Solves a buisness need

It has been great, our rep is helpful and responsive, and our build times have been quick. [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] is a great rep.

Avantages

Product is fairly easy to use, and allowed us to launch in platform on-boarding among other things in our style painlessly.

Inconvénients

Can be a bit buggy to use, and we have not seen as much traction on the onboarding flows as we would like, but that is not on appcues.

This tool is a godsend!

Avantages

We use the Appcues chrome extension a lot as well as the flow builder. This allows me at the drop of dime to start sketching out meaningful ways to communicate with our users, right on the page that I intend it to be show. Incredible, useful smart and creative tool! We love the metrics we get each of our flows, we love the targeting capability and clean design as well. This is a winner.

Inconvénients

No branching logic when creating forms. Adding analytics to help measure user conversion via these modals would be sweet!

Build "choose your own adventure" flows for onboarding customers

Great team, great product, easy to use. Overall a very positive experience!

Avantages

Appcues is fantastic, it's easy to setup and create flows for customers to onboard with. We've set up several "choose your own adventure" style onboarding flows. This way our customers can get to the information they want quickly, and also they have a way to come back and learn more later. With this approach they discover new functionality and use-cases for our product, which increases stickiness over time.

Inconvénients

I've provided their team with feedback, and they improved it, nothing further to add for our use-cases.

Avantages

Ease of use and helpful how to materials. Also that I had to use very little of our developer time.

Analytics is bit basic to get quick reports. CSV export helps bit.

Easy to Use and Helps Drive Greater User Engagement

We have a complex product with a number of different features and steps for set-up. Appcues helps us guide our customers through this process and allows our customer experience team to make improvements as we see the need for them.

Avantages

I like how intuitive it is to use! I like that when I want to make improvements to how my customers start engaging with the product, I can do that without going to my product team.

Inconvénients

I don't have a lot of cons here. It was difficult to get set up at first because we were used to a different product, but that's pretty normal. Now the whole team finds it user friendly.

A powerful tool for getting your users to your aha moment

Avantages

Appcues is great for tweaking and experimenting with user onboarding flows and pushing users to that critical aha moment. Without appcues, the amount of engineering time required to experiment on a weekly, fortnightly or monthly basis would be un-doable for a relatively small company.

I've also been really impressed the with the extent and quality of the softwares features. You have a lot of flexibility and control for different parts of user onboarding.

Inconvénients

Nothing so far. Appcues has served us incredibly well.

Great product and customer service

Appcues has been great and I feel it is a worthwhile investment for any startup or Saas product that could benefit from increased user adoption.

Avantages

Intuitive and easy to use even for non-tech savvy people. Gives Sales an opportunity to control in-app communication, rather than depending on engineering. There's also a ton of helpful resources - both personalized training and a large blog/support center.

Inconvénients

The segmentation settings can be a bit confusing at times.

Easy to use, easy to implement, great UI and getting better

Avantages

Appcues is cost effective, ease of use and they are continually making improvements to the platform.

Inconvénients

Appcues can be a tiny bit buggy at times but it's improving week by week. I find making changes to style templates to a group of flows can time consuming- it has to be done one flow at a time.

Such a cool way to onboard or train customers!

Avantages

This is a great product that is easy to use and customize for your team and software. It makes the onboarding process so much easier!

Inconvénients

The only thing is that it is time intensive at the front end to make sure you get it set up correctly, but it is worth it!

Appcues - easy way to make your product easy to use

I love it, and I hope more people in my company start using it soon.

Avantages

The most important part of Appcues is that it enables my customers to figure out things by themselves, it is about empowering the user and reducing the need for long and personal onboardings, it is the tool to make the average [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] knowledgeable in complicated technology.

Inconvénients

The price is relatively high, so you better make sure you are using it to recover your investment.

The perfect software to engage with your users

As a product-led company, we want our product to be the major growth lever for our business. The end-game is having a product that represents itself. Appcues allows us to do just that.

Avantages

It is highly intuitive to use. And allows you to engage with your users and guide them through your software. We for instance wouldn’t have thought of offering a free trial without Appcues.

Inconvénients

The reporting can be improved. You now only see aggregate data and not stats of individual users.

Expensive software but extremely valuable for user onboarding

Overall great experience, will be using in the future when budget is approved for this product.

Avantages

Appcues is THE best tool for product managers to drive feature adoption and simply onboarding for new users.

Inconvénients

Appcues is great, the only issue is the cost. It's very expensive especially for startups, that usually need the help of Appcues to make up for shortcomings in UX of their products.

Great option for user onboarding

Excellent onboarding experience with great content (help center and appcues academy).
It's easy to use and we can launch several flows per week with no developers involved.

Avantages

It is very easy to use once you've implemented the script.
You can personalized the tooltips and modales.

Inconvénients

The builder can be slow and a bit buggy.
The flow itself on our website is also a bit slow - and does not work if your customers has an ad-blocker installed.

Powerful little tool

We haven't launched it yet, but we hope to cut down on trouble tickets and customer support phone calls.

Helps in growth and storming phases

Marketing, clarity, training in using our products, announcements, and surveys. It's a gamechanger.

Avantages

I like that when we make a change in our portal and there is a glitch I can just pop over to Appcues and send everyone that goes to that page an alert. I also use it in training and marketing efforts. It's amazing.

I don't struggle with Appcues in any way. It's very easy to use and straightforward.

Best onboarding tool of all times

Even if it still has a ways to improve, it is still the beat onboarding toll I ever used.

Avantages

- helps with the onboarding process of the new users into our system, allowing them to easily understand the complex workflows and UI elements we have on the screens;
- it is straightforward tool where you will have to involve developer once - on the stage of integration (and the effort itself is not huge) - and then other anyone on the team can create beautiful flows;

Inconvénients

- they way it interacts with any iframes you in your web application - for any microfrontends you use - you will need to integrate it within the application;
