Users are always so impressed that we can create a digital book with pages that flip like a traditional book. This feature makes the content interactive & engaging. We can easily embed the presentations onto our website and other digital platforms.

Inconvénients

The free version has limitations when it comes to features but there is always the opportunity to upgrade for a small cost.

The software is easy to use - upload a document and it does all the work on the backend. When completed, you're left with a professional, interactive, and easily shareable document which is great for internal and external audiences alike.

Inconvénients

I wouldn't say it was a con, but I would love it if I could customize the url and white label it to my company without any mention of Flipsnack - even if it came as part of a premium package. Though to be honest, I don't know that it is not possible now, my review is based only on what I have seen from the system as is. That would be my only suggestion, but currently, the only mention of FlipSnack is very discreet.

It’s easy to sue with some great features, especially if you have a lot of photos to feature. You can make something that sends easily and is beautifully presented. Love the duplicate page feature

When i save and don’t click publish it still publishes it which is annoying when you are working on a draft and have not completed it.

I wish there was a line to indicate when something is centered or aligned with something else

Flipsnack gives me a way to share digital versions of artists' books I create. Combining text with imagery in tactile books is a limited edition - with Flipsnack I can upload word docs in sections of a complete book (covers, chapters, colophon) and Flipsnack software merges them Into a whole. I do not have paid versions of Adobe products so part of Flipsnack's value is in providing me a pdf version of each book I upload.

Inconvénients

Flipsnack's basIc version is good enough for me, although I do sometimes wish for the up-graded features, but I appreciate the flexability that lets me take down and put up different books to juggle my basic plan limits.

It's simple to upload and converts quickly. I like that it has an editor in the app and that you can have interactive links in the booklet. I also like that it gives viewers the option to download a pdf version.

I wish you could customize the URL. This is only available with the highest paid plan.

I like the ease of use and the fact that you can edit/replace individual pages with out having to re-load the entire file. Use of links, embed features are big pluses as well.

Print quality, very high utility! It’s packed with all the options you need to make a beautiful one page design or for designing an entire magazine, page by page! This software provide all the tools need to realise the online publications are performing. Very powerful this software!

The user interface is simple and easy to use. Hot boxing images to provide cliackable links to videos and websites is great. Providing readers with the option of downloading or viewing simplified versions is also useful. Having clear statisitcs is also handy so that you can better understand your audience.

Whilst you can build a publication from scratch with only this software, uploading a pdf designed in external programmes (such as InDesign) is better due to the limited design features in comparison. The app for mobiles/tablets is a little limited and could be expanded with more features.

The presentation of our marketing documents – it gives us a professional look and is very easy to use and manage. Being able to add our brand elements such as color, fonts, and logos was really important as well so we can maintain brand consistency if any of our team members were to create their own.

Would love the ability to add a custom domain without having to go into an enterprise plan. We are a small company, so paying the $150/month doesn't make sense, but our brand is still very important.

This gives our small organization a way to upgrade our digital availability for our stakeholders. Options like downloading and printing allows for those who need a physical copy without us incurring the printing cost- so although there is a cost for the upgraded option on Flipsnack, its far less than printing costs.

I would have preferred to know about not being able to change the URL without an additional fee.

The product was easy to setup and integrate functionality and links for CTA processes. We managed to put our library of datasheets together in a few hours too.

The only think was having a limitation on creating new datasheets, but we fully appreciate FLIPSNACK need to make money commercially and in the future we will be looking at paying for additional facilities.

You do not need any previous knowledge of digital layout to get good results

In some cases, the systems is not accurate and the visual design that you create in the project is not exactly the same when you export the final flipbook, getting some mistakes like aditional lines in the design.

Been using flipsnack for over a year. I'm a developer but sometimes things get overly complicated. This literally takes mins to do what could take me 3-4 times longer or more manually.

Fipsnack offers a clean and intuitive administration tool. The PDF edition tools are very powerful and cover all the needs. The viewer interface is high quality, white labeled, and can be easily customized.

It is easy to use, especially if you have some knowledge of Photoshop or similar but even if you don't, you soon pick up how to use it. Any issues, the customer service team get back to you ASAP and are very helpful. Very happy you can now edit a double page and can create a product that looks great and very professional.

The only feature I wished it had was double page editing but they recently added this into the system so I am very happy.

The final product- it's the best version of a "virtual" magazine/catalog that I could imagine. Very pretty and professional. You can customize nearly everything- the background, a "flip" sound, how the pages turn. It's very nice.

It is tricky to use at first, and doesn't feel intuitive. I had to search around for how to add/change/edit something, because it seems like buttons are in different places depending on where you're at in your editing. It took me several tries to figure out how to add pages and where to do so.

I like the ability to customize including images and video for each of the sponsorship decks I produce for clients. To easily change out or add pdfs to the decks is a huge time saver for me, and allows me to be as creative as I would like, without reinventing a deck every time.

As the publisher of a magazine that is both digital and in print, Flipsnack has been great for giving my online readers a true-magazine feel without having to fork over the cash for the print version. I love how classy Flipsnack keeps my magazine. Prior to using Flipsnack, readers were scrolling vertically and it felt much more blog-like. The horizontal feel is much more like a traditional magazine.

Literally the only thing I would change if I could about the software is enable folks to continue to flip through the magazine after zooming in. It is a little cumbersome to zoom in, read, then have to zoom back out to flip the page.

Flipsnack is incredibly user-friendly -- for those creating with it and those consuming content. It's the perfect tool for our nonprofit for making flip-able e-books of things like annual reports and meeting booklets.

The only downside is the limit on catalogues we can make -- but that just means we are using the software more than we expected and probably need to upgrade our subscription!

I would love to create more Flipsnack booklets but the free trial has a limit of 3 and my education budget is limited so I can't afford the upgrade cost at the moment. I have shared my Flipsnack booklets with other teachers do hopefully my school will purchase a license.

This is one of the most efficient software I have used and now my students use it as well. It has easy editing templates, but what I loved, are the viewing options, like reading it as a magazine and it looks very professional, the GIF or PDF, sharing the links to edit, and the many options it give you to edit it or create your new one from scratch. I really wish that it had more shapes, icons, objects to use in the designing process and also to have an option for teams to work on the same project at once.

Even with some issues with updating pages, the software is basically easy to use. I also like that you can organize your pages by uploading them one at a time and the flip/turning feature.

I like difficult changing/updating pages of existing brochures pages. Software would not let me add new PDF image to group had to convert it to a JPG before it would upload and then would not let me place in order that needed to be. I wish it was more affordable for a small company like myself
