Avantages

I love the calendar feature where I can view how I spent blocks of time on each day. It is also easy to adjust after the fact (something I do a lot, as sometimes I start working on a task and forget to start the timer).

Inconvénients

I often leave it running by accident, and I don't like how I have to go in and manually fix it when this happens. I think I should be able to set an automatic cutoff. It's also a little clunky, especially switching between the mini timer and the full view; but that is not a huge pain point. I wish the calendar was labelled with days of the week too, not just dates, to make it easier to see my work week at a glance.

- Who doesn't' need a timer? In my opinion, people should employ the use of timers to manage their tasks. It no doubt makes you more efficient. Like when you see that timer running, with that ticking sound, you want to race with it and hopefully finish your task at the time you planned to finish it. The moment you don't use a timer, its like there is no accountability. Most of the times you end up spending more time on tasks that you would have wanted to. - I have also noticed that the moment you don't use a timer when completing tasks, you are very prone to destructions in the middle of doing the tasks. - Toggle Track gives you all the functionalities you would need in a timer - reporting, sound functionality, it's also pretty easy to use. It is also a free app!- I also like that I can easily access it via my smart phone and through my browser when am on my laptop. That is pretty convenient for me.

Inconvénients

There is nothing I can say I do not like about Toggle Track at this point. Maybe I can mention a wish. I wish Toggle Track can be integrated with Microsoft To and Google Tasks to work together, because I use Microsoft To Do and Google tasks as my to apps but both do not have an inbuilt timer functionality.

I should also highlight the stability and reliability. I can't rate the customer service because I've never needed to contact them!

Inconvénients

There's very little to criticize here. What it sets out to do, it does extremely well.
As a fan of the Pomodoro technique, I feel this function could be improved in Toggl. I'd prefer it if it didn't automatically stop the timer, but rather gave me the option to trigger a break after a set time.

I like how easy Toggl is to use to track time. simple click of a button and I don't have to worry about tracking how long I worked on a project. I also like that it has a free version since I don't need to use all the other fancy features Toggl offers. (Not that they are bad, I just don't need them.)

Inconvénients

I wish I could search a specific project I have been working on over months and all the time stamps for when I worked on it and total hours of working on it would pop up. Maybe this is an option in the paid version, which I can respect, I just wish I could do that with the free version.

I really like how easy to use this browser based software is. I've appreciated their straightforward customer support when I've needed it, and valued their versatility.

Inconvénients

Their login is more clunky than it probably should be. It's frustrating that every time I want to log in, it redirects to their home page, makes me select thier product from their offerings, and *then* lets me log in.

Avantages

It does what it is expected: provides a simple, yet very efficient interface to track time and create reports.
I love the way to click on a button to start tracking time and then add the details (description, client, project, tags...) or simple re-use previous entries.
It is possible to export/import tasks from and out to other plattforms, using a simple csv file.
It is possible to have several workspaces and projects associated to teams
Reports are visual and easy to generate

Inconvénients

It is expensive for relatively small teams
It misses integration with other 3rd party services, such as asana, github, gitlab...

Avantages

It's super easy to start. Simply name your task, add a project if you like, and hit "Start". Then track how much have you done and make your own conclusions. If you need more, there are features for teams, billable hours tracking, tags, and more. If you forgot to push a button, don't worry - you can add and modify entries manually.

Inconvénients

An Android app could be better designed, I find it less convenient than a desktop or even a web app.

I have used Toggl for years. It started as a product I saw other people using. Once I started using it I take it to all my jobs. It is a great way to see where my time goes. Once I started the habit of tracking my time I could immediately see how it would be helpful in my career.

Toggl has continued to improve the product over the years. I pay for the product and can't be happier.

Adding people makes the prices go up quickly.

I used it every day and it's very ease to log all my worked hours, with the notifications I never forget to start a timer and with the inactivity alert I also ease to stop when I leave. The reports are very good to check all the worked hours and the mobile app has all the important information to keep track of my hours.

I didn't like some UI differences between desktop and web app.

I had to use this software last year and I liked very much, especially diagrams, which are easy understandable. Summary report is also very simple and transparent.

Inconvénients

Sometimes I had problem to assign several tasks to project and later on report them. It would be great to find a better surface for reporting. Nowadays I have to use Harvest, which surface is a bit better and reporting is a bit easier. However, I still have problem: notes are not visible, searchable.

Avantages

Toggl Track helps me tracking the time I spend in each task. It's easy to use and has plenty of features. It takes my personal organization to a whole new level. It's so useful that I use it everytime I'm on the computer, and I couldn't think of not using it. With Togg Track I can have insight about how I use my time.

Inconvénients

I can't think of a thing I dislike about Toggl Track.

Avantages

I love that Toggl can generate in depth reports for you. It's also fairly easy to create specific projects that you can keyword in and immediately start tracking your time. The website offers reports, as mentioned, as well as easy to understand visuals that break down how much time you spent per project.

Inconvénients

I wish it had a smaller widget that displayed on the screen while you're working. It's not a program that I can switch to quickly.

Toggl has a very simple design that makes time-tracking a breeze. It's not overloaded with features and the ability to categorize your tasks make it even easier to track your progress when working on multiple projects.

Straight to the point. I only use this to track my time spent on projects, but my boss does use the analytic tools. It's nice being able to group the projects by clients and will automatically group the same projects together if you work on it throughout the day. Very easy to track your time and make edits in case you're like me and forget to turn off the tracker. At the end of the week it sends you a weekly report of all the time you tracked - which is very convenient for anyone who has to send a weekly task report. Offers a billable time section, which is great for anyone needing to bill their customers.

just for how I use it I have no qualms about it. We switched to a program that tracks your time while being able to upload files for review. Nothing against toggl, just trying to cut out as many software as possible.

This software helps me show what I was doing and when. Counting my time spent is critical and Toggl is the best tool I've used for this. Update it on browser or smartphone and it all syncs and reports weekly. Simply Brilliant with great support.

It is very easy to learn and easy to use. It didn't require any time-consuming up-front setup. I just started using it by entering projects I was currently working on, and then added new ones as I needed them. It's free so that's great! I usually use the manual time entry but I love that you can also have it auto time by using start and stop feature.

The only thing I've wished it did was list all of the 'what have you done' items related to a project already once I pick the product so I could just select from them.
