Con la recente acquisizione di Redshift (e di Red Giant), Cinema 4D è diventato il vero e proprio standard di produzione 3D, con una potenza ed un realismo davvero di grande impatto. Le funzionalità che integra (Mograph, Dynamics, etc.) si arricchiscono di anno in anno rendendo le possibilità di animazione, rendering e simulazione davvero infinite.

Inconvénients

Spesso può capitare qualche crash del software. Questo forse è dovuto a qualche versione meno stabile, e potrebbe causare perdite di dati. L'importante, come in qualsiasi lavoro informatico, è sempre salvare i progetti con cadenza di 5 minuti.

I have been using Maxon Cinema 4D for creating 3D models and have found many benefits to using this software. First, it is easy to learn and use with its intuitive and well-organized user interface. Second, it offers a wide variety of modeling, animation and rendering tools that allow you to create detailed and realistic 3D scenes. The physical simulation and rigid body dynamics tools are also very useful for adding realistic motion and interaction to my models. Finally, the software can be extended with plugins to add even more functionality and flexibility to my workflow.

Inconvénients

The high cost of Maxon Cinema 4D software may be a barrier for me, especially as a beginner in 3D modeling. The modeling tools may not be as advanced as other 3D software I have used, which can be a drawback when creating complex models. Finally, I may find the user interface and navigation of the software a bit complex at first due to the large number of features available.

Cinema 4D si dimostra uno dei software per produzione 3D tra i migliori in circolazione. Ogni anno le novità sono molte e le migliorie non mancano mai. Il supporto agli utenti è uno dei punti di forza del prodotto. L'interfaccia di lavoro è utile in ogni suo aspetto, anche se un po' macchinosa per chi è alle prime armi.

Inconvénients

Qualche crash del sistema in diverse occasioni, specialmente quando si renderizzano scene più pesanti e difficoltose per il pc. L'interfaccia di lavoro potrebbe essere migliorata e resa più fruibile anche da chi non ha dimestichezza con programmi 3D.

3D is hard to learn, if you want to make your life easier you should be good at math, otherwise you're going to struggle a little bit. Saying that, Cinema 4D does make it easier, is the easiest to learn than other 3d modeling programs we've tried.

So far nothing, I really like they add a lite version for those who use after effects, that brought me here.

Cinema 4D is much user friendly than some of the other 3D software on the market. The software comes with many presets to enable your work to flow more efficiently. It is not only great for animation but also graphic design and motion graphics. Mograph with cloner allows you to replicate models at a fast speed saving you precious time.

Cinema 4D is around $1000 which is expensive but if you are a student or teacher you may obtain the education version. Also Cinema 4D lite comes with Adobe After Effects. Cinema 4D may also be purchased from Maxon by monthly subscription for $95 or their bundle with z-brush for $150.

Mi piace molto le sue varie funzionalità, ha diverse interfacce grafiche in base a quello che si sta facendo, io uso principalmente Base, Animate, Sculpt e UV Paint. Davvero interessante l'utilizzo delle texture, librerie davvero importanti che sono modificabili direttamente dal programma senza l'uso di altri supporti.

Inconvénients

Sarebbe molto carino avere un'interfaccia per il disegno 2D vettoriale di preparazione al 3D. Sarebbe molto comodo

I am motion graphic designer, I find this software very fast easy for dynamic animation. You can make complex dynamics in few clicks and modify them easily. Rendering is also good and the best part is that you can export whole scene for composting.

well sometime I find little issues with its camera but its good so far.

Ottimo software per la creazione di video, anche a livello professionale. Il programma presenta un interfaccia utente piuttosto ben fatta, anche se non molto intuitiva, richiede sicuramente del tempo per poter capire al meglio tutte le funzioni e i tool disponibili. Possiede inoltre numerosissimi template e transizioni da poter aggiungere ai propri video.

C4D is one of the best programs i worked with its super easy to use, fast, have a lot of amazing texture effects animation tricks . Also you can merge or import any designs or vectors from illustrator or photoshop. I made amazing videos animations and videos with C4D11

sometimes it become slow when adding a lot of objects and textures also it take a lot of time in rendering per frame and some times the video turns out with medium not high resolution. finally you have to import this final vid to another software to add sound effects.

Cinema 4D is a software package that is primarily intended to cooperate and work with Adobe applications, however it can be used as an independent animation and even videography software. My personal experience is in utilizing it as a plugin for animation presets for After Effects. The tooling and layout are similar to that of other videography software so for someone with intermediate knowledge/experience navigation will be no issue. This software is not for beginners, although they have a lite version available for those just starting out/want to test the product!

Inconvénients

The primary drawback I found was in the tab management. In a situation where you have more than one animation open at once (almost always the case in video editing/creation) unlike adobe where your projects are tabbed in a visible place, Cinema 4D does not have the same feature. Although the other layers are open and live, it is difficult to switch between them as you have to use the menu bar to open the other live asset.
