Adobe XD

Avantages

Adobe XD offers several seamlessly integrated features that are so fluid that one can easily get lost in them. However, the feature I like the most is the Prototyping feature, which allows me to easily create prototypes by linking and adding interactive elements for transitions and more.

Inconvénients

So far, I haven't found any negatives with Adobe XD because I am a new user. I have been using it for only 4 months.

Avantages

I like the fact that Adobe XD is easy to use and the android app version helps to further monitor and view ones design on the go.

Inconvénients

The only thing I wish at the moment from Adobe XD is for the Android app version to be able to do a bit of editing ones design apart from just viewing.

Avantages

Adobe allows you to present your vision and ideas in a simple way - it is very intuitive and easy to work with. With components you can design an element and use it multiple times in project - if you need to change sth it will adjust throughout your project. Great for prototyping and usability tests

It is hard to collaborate with your team mates in real time.

Avantages

The fact that it has now acquired Figma is a huge relief. Because Figma was really powerful and now Adobe Xd will be too!

XD is pretty much similar to other design tools. I like the fact that you can organize all te design elements and create a design system and share it across developers and designers.

Inconvénients

I feel it’s slightly old while using it.
Features like changing the font and colors globally across all screens which Figma supports aren’t provided in XD. So, designing screens becomes hectic at times.

The software dashboard is really easy to use. With Adobe XD you can create stunning and beautiful designs for your websites and apps. Between different elements, you can create animations. You can share the design with your friends, team, and clients so they can check your design expertise and they can give feedback to you. You can also export your designs for the After effects.

Inconvénients

No doubt, Adobe XD is one of the best Adobe products. According to my experience, there should be more external additional plugins for the beginners, so they can easily apply a lot of more things. Even these plugins can be useful for advanced users. I really love and like all other features of Adobe XD.

Avantages

There are so many widgets and tools that Adobe XD provides users with ease of use while designing. It makes the whole process really easy. From wireframing and creating a rough prototype of the app, to creating animations and interactions between the different frames. There are so many widget packs that are included in the software itself so you can freely choose from those. The data syncing feature is one of my favorites as it allows more than 1 person to edit at a time. It is especially useful when we are syncing work between multiple colleagues since it helps to ensure everyone is looking at the latest version of work. I used Adobe XD to create multiple prototypes and prototyping is a feature that I use most frequently.

Inconvénients

I think that overall while the software was easy to use, there are still so many undiscovered features that are not shown in the tutorials included unless you research much deeper. I think if there was a more detailed navigation bar or tutorial it would have been better.

Avantages

I liked the overall features this product provided for our document processing. It made it very easy to eSign and convert to pdf.

The software lagged quite often. It made the work day stressful with constant freezing.

XD is not overloaded with features, but it does exactly what I need when designing a user interface. Because it has a specific use, it was designed to execute those tasks as well as possible. Alignment, styling, and sizing are all very efficient for designing UIs. The preview and prototyping features are also wonderful additions. The area to point type buttons are a great addition, which I would like to see in every Adobe product.

Inconvénients

Only minor things come to mind when thinking about the Cons of Adobe XD. I wish the colour picker would sample the colour beneath the guides when they are turned on. The simplistic nature of the tools could be a negative point for some people, but I think it adds to the strength of the program.

The abilities with Adobe XD are almost endless, and because it is getting updated for more and more functionality all of the time. There are other products like this from other companies but I think that Adobe (though they were late in the game) have topped the list in terms of what it can do.

I was very surprised when I started using this program because I am an Adobe user, everything I do design-wise is with Adobe software, but this one was one of the most difficult to learn. I can't even tell you why, I felt like it shouldn't have been but I had a difficult time really getting into any sort of workflow. I am good now but that took much longer than I anticipated.

I am a beginner in UI designing but getting started was a lot easier with XD. Can work with multiple users on the same document. Can generate a link to show your designs and make it easy for developers to getting started with the code.

There is no web application available to edit and make changes to your document and designs on the go.

Adobe XD is a free designing and prototyping tool user interfaces. Adobe XD has a simple user interface that anyone can easily adapt and start working without spending too much time. Toolkits for various user interfaces and platforms are available free on the internet which helps in creating an user interface quick as a beginner. Prototyping tool in Adobe XD is can be used to show how the app will look in an almost real situation with animating.

Adobe XD is a good free product that doesn't have major flaws to complain.

Repeat the grid is one of the basic functions of this Adobe program, with the help of which it is possible to easily duplicate and multiply the already set content structures, with unforeseen configuration of the distance between objects and line, text size, colors and other elements. I like this.

Inconvénients

Switching from screen to screen in Adobe XD is in some ways difficult, as it involves moving the entire screen along with open navigation.

Avantages

I love that it’s easy to collaborate with this software. A lot of people can contribute to the same project all at once and when you are in the middle of brainstorming and the momentum is going that is so helpful to be more productive and to come to a finished product more quickly.

Inconvénients

I have found it to be a tad glitchy. I’m not sure if the issue is with my computer or the software but when I am in it every once in a while it will freeze on me. I have to get out and go back in. It’s annoying but sporadic enough that it hasn’t become too much of a problem.

Creating prototypes has never been easier. You just download free template kits for a device you are prototyping for and copy and paste it into a new project. I literally spent 15 minutes prototyping new Android app and I can tell you that I have never even imagined that it could be done so fast. There are a lot of tutorials on the internet but in designing is creativity most important. With Adobe XD everything you imagine you can instantly transform into the prototype. You no longer need to spend hours in Photoshop or any other image processing program. Everything is available in Adobe XD with just a few clicks. And what is the best? You can create interactive prototypes and connect multiple designs to create a mini app almost instantly. The feature I love the most is sharing with teammates. You just create a link, share it to your team, they open a link, preview design without having to install anything, comment to me, I make changes, push changes and I it automatically changed in their link. Works almost like magic!

Inconvénients

When I first install this app I couldn't get it working. I thought it was something wrong with my computer but when I Googled my problem of crashing the blank screen I saw that a lot of people have this problem. I tried to do many things that were suggested but even recommended things from Adobe official website didn't help. The problem was that I needed to manually restart the computer. I know, ridiculously trivial! But I spent literally 2 hours trying to open the app. All they needed to add is restart now prompt when the installer is finished or at least gave me some warning.

I love how easy to use this software is, it overlaps very strongly with other Adobe products like Indesign or Illustrator which makes the learning curve very small.

It isn't 100% intuitive, if you have never used an adobe application it'll take a regular amount of time to learn to use XD (BUT once you do you'll have a primer for learning other adobe software)

Avantages

Adobe XD is an amazing tool for showcasing interactions for app development. I find that the user interface is fairly intuitive for those who are familiar with other Adobe programs. The biggest pro to XD has to be the ability to rapidly prototype a concept and you have the option to put as much time into the looks as you need and leave the program to handle the functionality.

Inconvénients

One con I have with Adobe XD is that I find the list of animations to be limiting and I can't seem to get them to work on preview, which leaves me explaining animations to clients instead of showing them.

This is undoubtedly one of the best software created by Adobe, I can use all my creativity and develop my ideas doing project simulation, the software helps me with the visualization of my prototypes in real time, which makes everything more realistic, besides the option of saving in the cloud to be very innovative and complete, something I imagine to be the promising future of technology, and adobe is always ahead, I recommend it with my eyes closed.

Inconvénients

The software has many functions and I'm still discovering them all, I still haven't been able to use the dynamic visualization functionality, I believe the option could be more intuitive, it doesn't indicate any errors, I just couldn't use it.

Adobe XD is a very powerful UX/UI tool. The ability to create and share an entire web experience is amazing. Colors, fonts, buttons, content, images and the works!

There isn't anything I could say I didn't like about Adobe XD actually. I haven't used it long enough to find any bugs apparently. It's quite a powerful tool and is a necessity for prototyping entire web experiences.

Feature that I found to be most impactful is the great compatibility with the other design products that our large design team uses.
I would rate the ease of use of this product as slightly difficult to use as there is a learning curve to make use of all features and also plug-in integrations.
The integration into our existing business processes was totally seamless for presenting visual concepts and wireframes.

Inconvénients

I can't think of anything that could be improved so far just it has alot of features to figure out for practical use.
The process that was difficult to use was figuring out the linkage of the artboards when needing to edit wireframes.
The integration into existing business processes was not difficult because I discovered it is offered as part of our team's Creative Suite package.

A worthy competitor to Sketch, since XD is supported on multiple platforms. Very feature rich too
