Traditional and trustful solution for corporative environments
It is my job partner, it protects me along my day without being disturbing. Rarely I see an advice for it or need to take a manual action, and it stills there, doing its good job. I recommend it, for sure!
Avantages
In our company we use it for all the employees. Our IT department has full control over adjustments of all the installations. Employees don't need to worry about scheduled scannings, updatings, fine tunning or anything else. Its pre installed on all the machines and is there to protect, not to disturb. Its awesome!
Inconvénients
What can be a pro in one hand, can also be a con in the other hand. The way it works on client machines, by being configured by IT department and not locally may cause some troubles. You just can't set an action different than quarantine a suspect object. But we all know that sometimes it can be a bad judgment from the antivirus side, like a driver for Android that I needed to install and it was classified as unknown source and therefore didn't allowed me to proceed with installation. At least an option to ignore the object could be better.

Essential Base protection for Small businesses
The price is really reasonable and the fact that you can centrally manage makes it better than independent Anrivirus. If you are moving from self managed antivirus youll really appreciate.
Avantages
Low price, central update, and simplified user agent interface makes it do its job as required
Inconvénients
Uninstalling is a pain, recovering password is worse, and the agent has a noticeable impact on resources for low spec machines

Symantec End-Point Security
We were very satisfied with it once it was moved to a cloud based offering as opposed to an on-site server base. But once purchased by Broadcom, the changes in how it had to be renewed thru a reseller and the growing complexity of it, forced us to switch.
Avantages
Highly Configurable, thus allowing rules to be added for exceptions or exclusions to programs that we needed to trust.
Inconvénients
Became extremely complex and harder to renew once purchased by Broadcom several years back.

A Longtime User of Symantec
I have had nothing but a positive experience. It does what it is supposed to with no issues whatsoever.
Avantages
I have had this protection on my personal laptop for years. It was easy to install, updates automatically and renews automatically. I have updated my laptop a few times since installing it and it was also extremely simple to transfer over to each new laptop. This is basically a set it and forget it software. In the many years I’ve used it, I’ve never had a malware issue. It’s great value for service.
Inconvénients
I don’t have any cons to list here. This software is extremely effective.

Great anti-virus software!
I'm using Symantec Endpoint Protection at my office computer and I am more than satisfied!
Avantages
Symantec Endpoint Protection is a great tool to protect my computer against threats and viruses. It works great with my browser when trying to open a new website.
Inconvénients
There is nothing that I like least about Symantec Endpoint Protection since it protects my computer daily.

Affordable business protection
Works well, I would suggest giving it a try and determine for yourself, with these solutions feel its really a matter of personal preference sometimes.
Avantages
It came with some of the new machines we were buying so we decided to actually give it a try and not give up too quickly and put some of the other solutions on we are more focused to use. It ended up working well for the time we used it.
Inconvénients
Some other services out there that I feel allow you to do and it does a whole lot more. After trying other solutions carried on using them instead.

Low on resources,high on protection
We regularly get our devices checked with Symantec and we are using it for deep dive virus and malware protection. SEPM configurations have been quiet handy for our security team. Also who will avoid getting a professional support from Symantec team.
Avantages
Opening task manger you can see that there is single process running for Symantec, hence it is very low on resources consumption. It provides many functionalities in a single bundle. It protects most endpoint devices by offering simple features. It gives upgrade whenever we have a need which means that we are always protected. We don't have to do much configurations as the default serves better. But still if we need any configurations we can do them.
Inconvénients
I don't like the prompts for password time and again. The management should be possible from local as well as web based console.

one strong antivirus for windows
really good antivirus and protection tool, you can use on a network so is transparent for the users installed and used

It's a really good antivirus and first defense, integrating also a firewall it can be used on the network and keep your PC protected
Inconvénients
it could slow your PC and some of the updates requires a restart, the firewall is good but sometimes it block everything

Symantec Endpoint Protection
Great!! I have used different protections over the years and found some to be cumbersome to your firewall or to some programs you use once in a while but with Symantec, I do not have any trouble with my existing or new software on my PC. It doesn't slow me down a bit. Great job on this version . . works great!
Avantages
The best part about this software . . it's like having a big brother watching over you all the time. It runs in the background. And now a days, having something automatic is great. Trying to remember all of your typical day to day tasks is hard enough. Great job on this design. Let's you know right away if you are not protected or if an "intruder" is attempting to do something bad. Easy to install and easy to use.
Inconvénients
Cons . . hmm . . well . . I guess knowledge is the downfall. The description of the 'medium' threats is pretty basic. Not sure if I should be concerned or not but overall, if this thing is on . . I am not worried! :) So Cons is a tough to write about.

Having various features and protection of network makes is best sutiable to use.
Use this tool for business purposes.
Avantages
The endpoint protection is helps us to protect all the network connectivity and protect them. You can schedule the timing according to that scanning will takes place. Various features like check logs and live updates makes one of the best protection tool available.
Inconvénients
Some of the updates are automatic , i think users should have options to handle that. Using this after various times i realize that it takes lots of resources of system , other than that i don't think anything more i know .

Overall, I am happy with Symantec Endpoint protection software as it's being used in lot of companies with licensed version to provide industry standard security from viruses and other network threats.
Avantages
1) Excellent industry standard Anti Virus software which is easy to use.
2) In addition to virus, it's very good to prevent from malware or spyware protection.
Inconvénients
1) There is no free version. After trial version, have to buy the paid version which seems little costly.
2) Sometimes not clear whether it found the virus or spyware.

Avantages
I am in love this product it has proactive approach in detecting threat i.e. it provides advanced protection against unknown threats.
This software do deep scanning for viruses, malware and spyware detection.
Also, it provides live updates and hence help in detecting latest threats to the system.
Inconvénients
The only backdrop is its cost.
For smaller organisations it is bit costly but is cost effective for larger organisations.

Best Antivirus as compared to other available in market.
Make things go more viral and do some awareness programs in metro cities of India. Increase easily available product via net and local vendors.
Avantages
It is the best antivirus for Servers.
It has best managibility for users.
It works really silently.
Inconvénients
As usual it slows down Server by 10% compared to other at 5-6%.
Why all updates are not automatic updates, everytime we have to do virus definition update manually.
Few features are there which can be made more user friendly.

Great Security Product
Avantages
Use for malware protection and it detects everything. Never had an issue with malware since installing Endpoint. Runs in the background and does its job.
Inconvénients
The speed of scanning files and websites can be faster. Sometimes my computer will be slow due to endpoint eating up its resources.
