The worst page builder for 2023 standards
Is slow, and full of bloated code, you can't customize the blog post 100% without modifying the PHP or, buying a third-party plugin which is also full of bugs and conflicts. I had some conflicts also with divi builder and Yoast Seo. I just don't understand how people review it positively. In 2023 and with solutions like Elementor Pro (which is also bloated and full of bugs, but is not gonna give you that headache) or Oxygen I think this is not acceptable quality.
Avantages
The only thing wich is good for is the design library with ready-to-go landing page.
Inconvénients
Bug, poor speed, bad caching system, is not fully 100% customizable (Blog module especially),

Website builder that you buy because you believe in marketing
I am not a Divi user anymore. I used it for one year, after which I discarded the product and moved to Elementor, which is not much better at all, unfortunately. I have a web developer background and I have used many different software and page builders. Divi is not the one I want to use - unless it evolves into something different. If you plan to buy it, they usually have some good Black Friday deals. But most likely even that will be wasted money.
Avantages
They have some great-looking designs. I like to look at them.
Inconvénients
Usability is not good. The logic is flawed and if you want to make changes to the ready-made templates, it is not as easy as they make you to think.

I chose Divi because it was cheaper. Big mistake. Later I discarded Divi and bought Elementor, but it was an equally big mistake. Overall, I have found Divi to be a pretty frustrating software to use. As a non-technical person, I kept reading that this was the best theme builder for those who don't code. I do not find Divi to be very user-friendly, and many advertised features do not function at the quality I was hoping for.
Avantages
I do like that I can specify post pages so they are all the same across the board, and editing to the template will edit all my posts without me needing to revise each one individually. I also like that I can get support help that seems to be much better than that of WordPress or Bluehost.
Inconvénients
I feel like this software is very glitchy and slow. The drag and drop never works well and editing after I copy and paste my material onto the page is a hassle.

Divi themes - avoid
A nightmare.
So much is locked into this particular web content manager one should really, really think hard about using it, versus more server friendly products which are either cheaper or totally free.
Avantages
Okay, so this was easy to get going. I'd volunteered to assist in revamping a friend's website. It was pretty easy to figure it out.

Okay, where do I start?
It's a webserver resource hog. The server was so bogged down, pages took a very long time to load. I looked at multiple ways to cache and limit reloads, but the theme simply took too long to load even the simplest of pages.
You also can't just change the theme. You have to rebuild from scratch , which is what we would up doing. I installed another CMS theme and the site began loading much quicker.

terrible customer service and the software has many issues

the bad service has been a headache, having to wait days for feedback that does not fix my issues
Inconvénients
bad service have to wait days for feedback that doesnt fix the issue than wait days again to see if the ext step help wich often does not

I wouldn't reccomend it
I spent 3-4 months trying to understand Divi and make it work for me, I watched countless tutorials, asked for help in forums but ultimately despite having bought the lifetime package I gave up and moved on with a different builder. I wouldn't recommend it to beginners
Avantages
The possibilities are endless, you can edit your page however you like
Inconvénients
It's hard to design a site that actually works on all devices. Your site might look perfect to you but it will look all twisted on another device. Designing for mobile is incredibly hard, on the preview it looks fine but when I check it on my phone the letters would be all displaced.
On top of it the code is very bloated so your site load is slowed down.
