Avantages

There are a lot of features built into ideanote focused on the feedback and management of ideas.

Inconvénients

No overall cons, but I have a feature request.

I think the capturing of ideas could be emphasized more prominently. The default view is designed more for the management of ideas, which is a critical role, but users simply coming to provide ideas could easily get lost and overwhelmed. I would like to see an idea-collection view to be a simple 3 step form.

1) welcome we want your input,
2) fields to submit their idea.
3) thank you for your idea.

I love how easy Ideanote makes collecting and voting on ideas within a company or organisation. They're really thought out the product.

Inconvénients

I'd prefer if customers didn't have to create an account to submit an idea or vote, but I understand the reasons (accountability).

Avantages

Ideanote makes it incredibly easy to manage, monitor, discuss, and implement all of the ideas that the agency comes up with. Before ideanote we were losing amazing ideas in email and text threads but now we have one, centralized place to keep track of them and make sure they make it full circle into our clients work.

I used to lose all my notes, or more likely, they would just be written down on a notepad (or notepad app) never to be looked at again. Now I have a way to record important notes AND be able to reference them when I need them. For me, unlike I am sure many other users of the platform, getting feedback from clients/users is just a side benefit.

Inconvénients

I still need to find better ways to incorporate client feedback into my Ideanote workflow. This is of secondary concern for me since I mainly use the platform for internal idea management, but I know I can improve on the client-facing side of things. It's probably a me problem and not a software problem, but thats what comes to mind as I write this review.

Ideanote helps me flesh out my business strategies! I run all segments of my company through ideanote and it helps paint the larger picture on key decisions to help us grow!

It was a little confusing to use initially. I wish they had an onboarding process to show best practices *right away* on how to use the software

- The UI and navigation are easy to figure out.
- Easily customizable with White-labeling features
- Public voting of ideas is possible with crowd intelligence
- Consideration of idea for implementation is seamless and has natural flow
- Team collaboration to discuss on the next steps post-ideation

- Unable to add custom header or footer to the portal
- It could be more tightly coupled with social media via sharing buttons

We love the fact we can finally align our vision and mission with our clients AND help them to give easy feedback AND make us better.

It would be cool to invite clients to multiple missions with one link, however there is a work around so no big deal :).

Love the simplicity of the Idea generation and engaging other employees to input their ideas for better collaboration.

There is no dislike about the software but would like make adjustments to the UI like having the font a little more bold other than that love the software :)

Ideanote is a very innovative software as a service. The layout is very sleek, friendly UI and excellent UX.

Ideanote team control still need some improvement. It is lack of multi-ranks permission.

I have been looking for a system where I could promote the culture of listening in our media company and the community it serves. I have been looking at Hearken but when I found IdeaNote, I am very happy for it serves what Hearken does at an affordable price, easy deployment, and customizable system.

Inconvénients

So far it serves well our needs. However, I would wish we could have more room to choose the size of fonts bearing in mind those with the difficulty of reading small texts.

Simple and under stable innovation cycles. Keep a permanent idea collection available for everyone on the team. Easy and understandable. Collect the ideas, collectively decide and finally execute the ideas.

Having a dedicated space for ideas helps to create sort of a virtual sandbox for ideation. Unlike messenger applications where a lot of things happen, Ideanote brings clear purpose.

I would like to be able to switch to a default or recommended font. While setting it for white labelling I picked random font that was awful, and then had to spend a lot of time getting a font that was nice. (The choices are endless, and I’m not a font geek)

Simple and ease of use. Its like a single purpose social media platform, instead of talking about everything under the sun, this is for ideation on a single topic only, so discussion remain focused.

It's a neat take on the old-fashioned ideas box. Users can submit ideas while others comment on them and vote them. Lots of potentiel uses especially for extending ideas genrations outside of the the organisation.

Inconvénients

External users have to register via email, Slack or Google none of which are ideal and create a barrier for participation in certain communities.

I really like the UI and the team behind the software is extremely communicative and helpful.

I haven't really found anything about the software that I don't like, seems well-thought-out and has everything a small team to a large organization would need to collect ideas.

I loved being able to track and collect ideas in a way I hadn't ever thought about before (will be onboarding the rest of our team soon :D). Ideanote is intuitive to use - easy to pick up - with a simple, beautiful interface. No extra fuss, and does perfectly what it is made for.

There isn't much I can think of, but maybe it would be nice to see more flexibility for "What kind of ideas do you want to collect?" (e.g. allowing users to submit all three types of ideas, or having more options), or being able to add tags to missions.

I love the user interface and how it walks you through the whole process--the ease of use and journey on the user end feels super welcoming. I love how in the initial set up you choose your own branding colors so immediately it feels like a space that was designed for me to be in

I was a little confused about the public vs private workspace option when you do the initial setup, but reached out to customer service and they got back to me promptly. It turns out you can make any "mission" public and embed it with a widget on your site. That's super exciting.

The best thing about Ideanote is how simple it is to collect ideas. Instead of wasting time with a lengthy onboarding, I can have my fans give me input and vote on the ideas they like almost instantly.

I am hoping that sometime in the future I'll be able to allow access to a group of Missions all at once, instead of waiting for them to create a log in and then adding them (after the fact).

The layout of the missions makes it easy for our entire team to browse, and find missions that they can add to, or start their own. Sometimes that leads to organic cross-pollination of ideas that otherwise would have remained siloed.

I really like the ability to easily put ideas out there, get feedback and then rate them. There is a clear and robust user flow focused on idea sharing, feedback etc.

I don't know how to solve this one, but the main issue with IdeaNote is that it's yet another tool. We use many, many tools at our company and so adding on more tool is cumbersome. If it could replace other tools and have idea management/collection that could be ideal.

It has always been a struggle for me and my team to sparkle ideas that made sense for our projects which we can then organise, filter out and develop further. With its great UX, ideanote helped in sparking creativity and structuring it.

Frameworks that help in creating and evaluating ideas are essential in order to focus on the essential. More of these frameworks to guide the team could be a great benefit in improving the experience.
