Good software for small business

Avantages

Once we were setup, it is relatively simple to process salaries. There's also lots of other features you can use Xero for, although we tend to stick with the basic ones!

Inconvénients

It's a little convoluted and difficult to setup.

The Best Accounting Software out there.

Avantages

The prices plans are very competitively priced and the 30 day free trial is very useful. It also allows to add unlimited users and clients.

Inconvénients

On the lowest priced plan only the quotes and invoices are limited to 20 per month. Multiple currencies only available for highest subscription tier.

Xero Review

A great software, monitor work being widely useful and allowing users to work remotely could be the key points. Having a detailed view on the financial situation, also performing all accounting tasks are nicely done.

Avantages

It automates the processes and saves time, A vividly intuitive Dashboard, displaying the date snapshot of the business when logged in. Integration with other cloud based software enhances this software

Inconvénients

Some feature do need a big update, and a few automation processes got glitches, also customer support can be improved as well

Excellent Experience With Xero

Xero is a great accounting software. I have had no significant issues with its functionality, and the customer service team is always available to answer any questions I have. The features have allowed me to effectively track and manage my income and expenses.

Avantages

Working with Xero has been a great experience! The interface is user-friendly, and the software has allowed me to stay on top of my financials efficiently. I now am able to easily track transactions, receive accurate financial statements, and generate detailed reports.

Inconvénients

The cost of Xero can be quite expensive depending on the type of subscription one needs. The services they offer are enough to justify the expense, but there definitely needs to adjustments to make the software more cost effective.

Almost A Home Run

Xero integrates nicely with many CRMs (that's up to the CRM), but it really shines in basic double-entry accounting, allowing you to match transactions like Quickbooks does but with a more streamlined interface.

There are two huge problems (at least for me) that I've suggested they address: 1) the email that gets sent as a cover when you send an invoice to a customer is awful. Just black text on a white background. No customization offered, no company logo, no nothing. This has been requested by users for 3 years, and their feedback is that it is low priority at best. 2) If you use alternative payment gateways like PayPal or Stripe, which you can with Xero, you have to create separate invoice templates. So, if you send one to a customer thinking they like PayPal, they don't know they can use Stripe and when they complain, you say "Oh, I can...", and you void the invoice and resend the Stripe one. Silly and not customer-focused.

I thought I'd solve all this by moving to Freshbooks. They fix both of those problems. But...they don't do double-entry accounting. You can only reconcile your bank EXPENSES, but not your income items. Sigh.

So, for now at least, I use both. Xero to generate everything, and Freshbooks to send the invoice. Both of them play nice with my CRM and I can use Zapier to auto-create the Freshbooks customer after I create them in Xero.

Simplifying daily processes with effective results

Very positive, Xero has assisted with streamlining business processes and makes normally time consuming bookkeeping tasks quick and efficent to undertake

Avantages

Xero helps the user simplify and streamline daily processes to increase output and efficiency. I really like the Xero app and cloud platform and the intuative functions such as receipt snap and upload save a lot of time.

Inconvénients

Aside from the occasional connection problems with the bank feed it is hard to find fault with the software

The Best Accounting Software!

I run guest services through this program from emails, letter templates, invoices, and payments.

Avantages

This software is the best accounting software I have used. It is user friendly! It has cut my bookkeeping time down by half. Absolutely fantastic!

I haven't found a snag yet.

A great way to sort out the accounting books .

Avantages

Xero is a great way to put some order in your finances. It smooths the process of getting paid and I especially like how intuitive the invoice issuing system is .

Inconvénients

The cost makes it prohibitive for small businesses and Xero is also hard to learn

Xero is a wonderful accounting software for small and medium enterprises

Avantages

Xero has been super helpful to our business as it has provided us with accounting templates for invoicing, purchases, and expense claims. It is easy to use, with our entire employee base engaging the software for their expense claims. Employees can track the status of their claims and see it move through the funnel.

Inconvénients

Customer support is not that great. Response time from the Xero team can be slow at times. In a startup environment where we need decisions to be made ASAP, this can be a bit of a bummer.

One stop shop for your accounting needs .

Avantages

Everything accounting related that needs to be done ,Xero can do .Once we set it up it revolutionized our "Accounts Payable" process . The reports it generates are easy to read and clear and it can be accessed by multiple users .

Inconvénients

While it can also be used by beginners (after a training ) ,Xero is probably best left to the professionals due to how hard more detailed tasks can become .

Does what we need it to -- integrates with our other financial apps

We opted for Xero after using another accounting software product for 18 months. We have not regretted that decision since!

Avantages

We went with Xero because it integrated with our other financial apps
Quickbooks was our original accounting software, but we switched when we found Xero; it seemed to be more user friendly than Quickbooks

Inconvénients

Our previous account software offered a much better native app product. Xero is convenient for the cloud-based service, but I (sometimes) miss the native app functionality of Quickbooks.
