good cmms system works as it should

Fiix is a fairly good cmms system the setup and instruction was very good, getting my engineers on board is a little harder.

Avantages

importing our asset list in from excel was a great help once you understand how to do it

Inconvénients

not being able to import our stores in from excel. typing everything in one line at a time is taking forever.

move to fixx

switched to this from another product and like this one much better

Avantages

so very easy to use dont have to type in a million different boxes

Fiix Yourself

We have only had Fiix now for approximately 8 months. To say I am still learning things about Fiix daily would be an understatement. I love the program and everything it entails. Not to mention they are so very happy to help as needed.

Avantages

All of it's capabilities within either a departmental aspect or a company.

Inconvénients

The lack of features within the cycle count section of the program.

FIIX for Maintenance

Only as good as the people using it. Some do not use as they should.

Avantages

This program is easy to use for the most part.

Inconvénients

A few things could be improved as in changing location of products

The Ease and Functionality of Fiix

Thrilled with Fiix. It has transformed our timeliness and tracking of work requests for the production floor. Our up time has improved and the reports and graphs that can be generated really detail out the application of Fiix for our plant. Great Product!!

Avantages

Fiix software has a been a game changer for our manufacturing location. Its ease of use and implementation allowed us to get up to speed quickly and get our production team on board within just a few short weeks. The QR code scan to enter work orders makes it so easy for anyone to submit requests for all kinds of reasons from safety to breakdowns.

Inconvénients

Would like to be able to include more than one picture with the work request after using the QR code to generate the work request. Also, would like to see a fast way to generate an asset list from the asset inventory.

A Nice End To The Day

Avantages

Fiix is very easy to use and easy to communicate my day through my daily report, we all need this at the end of a 12 hour shift. Tabs are easy to access, visible, and there is no misleading text. No matter the time of day and I am assuming at heavier traffic times, the software never slows or has delays. I also feel quite safe using the software with required password changes every month. I would recommend Fiix to any worker that has to complete a report of their assigned tasks.

Inconvénients

For some months, Fiix was rather slow at any time of the day. This was resolved after a survey of the software's recent performance. Tablets also tend have a slower time on the software but this could be the tablets performance and specs.

My Experience with FIIX CMMS Software

FIIX has helped me to keep track of Asset Register, Maintenance Record and manage my buffer stores spare parts inventory. This has led to Asset Reliability improvements for our Business.

Avantages

It is user friendly in work order process cycle , Planned Maintenance setup and Stores spare part management

Inconvénients

Building of customised report is not so easy

Avantages

Great for ease of use. Have some options we really like. Good product

Inconvénients

The way Asset # are assigned and the ease to find parts. It is two fold out entries have to be correct but it should be selectable.

In terms of asset codes, we automatically generate codes based on when the asset is added, but we recommend that users assign their own codes to assets. You can use a unique asset code to reflect how you organize assets internally. If you're interested in updating your asset codes, your Customer Success Manager will be able to help you with this.

Good Product - Needs Time to Learn

All of our PMs and calibrations are managed through this as well as asset management. We couldn't do it without FIIX.

Avantages

This product can get your inventory, purchasing, maintenance, repair, and management of assets all on the same page. Costs can be reported, maintenance & PM are managed and audited, and the architecture allows good naming of locations and tracking.

Inconvénients

It is so capable that it really takes some time to understand how to set up all of the functions. Don't sell yourself short and just jump in - take the time to learn all of the features and how to use them to avoid a lot of setup mistakes.

Ease of use. Some of the less computer savvy individuals on our team were able to pick up the software and start using it very quickly.

Inconvénients

The app is lacking some of the useful features that the desktop version offers.

Very Versatile and easy to use

I manage a 700,000 Sq. ft. / 130 Acre Distribution campus as well as several smaller satellite facilities. While only using for a short time, Maintenance Assistant has helped us get our PM's, Parts and priority work organized. It's very user friendly and is feature rich.

Avantages

Very Flexible, lots of features. Nested PM's, BOMs and barcodes, and file storage related to the asset are among my favorite features.

Inconvénients

Mobile App does not work well, frequently crashes when scanning barcodes. When viewing a part you should have the option to charge to WO from the part screen. Would be nice to have expiration dates for vendor docs, just as employee records do.

Very easy to use once you have spent some time learning all the features. I like the capability of setting up planned maintenance item of our facility has really helped track planned maintenance

Avantages

Very simple to use once you practice a few times. Very easy after that.

On rare occasions, was not able to log-in. It may have been our connection though.

Maintenance Assistant is a great resource.

Interaction with the software and support staff has been very user friendly. The support group regularly check to ensure everything is working properly and if there are any issues/improvements that they can assist with. I highly recommend this product.

Identification of some of the reports is a little confusing.

Good maintenance software

Every one likes it in this business. Give it a try, I think you will love it. It is fast and easy to undertsnad.

MA CMMS Software

MA CMMS is a great software to use. Very simple to set everything up and use. Had our plant up and running on it in a couple days.

Great Value

I decided to install NetSuite even though we are a small company with only one shift of production and on maintenance tech. We are able to track all PM as well labor and parts for our equipment.

Not able to use with NetSuite unless everything is in NetSuite. I would like to be able to use with NetSuite when all the information is already in CMMS.

Its alright.

Use to place work orders for inventory and maintenance departments.
