Redis is great
It has been great. We wouldn't have chose anything else for the use case.
Avantages
Redis is a small lightweight storage platform. It does it's job and is really simple to use. It is very scalable and a no brainer to use.
Inconvénients
Redis doesn't have a lot of features, which is a good and bad thing. It's just a simple map storage technology.

Redis is super fast in-memory cache
We are using Redis to provide faster response rate by storing and retrieving data from redis. We also use redis to process our background jobs. Benefit i received from using redis is speed and reliability.
Avantages
Redis is high performance open source in-memory cache. Redis is my favorite choice to store data into cache. Cache can be used in multiple use cases like session storage, page caching, temporary data caching for faster speed. Redis supports various data types: Lists , Sorted sets , hash tables, bitmaps, hyperloglogs and geospatial indexes. Redis provides secure and high availability service.
Inconvénients
It is tricky and time taking process to setup redis for production environment if using to process background jobs.

Good database for storing data and supporting data structures
The overall experience was excellent due to its speed and efficiency.
Avantages
Redis is an in-memory data structure used as a cache and database. Redis supports data structure like Hash, String, Lists, and sets. Speed is very fast and supports many programming languages It is open-source and stable so, this is the reason to say 'Yes' to Redis.
Inconvénients
There are no cons so far. Redis also provides some commands which can be easily executed which save s a lot of time.

Our company uses redis enterprise which is the enterprise version of redis database.
Avantages
This is highly available since data is stored in multi zone replicas and the feature of instant recovery of data. Other than availability, this provides high security for data using authorization, authentication and encryption mechanisms, able to monitor clusters and integration of other tools like kubernetes and microsoft azure.
Inconvénients
I see the complexity as a drawback of redis enterprise and users need prior knowledge of how to use it.

Redis is best NoSQL DB.
We solved our very complex business logic. We are handling lot of users request at same time. Redis reduces our content loading time. I can say redis is excellent db.
Avantages
Redis is the world's faster NoSQL database. Redis read and write is very fast.

Avantages
So easy to deploy it, and use it, the api is just awesome. You can have an SDK for every language.
Inconvénients
The API is a bit strict, you can't store more the simple map inside it, but it going to be changed

It's fast, reliable, and easy to use. The added support and scalability of Redis Enterprise allows an already easy to use solution to scale to solve any problem.
Inconvénients
Redis has some limitations with how it stores its data in order to achieve such great performance. Often times this trade off is well worth it for something that works as fast as Redis.

Customizable support
Redis is in a niche on its own. It is quite possibly the de facto for memory storage and fast read write speeds. Coupled with a highly integrated platform this thing rocks! You can plug on the service to your existing workflows to cache responses and respond faster as your demands grow.
Avantages
I like the different tier of support offered for redis. In the early days of development the lowest tier is sufficient but as we scale the increase in tier was necessary for the types of support we needed
Inconvénients
The cost - but it beats managing it on your own!

What I like most about Redis is its reliable cache. It allows for uninterrupted service. It has clients in all popular programming languages. It offers data replication.

It has no query language. It only supports commands. Does not support relational algebra.

Ideal for temporary data
We store very fast expiring tokens that are used in many requests in a row, the best option we found to store them was using redis, creating a kind of cache, only going to access the database when the data expires.
Avantages
anyone who has studied computer architecture knows that data stored in ram is accessed faster than data stored in hd, in a sql database for example, so redis offers the option to store this data in ram, to access quickly.
The ease of use of the tool makes it amazing and very useful.
Inconvénients
The tool is extremely targeted and focused on one segment, and meets the expectations we need. There are no failures or unmet desires.

I like most about redis is high performance in memory cache. This cache we can use in temporary data storage, page caching etc. I like redis high speed cache, reliability and it is easy to use. It can help to build faster application with fast performance. and redis is durable for long time because of its faster performance.
Inconvénients
For a beginner, it might be tough to know about its all functionality. Somehow I feel the pricing is also one more reason.

Good Service
The overall experience has been good. We use it for storing/accessing user sessions and it has met our needs very well with little cost.
Avantages
It is fairly simple to get up and running and extremely cost effective. Beyond those base points, it scales extremely well and performance is great.
Inconvénients
The documentation is not very good at all when it comes to the available commands. It is a difficult task to learn how to use Redis from the documentation.

It's very easy to update users' data.
Inconvénients
Sometimes information from certain keys can not be cross-referenced.
The filters sometimes do not work at all (or not well).

Redis as probably everyone know - simple and simply works. As it simple it's easy to start using it by new developers. Simply work means that it requires minimum it support.
Inconvénients
So no Cons actually. Just like with any solution it's not a Silver bullet. Learn about it and read documentation and use cases. Know when is better to not use it.

We can rely on Redis Enterprise on a lot of use cases. Very performant, efficient and reliable in many use cases.
Inconvénients
The principal problem is that if you want to use Redis as a power toll and not a basic key-value store, you have to un-learn how to structurate your data without retrying to reproduce what have been done in other (no)SQL products

Its easy to use solution. i am overall happy with performance and integration of this solution.

Redis is widely being used for in-memory -cache and distributed cache management. It is having good CLI which facilitates easy administration. Its deployment and maintenance is also easy. Other supporting applications are easily available like browser extension etc. Its reliable and robust application. it have a larger community support available and widely used in industry.
Inconvénients
The weak point that its opensourcce requires RAM for storage which makes it expensive solution. however its paid enterprises solution have flexibility to use flash.

Don't try to to use it on premise. For smoothly work look for redis in a cloud provider. its functionality is extemely fast.

Avantages
Redis is a great in-memory database product that we use for cache management for our solution. It is highly scalable, fast and very easy to deploy. High availability support is also making our lives easier.
Inconvénients
Nothing that comes to my mind in the first place. Maybe it would be better to have extensive user base, but that's not the case.

Full Featured Pack
I could solve the need to have multiple Redis databases on one server, so I just moved the Redis server to Redis Enterprise and it does its job! Excellent service!
Avantages
With Redis Enterprise, I could get up and running with Redis really quickly.
I could adjust just how many servers I need for my applications is it only one or even a hundred :)
There are many cloud providers we could choose based on our needs or based on our desire.
Inconvénients
I think that Redis Enterprise already give you all the possibilities that you need to set up your Redis server and getting the machine running is really quick and easy. So, I don't have any complaints about the service, at least for now :)

Have used Redis in the past to help with caching on website.
Avantages
Redis, although somewhat confusing to understand, has great documentation and easy to follow examples.
Inconvénients
Takes a bit of time to get it up and running. Had trouble when trying to setup on one of the website we were making but ended working out.

Its fast, if a lot of data has to be shown in a dashboard, the most important or the frequently accessed ones can be saved in a redis data store and the remaining can be saved in any SQl/NoSQL database.
Avantages
Yes, It's very fast to read/write data and can be stored large data set. Many problems are addressed by Redis. Few of them are Session cache, Redis can be used as a middle layer.
Inconvénients
The web-UI for managing and interacting with your databases is fairly confusing.
