Onboarding was so easy, moving from an Excel environment​ was so easy, within less than half a day I was able to operate Ninox and see the value it held for my business. I even moved my private life onto Nino. The support was unbelievable, I really did not expect the extend Ninox was prepared to assist me.

Inconvénients

Creating large templates for input fields is difficult and manually entering data is slightly cumbersome​.

Avantages

Ninox is very easy to learn and adjust to, it has a smooth user interface and a great Customer Support team.

Inconvénients

I honestly have no negative concerns so far and I hope I run into none as I keep using this tool.

availability across the fleet of mobile and traditional platforms and seems to provide a great solution for Apple environment especially.
It is easy to get started and the templates and forum are really good, though it is easy to lose a great deal of time in the forum.

The user manual and documentation gloss over a number of important features etc. Switch is an example.

Inconvénients

There are certain aspects that can be improved like the correct print layout on iOS devices, the possibility to recover deleted data and the split screen option to check two tables at the same time.

Very easy to use. Very fast to develop an application. Easy sharing with a team. I made a complex database for multi company and it work well. I will not go back to Filemaker or MS Access.

Functionality description is not complete. You do not have information about all the feature and functions.

That it can be used on iPhone, iPad and a Mac is a killer feature for me: data available everywhere. Of course: the formulas can be produced only on the mac - but can be used everywhere. And that is a often seen characteristic in other apps too: The mac to produce datas, the mobiles to view them. In this case: the mobile can be used to generate data - but without changing the data model - what seems reasonable.

On the other hand I wrote a question and had a solution to a rather complex formula in less then 24 hours from the support.

No programing knowledge needed. Our database was setup in a day and we were up and running within a week.

A few functions did require a little programing, but customer support helped me through it. Ninox Customer Support was there whenever we needed assistance, and was able to quickly resolve our requests.

Easy to work with and excellent support. The price of course is fantastic for such a feature filled app. And it syncs across platforms PERFECT.

Nothing really - of course I have wishes - but things are being developed all the time. I would like the user interface to be more customizable if anything.

I love the ability to not just enter the data but create the structure of the database as I want it. It means I can create databases adapted precisely to my needs rather than adapt our data to a preset structure. The access via phone app is really useful as well. And the support team is excellent should I ever need help!

Inconvénients

If you really have to nitpick, there are two things that could be better. One is filters — there is no way to filter
or order the table view by column A, then column B, at the moment, or to filter a multiple choice column with choice A AND choice B or by choice A OR choice B. The second is maybe an ability to remove all non-visible fields when printing a record, as currently the capacity for adapting the print layout is fairly limited.

Avantages

The interface suits a logical, traditional approach and method for building a relational database. It behaves very well. No hidden, mysterious functions taking place. Everything is accessible so you can easily figure out complex relationships between tables. I can keep all my data local.

Inconvénients

Still waiting for security on iPad so I can set permissions for other users of the same data - hide sensitive data and prevent edit/deletions.

I liked most the scalability of the application and the customer service, that always reply in few time and with the right answer.

Interface could be improved and the cloud edition don't sync dates with Apple calendar. Moreover, for some kind of records miss an 'empty records' filter.

You can build every feature you want - or need. There is no constraint in templates - you can use some, but you don´t have to.

The Software is really user friendly, I did have (almost) no experience except for some on high school 15 years ago and still easy to work with.

The way it is designed it easy to start your data base en by trail and error you learn fast. And the manual on the website covers almost al the basics

The online support they offer by confrenscall works great! The tip's they gave makes the work even easier.

Dind't find many cons. The manual could be a bit better but it think they are working on that. And they sad the connection with mail chimp will be there soon so then they have solved that for me.

The software is incredibly user-friendly and intuitive. It was obviously created to allow the user to be creative in their use of data and not be overly burdened with processes.

When I made a duplicate database, renamed it, made it empty I discovered that the original DB was also empty. And what is more, all daily archived copies before the date of duplicating were also empty. In other words, one year of work is lost.

The ability to cloud sync and use on multiple platforms (desktop & mobile). Extremely convenient to be able to enter/edit contact information from phone or ipad and have it there on your desktop when returning to the office. Easy to customize contact fields make Ninox simple to tailor to you needs or industry.

No negative concerns. The product is a simple, basic CRM which works extremely well. The questions I had getting started were answered completely, fully and timely by Ninox' incredible customer supprot team. This truly is an amazing product.

It is easy to setup and use. The interface is straight forward and easy to use. This is not an application, but a data base program so there is a short learning curve.

The user manual needs to be more comprehensive. Programming in Ninox is at times difficult but the expert online support staff has been an excel source of help. They are very responsive and their screen sharing sessions have been most valuable.

It is highly customizable (basic and more complex, formulaic, customizations are welcome), runs on Mac, and the iPad version is fully featured and operates exactly like the Mac version

I don't like that the software doesn't allow much flexibility with visual design, colors, and such. A background would be nice, and the ability to adjust the design/visuals.

Once you have made a database paradigm shift this software becomes very fast and easy to develop.
The support is amazing and more than makes up for the limited instructions.

Does not have the full data manipulation capabilities of SQL or MS Access.
There are very few bugs, none of which will damage your data, but there are a few to be aware of regarding date input and parameters and percentage math.

The manuals aren't sufficiently developed for a relatively competent computer user to work out solutions alone. That said, the customer support is so good, that you scarcely need the manual....

At the moment the manuals are poor because they assume quite advanced knowledge of the Ninox script language, which I and many others struggle to understand. So the help desk gets inundated with a lot of really basic questions that could be answered if they just had a "Ninox Script for Beginners" document covering the really basic things.

- it's good to "play around" just to try something.

It annoys me the most that I can not program. that I do not speak any programming language and thus can not exploit the full potential of NInox.

It's very confortable to begin a job on a computer and to be able to continue on an Ipad, and vice versa. I used to work with Filemaker pro, but Ninox is quite enough for my small business needs.

It's impossible for me to make séveral models of quotes, invoces... If I have to put different legal informations on each one, I have to do it at the end, before printing for example, by removing some of them.

I'm amazed at what I was able to accomplish within a few hours. The product is powerful and flexible without unnecessary complication.

Great support. I sent an email with a few questions and received a prompt answer and an offer to schedule time for a consultation. I had a quick screen sharing session with an knowledgeable engineer. Problem solved.

Initially purchased to help manage all aspects of a large international academic conference - abstract submissions, registrations, attendance by different groups at different activities, checking in, personalised information handouts. Now being evaluated for budgeting and cost management. Customisable to the extreme.

Huge (and increasing) number of features - customisable to the extreme - needs a bit of time investment to get to the bottom of some features, but worth it in the end.

It is relatively inexpensive. It is easy to use and to show others how to use. The biggest reason for using it is that it functions fine without an active Internet connection.

Inconvénients

After syncing fine for several days, it now is refusing to sync any changes to the cloud. The tech support, while helpful, is often two or three days in coming. That makes for a long time sometimes to resolve an issue. Lastly, it is missing an easy pick-list field type, where another table can be used as the source for fields in other tables.
