that we sent to our representative. There have been advancements since we started with Fresh, but would love to know more insight on what's to come in the next year and three-year plan, so we can prepare and know how the system will improve over time.
Avantages
Up front, nothing seems overcomplicated. It has the essentials we need to track business on the sales side. Those who tend to support tickets are quite helpful. Happy with the timely, honest support we receive!
Inconvénients
As with any system, there are areas of improvement, wishes for changes, and improvements we would love to see implemented. I wish there were more transparent check-ins telling us upcoming changes that are being worked on in the background. I also wish we were notified when updates were going to run so that could better prepare when "Blackout" periods are going to take place during the workday.

Review for Freshsales
Too complicated for user. Not enough automation for sales activity. Need more features to ease productivity data and a lot of manual work is needed. Will need to improvise on how we are going to measure sales owner strength (sales visits, calls and revenue) to make it simpler to be measure. But other than that, it was good in terms of amending settings and agent that are very supportive to take up any issue and problem arise.

A bland CRM
With Freshworks, there are always bugs in the system to fix and improvements to make.
Avantages
Features are mostly standard and nothing outstanding
Inconvénients
Support engineers can take months if not a few years to fix the issue.

Freshsales is a GREAT sales CRM for under $10M in revenue
I have built startup sales teams, and I would have chosen this over all of the other startup-class CRMs out there. It may not last forever, but in my opinion it will last many until they are closing $10+ in annual revenue.
Avantages
You can manage deals, deal stages, forecasting, and a lot more extremely well within this tool. It is surprisingly strong as a standard sales CRM and will meet most, if not all needs, for a small to mid-size company. It is a stronger offering that many that target this same segment.
Inconvénients
There is a lack of global integrations that make life easier, and as needs get more complex in reporting, deal structure, etc. Also, in the prospecting stages, it simply doesn't do well enough in tracking (which may again be an issue of integration, but is problematic). Leads are better tracked in another tool.

Missing things rivals do well
Not great. Customer service is excellent, though!
Things I think should be basic (or I used in Pipedrive) just don't exist or don't work in Freshsales.
Avantages
What it has is pretty easy to use, and finally with the addition of timeline view, getting different views is good. Creating reports is not easy, although very powerful.
Inconvénients
Mail integration is pointless for me. If set to 'auto', all emails from a client appear on all of their deals, rather than having intelligent algorithms that are deal-specific. Also, no search function on email page immediately makes have email sync pointless for me.
Sync is slow. I can add a deal, or a contact, but often won't appear in searches for a long time, so I can't start linking emails or creating new deals.

Great basic CRM but needs to evolve
Good basic tool to quickly get started but recently not many new features and lacks some Enterprise features
Avantages
Ease of use, quick implementation. Cloud based and good mobile device support
Inconvénients
Does not integrate well with other Software. Impossible to get out the data in a good and automated way into corporate reporting (e. g. Qlik Sense)

A comprehensive and very effective Marketing tool - not more
We have used it to conduct marketing campaigns and measure customer responses and interactions. It has proven to be a very effective online marketing tool with automations. At the same time, it is not for sales-intensive approaches and complex business models that do not have linear processes.
Avantages
1. Marketing automation helped a lot when executing a campaign with multiple scenarios and steps. Excellent capability.
2. The Landing page capability is very good, allowing you to integrate interaction data directly without going for website add-ons or plugins. It has good quality templates as well
Inconvénients
1. The sales management process is weak and does not offer you the capability to distinguish potential customers/leads that can be revisited. It is more focused on qualified cases/deals that can be won in a series of steps.
2. The email interaction (at least with Gmail) does not work. Most of the relevant emails appeared late in the CRM. You have to refresh every x mins manually to get the latest emails, which does not help. You end up going with the Gmail front-end in order to avoid missing incoming messages.

Could be so much better, sadly a waste of time
Frustrating and disappointing. It has potential, but there is a lost leader there somewhere..
Avantages
Easy set up, intuitive interface, good gmail integration, decent price. I once called them for help on a saturday and someone answered and was very helpful. (read our cons however)
Inconvénients
Customer service and account support are terrible- email and ticket support queries never get resolved. Horribly time consuming, contacted by 4-5 different representatives, each one not familiar with the problem. We tried their trial twice as we thought giving it a second chance might have a different outcome. Wrong. The integration with Freshcaller didn't work and they couldnt fix it. Frustrating experience. We decided to go back to the simplest CRM's possible with the best customer service for half this price.

Good CRM - tracks user engagement on websites/apps, but expensive to use a webform & locked in...
Freshsales is a solid CRM - not too flashy or the most feature rich, but designed well and provides tools to track how excited your potential customers are with your brand (by seeing how much they engage with your website or in your app - potentially great features).
I would continue using it beyond the trial, but the two drawbacks for me are the lack of number portability (in to the app or out - meaning you'd have to give up your phone numbers if you ever left) - and secondly - the cost involved with getting a webform-to-lead setup means you need the max plan - $49 per month.

Inconvénients
- If you want to use a web-to-lead form (which can be considered a common feature for a CRM), then you are required to sign up to the most comprehensive plan - i.e. $49 USD per month which seems crazy - I'd only recommend someone signing up to this if they need to the other "web engagement" features - otherwise your just wasting money on this app.
- Non-ability to port Twilio numbers (or any external numbers). A big drawback but I have an email from their team indicating that they are likely to change this.
- No dash board giving an overview of sales and leads (you only see leads when you log in)
- Ability to see financials about clients from Xero integration would be great.

Not for when you're in a pinch
We were looking for another CRM to have as a back-up to when their main CRM went down. We opted for Freshsales because the one thing they do have that the current CRM doesn't is built in calling. This piece posed to be the hardest to configure, not only initializing a number, getting additional members attached to the "hunt" tree. After a few weeks of trying to get it running efficiently as a possible "hot cut" incase of losing the main CRM, we scrapped the project, mainly because we just didn't have the extra time to sit on chat, waiting for them to respond etc...
Avantages
User interface was rather easy. Tabs were standard that you'd expect to see on a CRM. Lot's of integration tools. It was very simple to sign up and start working with in a Dev. environment.
Inconvénients
If you are starting from scratch, then you will definitely need lots of time and patience with regards to setting up emails, templates, territories, teams, VOIP etc.... Importing files was rather cumbersome and out of 800+ records, not a one imported. Error logs were nearly impossible to find and though the log is supposed to be included on the email showing the errors it wasn't. Support couldn't figure it out either.

They product is not maintained well
It helped me with my team organization, but sometimes it pushes me towards extra work due to lack of deliverability. The support team can also be very casual that way when it comes to issues.
Avantages
The system helped me set up my team at one place and get all the information integrated seamlessly. It lets me run reports and filters. Email campaigns are a good feature to automate out reach
Inconvénients
Th reporting system is really bad. You cannot rely on if it is giving you the right report. I went back to calculating in an Excel sheet because of lack of confidence

Average B2B CRM
Not good.
Avantages
There is not much pros about the software. We used it for more than 2 years and it was average performing for us.
Inconvénients
We didn't has complete visibility of the deals the sales person was working on, insights were an issue as well.

FreshSales has potential
Avantages
FreshSales is priced very competitively and has an excellent feature set. The activity feed is amazing, never seen anything like it other than on expensive SalesForce add ons. They also do a great job of auto filling details like social networks based on lead/contact email.
Inconvénients
My team has used a number of CRMs over the past 3 years and had high hopes for FreshSales but they have fallen short thus far. My main grip of the software is the speed...a simple search can take 5-10 seconds and we only have 1,200 records. There is potential here its not there yet.

In my search for a simple, easy to use CRM I tried their free version which was too complicated
I didn't receive any benefits from the software however someone who has more experience in CRM's or more time to dedicate themselves to learning may find the software useful.
I would not recommend this for someone who needs something simple, fast and basic
Avantages
Lots of features and several price options, including a free trail period. Different methods of tracking sales, managing pipelines and incorporating everything into one place. On "paper" this software looked like a dream.
Inconvénients
Ultimately it was too complicated to use, even the basics, closing a task was complicated. I submitted a request for help and was told I had to sign up for something else so even that was complicated. I did have someone from their support contact me to schedule a call and it took a while and a few missed appointments before I was able to speak to someone. When I did eventually talk to someone from support it seemed as if they were trying to sell me more services instead of helping me with getting set up.

Freshworks CRM is ok, not great!
The one thing I didn't like about Freshworks CRM was that compared to other CRM companies is that you get more with other companies for the same price.
Avantages
How easy it was to use Freshworks CRM is the main reason I used them in the past. Very easy to write emails and sending them out.
Inconvénients
The one thing I do not like about Freshworks CRM is that for the $29 plan you only get 1000 contacts, other CRM providers offer more contacts for the same price.

Another CRM for Small Businesses
Avantages
It's fairly ease to use and set-up (but setting it up takes a bit of time). The entry price point is very good for growing small businesses, or those just starting out. Its lead system for tracking prospects vs. contacts is really good.
Inconvénients
Unfortunately, with ease of use and affordability, there's often something lacking. That something is feature rich integrations (this is no Hubspot folks!), as well as a very (very) limited "reporting" function. You have to do a lot of the work yourself, and make certain you understand the flow of the system in order to make this one work for you.

Good quality CRM for the price
Avantages
• Can link sign up form to create contact into FreshSales
• Send out bulk emails (it becomes personalized so they can’t tell it’s bulk email).
• Can track emails (open, replied, opened links, bounced).
• Schedule your emails
• Edit columns to your liking in leads view
• Can bulk upload leads into RESP, Mortgage debt, etc
• Deals won and lost feature at the bottom like the others
• Schedule emails
• Marketing email campaigns can be done directly. Series of actions to multiple users.
• Create follow up actions for any tasks (or any action)
• Custom reporting not pre-set analytics
• Good customer support
Inconvénients
Would like to see the ability to link with Air call, RingCentral and Intercom. Not as clean as Pipedrive.

you can get the big picture of all the sales without a lot of work. I like the autoasing leads tool because improved the performance. And keep a data of our clients and sales is a very nice tool too.
Inconvénients
The fact is that this app works great and give you a lot of info, but this info is worthless if you can not get also the analytics, and this app do not give you this options

You have to upgrade to "Garden" before you can send mass emails. Seems like a really basic feature to have that far up the upgrade path.

Avantages
It is fairly simple to use and could be implemented by older and younger sales people alike. Seemed to meet our requirements as a small company well
Inconvénients
Formatting and visually, it was less appealing than other software I have interacted with like Cosential.
