Avantages

Many features caught my attention, including the inability to bypass or disable Endpoint protection even with Administrator permission.
Sending warnings to the email with a report stating the threat and the path of the threat to the server In addition to the ability to manage it through the cloud easily, which provides the management of server protection quickly and from anywhere.

Inconvénients

A little delay in the issuance of reports and sending them to the e-mail, which can cause a delayed response to cyber incidents. It also lacks some features such as stopping the network of the infected server with Malware and focusing on isolating it more than dealing with the matter It also lacks to close suspicious sites that are not closed in the firewall or even alert the user.

Avantages

Simple manage it with web console. Don't penalize the performance of the pc's or servers.

Inconvénients

At the beginning, not easy to configure alerts, by example.

Intercept X has been an outstanding endpoint protection platform for our organization. It is a very much needed upgrade over the previous Sophos endpoint product.

Inconvénients

So far our experience has been great with this product. We haven't run into any issues. Looking forward to continued protection this product provides.

When it worked, it worked alright, but was a struggle to get functioning.

It took lots of hand holding to get it installed and half the machines didnt function. Sales team misinformed us. We got a refund on the product.

Provides a very high level of protection, allowing central control of applications, peripherals, web browsing through settings\policies.

From my experience the support is not great taking a day or so to have a reply.

The low resource usage and the easy of setup is what i liked most about Sophos, updates all all automatically completed without interaction need from the admin (this is configurable)

The encryption side of this product didn't work as well as i had hoped, in our environment we have a mixture of devices that can and cant be encrypted, ideally we wanted to select all devices and then Sophos encrypts any devices that have a TPM and leaves devices that do not

Avantages

Sophos is an effective cyber security suite that will definitely keep your computers and data networks safe.

Inconvénients

The user interface is a bit clunky and could use a face lift. The program itself consumes way more processing power than I think it should when opened. It is also a bit more invasive than other more discrete competitors, e.g. popping up on the screen seemingly unprompted to show you a review of the last system scan. Our company stopped using this software after 5 months in operation.

Very Low system resources consumption on OS X and most Linux systems.
Easy to install and manage.
Management Console has everything and looks new and very nice (2016).

No quick scans.
Can not install the agent for OS X and Linux from the management console but it is possible to push it on Windows.

Very easy install, simply put the install file on our network drive, pushed out the installer through a script to all computers within minutes silently. Within fifteen minutes, I was already receiving notifications of virus / spyware removal from our users computers.

A number of false positive removals on our users computers. Was easy enough to set a rule to allow, but having to restore all of them was a problem.

Sophos is great at it's job ,protecting your computer . The scans are always comprehensive ,the interface is very user-friendly and there are regular updates ensuring you are safe from the newest threats .

Inconvénients

Being so detailed in it's searches means that it some times marks programs as viruses when they aren't that ,but better safe than sorry.

My experience with Sophos is very pleasant .It is barely noticeable when running and found a Trojan our previous provider was not able to locate.

I think it is primarily designed to tend to tech savvy people .It is not that user friendly and you need to know what you are doing to properly navigate it .

I like that it works seamlessly in the background and the virus protection is centralized ,which helps keep track of anything happening anywhere .

Not user friendly and a bit hard to navigate .Fortunately we have an IT department that mainly handles the program .

Sophos Endpoint Protection is easy to install and manage and does a decent job of keeeping the viruses out.

Like most Antivirus products you also need separate Malware protection. I wish someone would do an all in one product.

Avantages

The admin portal is great. It offers incredible control over individual clients. Reporting is spectacular and give a highly granular view of what's going on.

Inconvénients

When an install goes wrong it can be difficult to remove and start open. If you can't see the client on the admin console it is nearly impossible to remove the software without manually editing the registry to stop a service from running.

Avantages

The ability to control and manage the anti-virus for multiple machines in one place. My users can forget all about it and leave it to the admin.

Inconvénients

It's a little over simplistic. Sometimes it's hard to know what's going on because there isn't much detail!

have a strong on web control screen which can me a from distanced monitoring tool it is very very helpful in many cases

the premium thing is kinda frustrating, but anyway it do not a fully described control window which makes you gets lost sometimes
