Review

Good, efficiency has improved and we are better able to monitor our engineers. The invoicing is easier as well as the tablets being beneficial for reports.

Avantages

The tracking on vehicles and that we get the reports live as opposed to on paper.

Inconvénients

It can be slow and is not always specific for our industry, (plumbing). It is not effective for our accounts and they are concerned about using it for Sage. Some basic features are missing such as: credits against jobs.

It's the BigChange your business needs

Using the software has enabled our business to go paperless, and keep customers updated with their jobs. Roadcrew (BigChange customer support) are excellent at resolving any issues you have.

Avantages

The software is designed in such a way that it can easily be user bespoke to your business needs, allowing it to be used across many business sectors. It removes the need for paperwork, you can go completely digital, with your customers receiving there digital paperwork immediately after the job has been completed straight into their inbox.

Automatic notifications are excellent for keeping your customer up to date with the jobs progress.

Inconvénients

The software was originally for logistics and therefore some of the front end is wording logistics bias. ie engineers are drivers!

Big Change/Road Crewe

Big Change is a great and easy way to get our jobs booked in, there are many different features that you can use and tailor to the requirements for the business.

Avantages

The option to speak to CS using the Road Crew number - the speed in which your query is answered is amazing, no waiting for issues to be resolved.
Team members have great knowledge of the system and are happy to talk me through what I need to do. They show me other features that may help me in the future.
Always follow up with an email to say they have received the query, helped and give you the option to chase them up if you still have a query

Inconvénients

When duplicate data is being entered (property address - with an existing account) the system flags to show you that they have an account

Highly recommended work force system

The team have been really impressed with the functions Big Change offers compared to our previous system.
We have only been using the system since April 2020 and are still discovering new functions this system has to offer that we can incorporate and enhance the business.

Avantages

Mobile app for the engineers to use tablets on site- improving the productivity and service to our clients - invoicing can be done instantly once the job is closed on the tablet
Our accounts team can sync the system to Sage and now run a more slick operation
Invoicing, raising jobs, quotations are all easy function to use. Alerts function is really handy too!

Inconvénients

Setting up some of the templates can be a little tricky until you get to understand the format it is set out in, but Roadcrew are always on hand to assist with queries and are always helpful to find ways to achieve a solution.
The system can do so much more that what we have been used to with our old package that a 1 day training session to cover this at the start was a little over whelming, maybe this could be broken into a couple of sessions.

BigChange Review

The system itself is great - I think the on boarding process could be vastly improved by small changes , but overall its a great product and definately worth using.

Everything in one place - reduces the need for multiple systems

Inconvénients

Dashboard could be WAY better and also access to overseeing the system through a mobile is poor/non existent.

Fabulous System

Positive experience making work so much easier and accountable

Avantages

This system has enabled me as a user to constantly update the CRM, it allows reminders to pop up when needed, everybody in the business can see what is happening on what account. It is such an easy system to use and navigate round.

Inconvénients

So far, any issues I have are usually due to me not being very 'Teccy' however, one call to Road Crew and everything is immediately explained in simple terms and the issue is overcome. Road Crew are EXTREEMLY helpful.

Great System especially for Transport Management and Training

Avantages

I like the system as I can log all the information - dates, certificates, invoices for the Transport. I can schedule the PMI's so that they do not get missed.

I like the fact that it sends you reminder if training or vehicle information is near expiry.

Inconvénients

Adding absences is time consuming as you need to do each one daily.

Great Software to use

Fantastic, they are always helpful if any issues are raised and get them resolved quickly. The software is slick and easy to use and is a huge help in our daily tasks

Avantages

It is very effective of timings of when jobs have been done and is very easy to create new jobs and allocated on to drivers.

Inconvénients

It can have its moments on being a little slow however this is usually when they are doing an update on the software which they warn you of anyway

One stop shop!

Avantages

Initially, we required a vehicle tracking software to replace Road Angel. Big Change was the obvious choice as the price was competitive and came with a host of additional features such as job planning.
Excellent customer service, which I know is vital in a software company. I really, really like the new university training platform as you can never know enough.

Inconvénients

I will be honest, there is nothing I dislike about the software or the user experience.

It does just what i need it to do saving time and money

All good o the customer service side however sales side seem only wanted to get the sales and move on.

Review of BigChange

Missed jobs for sites as they are flagged on the map. Not completing jobs without a purchase order as site can be put on stop.

Avantages

It is a good overview of work completed, all detailed information for each site in one place. You can use the new ideas portal for any suggestions you have to better the system.

Inconvénients

Still requires fixes and additional benefits for certain things.

Good, could be better in regards to API

Support, especially with API, you have to wait for a developer to look over the issue. Our IT also bemoans that the API changes without warning

The Story so Far ..............

I find having everything on the one system extremely helpful, from scheduling the engineers to invoicing saving notes and information to the back of each job.

Avantages

I have found the system easy to work with and over the last several years I have seen the system perfect in many ways.
I find the CRM system the best I have ever used.

Inconvénients

I have had a small amount of training on the stock system and found this complicated and quite intense.

Sometimes the map doesn't work properly .
You zoom in and it can't keep up with the change , so the map gets distorted .

Great Company

The amount of travel time has been cut down, accountability is easier, tracking engineers is simple and getting customers signatures of a job well done has reduced non payment of accounts

The ease of use and the fact that everything is in one place

Inconvénients

Some of the forms are not easy to edit and also there are things that we would like to do that the system isn't capable of, however it is constantly evolving so i am sure we will get there

Big Change - Review

Overall experience is positive as there is so much that the system can do for us as a business, from scheduling jobs consistently and when we need them to be completed, to storing valuable client information.

Avantages

The software is easy to use and user friendly. Using the system daily, this is important from a functionality perspective.

Inconvénients

The scheduling side could be improved. The planner function could be a lot more useful but from creating the route, there doesn't seem to be anywhere to go from there.

This software has the potential of being the best Software in the worls , they only have to build on the warehouse & Invoicing and slowly impliment accounting software and truly will be aa laeder . In other words if they can work on this than they will have ERP , FSM , TRACKING systems all in one

The best thing we have done this year!

We have improved our exchange of information between engineers, office staff and the client, nothing gets missed or forgotten, it is an electronic helping hand.

Avantages

The integration of tracking and job management has allowed us to streamline our busy call out service.

Inconvénients

Occasionally, the "one size fits all" package doesn't relate exactly to our specific operation.

Vehicle Tracking

The only issue we have had is vehicles dropping out of range and loosing data, which is probably mainly due to the locality of our operation, however there have been some occasional web outages too, Overall the support and quality of the product is good

Simple to use interface, reporting (although we do not use the system to its full potential), access to historical data

As far as the software is concerned, we have no issues

Big Change for Business

Big Change has helped to streamline our work force, raise invoices in a timely matter and communicate better to our customers. There are still lots of options that we probably don't use that will also help us. Every day is learning something new. I find the Road Crew very efficient.

Avantages

There are so many features that can help a business. Work scheduler, maps for tracking resources, financial documents, reports, alerts are very useful.

Inconvénients

We've had quite a few issues with slowness of the screens. Updating times of jobs and information. It can be a little frustrating at times.

James at Roe Environmental Review

Avantages

It helps us keep on top of what we do on site, helps to clear up any customer disputes and helps other operatives see the job history when we re-attend

Inconvénients

Set up was quite difficult, and the on boarding team were quite hard to contact, and responses from them with site development were quite slow. We still haven't fully developed and checked the Consignment note function, and we were willing to pay extra to have this fast tracked.

Avantages

Nice visual on screen so can see which jobs are coming up

Inconvénients

would like to be able to hover over the job and get more information without having to open it in view.
Do not like the way JW calculates travel time to and from jobs
would like a better timesheet function

JSM Building Solutions vehicle tracker

we`ve been able to see if any of the vehicles are been used when they shouldn`t and able to give clients immediate ETA`s on engineer arrival times.

Avantages

easy to access on mobile devices, able to set alerts and run reports including driving behaviour

Inconvénients

None really, compared with others systems we`ve used.

Review on Big Change

We can send out worksheets to clients easily saving office man hours from hand writing the sheets.

Avantages

Its easy to see what the engineers have done and look back on any specific dates, produce reports etc.

Inconvénients

Sometimes you cant see a clients signature on the sheet even when it is there.

Big Change Review

Avantages

The Big Change Software is straight forward to use and as long as you can get on line you can work from where ever you are at home or at work.

Inconvénients

I would really like to see how Big Change can run a stock system, as at the moment we have not been able to use Big Change for this.

Great Scheduling System

Avantages

Great way to track and book our engineer works in daily

Inconvénients

It still needs some functionality options around scheduling plans - being able to see what is due when could be easier to nagivate.

Great System

Avantages

We recently moved over to this software and we are still in the early stages but so far, the system brings together all aspects of our business eliminating the need for different systems.

Inconvénients

The team have struggled with the layout of the software but i am sure they will soon get used to it.

Excellent Customer Service

Relative to integrations of other business changing software, the process with BigChange was wonderful!

Avantages

The software is intuitive for both the web user and field service technician. The integration is relatively easy due to the flexible nature of the configuration. The customer support for the Roadcrew is first class.

Inconvénients

The lockdown complications meant that we had to introduce the system completely remotely, this probably caused the integration to take longer than expected but we dealt with it and worked with the Roadcrew to deliver it under the unusual circumstances.

Big Change

Avantages

The implementation team have been nothing short of amazing. We have been using the system for a month now but still have the support required to iron out any issues. Would highly recommend the BigChange to anyone.

Inconvénients

There is one item which I am sure in time will come, when a job is duplicated instead of giving it a new job number I feel it should be the same number a - or / with a 2, 3,4 etc after. For example job 12345 for the first visit, 12345/2 for the 2nd visit etc.

BigChange Review

The team mean well but actually getting anything actioned is very poor and spares side of it is below par at best!
i think the rest of it is brilliant and the best out there if im honest !

The concept and job logging side is amazing 11 out of 10! but the implementation and spares and communication is shocking 2 out of 10

Awesome System

Great.

Avantages

Everything! Easy to use, visually great and effective

Inconvénients

The transfer of data from our old system to new didn't correlate very well however this is not an issue with our software - this was because we were using an archaic system previously

Its time for the Big Change

Link to sage, Field reporting and document integration, Gas Safe etc.

Avantages

Very early stages of use at the moment, but can already see the potential. Like the tracker integration. The number of ways information can be inputted . There is still a lot to learn. Need to answer in more depth later.

Too early to know at this stage. Will know more later.

Makes my job easy

I started the job using big change, it made this process very easy. I was able to learn the ins and outs of the business whilst using big change. It made information very easy to learn. I then took on a financial role which is also easy to manage on big change. From running reports to invoicing - there is nothing I find hard about big change.

Avantages

Easy to manage the day of numerous operatives at one time. Able to access invoices/financial software really easy. I have never needed to ask for help with the software as everything has been easy to work out.

Inconvénients

Only issue I have had is Jobs being created then having the same job number as another job. This only happened once and has not happened again.

Excellent System & Amazing helpful staff!!

Avantages

The system is amazing and covers all that we need within our company, Every day i am finding more and more new tools that Big Change have amongst there system. It supports all of the needs that my customers need down to live tracking, personalised work sheets, keeps track on the time spent on site and you can literally customise it to suit your company! The system itself is very easy to learn! Would highly recommend it to other customers
