Avantages

Un logiciel très satisfaisant du point de vue de sa précision , du degré de travail et de finesse . Très efficace pour l'architecte comparant à Autocad par exemple , c'est un gain de temps tout en restant professionnel précis et correcte dans les documents que l'on produit.

Inconvénients

Pas à ma connaissance, Come tout logiciel la clé est la pratique sur ce dernier.

Avantages

La coté évolutive du logiciel ArchiCAD est ce qui me marque le plus. A chaque nouvelle version, des nouvelle fonctionnalité. Ca facilité notre travaille

Inconvénients

Le fait qu'il n'y ait pas de nomenclatures des fenêtres, portes etc.

ARCHICAD est un excellent logiciel dans le domaine de l'architecture avec un prix d'acquisition abordable. Mis à part son côté professionnel, il peut être utiliser dans plusieurs domaines d'activité

Personnellement, je ne reproche rien au logiciel Archicad

Increasingly, the more advanced what I was trying to learn, the longer it took and the lower the performance compared to other programs.

It is a good software for designing with BIM language.

It is too complicated in compare with Revit. I am happy that I switched from Archicad definitely.But I know that a lot of people say it about Revit compared with Archicad so I guess this is more a personal opinion.

How to begin this review? This software is so delightful! Actually, this software is my first option on BIM world. The render engine quality is amazing and very likely and customizable. This is an AMAZING OPTION, an AMAZING PRODUCT, the best choose.

In its features, this software it's an adventure, the more you enter the menus and options, the more you get enchanted.

One of the best things on it, it's the fluency on the model management and the views, the control on every level of the model, the customizability on the menus.

Frankly, this is a great option.

Inconvénients

The dislike about this software? Actually i have minimum dislikes, the only thing I'd recommend to the developers of ArchiCAD would be that the document generator could be more friendly, like other drawing CAD applications, that would make more easier the process of finishing the tasks. Oh, and another thing that I don't find very likeable is that the IOS verson of the bimx is more practical than the pc one.

The BIM methodology has been incorporated in out projects for a year now, and we have been using Archicad to accomplish the architecture modelling and also the 2D drafting all at once. It is very easy to use and a powerful software that can manage high end projects.

Inconvénients

There is limited support between versions. Sometimes it makes it hard to work.

It's BIM Modeling features. It offers significantly bigger level of productivity

It gives a very professional and detailed view of architectural plans. I like the ability to be able to switch from 2D to 3D which shows errors that might not be obvious initially.

ArchiCAD requires a powerful system and lots of RAM, especially while rendering. When you are opening a file with a lot of data, it does tend to slow down the system a little.

I love that as Im working on one my projects i can actually make it real like size as well as scaling to smaller size. Everything in noggles are easy to find without a headache

Well I least like the many upgrades that have been presented. It was a little difficult to figure everything but got to learn new tools.

I've used ArchiCAD in the past to do some 3D modeling and rendering visualization for architectural projects. However, in my experience using other 5-8 software on the same line, I think ArchiCAD in one of the most basic ones. You'll be able to create a project from scratch and do a fair/good quality rendering if you know how to use it.

You would also, learn how to be organized with layer management.

Inconvénients

The compatibility with 3D model formats (the most known like 3DS, FBX, and OBJ don't really work great, as some of the textures may be missing during the export-import process.

Also, their customer service, can be a little painfull, just to get answers to common issues. You'll spend 30-45 minutes, to get a not much-convinced answer, that you could probably find by looking in the web.

I do not have a great experience with this software, but I think maybe it is a good software for those who are more involved in the Interior design or students to start in the industry because it gives you the tools to understand other software.

Avantages

Archicad is like a combination of autocad and illustrator, but with better 3d functionality. I really enjoy drawing in this program because you see exactly how it looks without having to go to a print mode.

Inconvénients

The downside is that it is really not an industry standard program. Select offices use it and then file exchange can become an issue.

- Not a popular software, so had to work in a team as other students might not be using the same software.

I have been using it for a short time and the experience, although positive, has its cons, being a bit rigid software and not very flexible in some commands, I had problems adapting quickly to its use
