Fantastic and helpful

My partner and I had just started a business in January, and we were in need of some assistance for a CRM that worked in a multitude of ways for sales and prospecting. I signed up for the free trial and have loved the program ever since. It is aesthetically pleasing and very functional. I mainly use it for emailing, but it's great to track notes, calls, and tons of other information as well! Close.io has a search function that is customizable to nth degree. It makes searching for any kind of leads you want very easy.

Avantages

I am very pleased with more than just the program itself. I am very pleased with the interest taken from Close.io employees/members itself. I was sent emails asking how things were going to make sure that everything was going smoothly on my end. Having that kind of interest in their product and their customers who are using the product is one of the big reasons I ultimately decided to go with Close.io instead of searching or trying another sales CRM.

The best CRM for small-team sales pros

Close is very cool because setting up a personalized workflow & follow-up sequence got me focused on what I need to do next without wasting mental energy on figuring it all out anew every week.

Avantages

I can search my database by notes I've made, or specific actions like calls on a certain date. And, then set up a workflow & follow-up sequence accordingly.

Inconvénients

Setting up a personalized workflow & follow-up sequence takes a long time, but once it's done, it saves lots of time. The email marketing feature needs improvement.

Close.io simple, easy to use & saves tons of time

I've used a few CRM programs and Close.io is amazing in how simple and easy it is to use. Time is everything and this program saves you tons of time with access to everything in a few clicks.

Avantages

The calling within the app is very slick and saves you a ton of time dialing.
The recording of calls made, emails & notes all in one place allows you to see where your stand with your client in one view
I look forward to testing out their new 'Inbox' feature

Inconvénients

No iOS app for mobile. So if you are on the road a lot, this may not be the best fit.

Easy to use

I have started using Close.io recently and I am very glad I chose it. It is easy to use, you can track your progress with your leads as all information is on one place. I love the inbox part, where only emails or tasks that you haven't solved are in front of you and you simply cannot miss them. You can put a task in your calendar to do a certain thing at some point in the future and it pops at that time as a reminder.
You can prepare different templates and just apply the suitable one. It was never this easy to send an email.
Calls are great addition. You don't need to pick up the phone and dial, just press one button and you are already on the line. And all that is going on inside your chosen lead. That is great plus!

This company is going places

I gotta say Steli, his team, and product are world class.

From day 1, any issues I've had with the platform, the support team jumps into action mode. Just the other day I had one of our reps delete an ENTIRE field on accident and one of their engineers fixed the issue in less than 30 mins. That's pure dedication.

If you're in sales and are looking for a plug and play CRM, look no further - Close.io FTW!

Avantages

The whole platform is pretty slick. It's got all the features you're gonna need to track deal flow.

Inconvénients

I dont have anything negative to say about close.io except that the filteration of the leads could be done a little better. I'm sure the engineers are working around the clock for smarter features though.

Best option out there

I've used Close.io at both of my companies for very different purposes. It's fantastic how it tracks everything for you, it includes really powerful searching, and has some really nice features like reminders and an inbox of tasks. There are a handful of things that don't work quite as well as they could, especially around reporting, but it's updated regularly and just keeps getting better.

Close is great for startup sales but lacks some simple features

Overall it's been a good but not great experience. The basics are covered for a CRM but some what seems like basic features are still missing.

Avantages

I love the automated email sequences to help with my outbound prospecting efforts. This enables me to 'set it and forget it" to ensure proper follow up is happening with prospects.

Inconvénients

I don't like that you can't map specific email chains to specific opportunities. Furthermore, you can't upload files which is a real drawback and support suggested I just link to google shared drives.

Close.io in a nutshell.

Avantages

The easy to use dashboard to navigate through the tools is fairly easy to use. The thing I like the most about the software is how easy it is to spot, an email, a phone call, and even the ability to do call listening sessions.

Inconvénients

There just has to be a much better way to view information, it seems so cluttered. Yeah they have breaks and labels to separate data, but it is very eye tiring.

The best CRM I've used

Used it daily as a sales rep and it made managing everyone and seeing all communication simple and allowed me to spend less time tinkering and more time closing sales. It does a great job of getting out of the way so you can focus on what's important.

Avantages

So uncomplicated and straightforward to use. CRMs can be a real pain, and this one is a joy.

Inconvénients

Although it's packed with value, it's still pricey compared to competitors. However, if you can do it, I still recommend it.

Simple, intuitive, effective

As a pre-revenue startup with a strong relationship-based sales focus, we opted for Close over competitors. The reason being, Close presents a very simple and easy to use interface at the landing page on their website. Having used complex CRM systems that don't integrate with phone/email/web, Close is refreshing in it's speed, integration and intuitive user interface. Additionally, the pricing is reasonable compared to overpriced competitors. I recommend Close over other CRMs, because it is simple, easy to use and addresses what sales personnel need to manage quickly and effectively without taking undue time from their primary roles.

Avantages

Price, customer support, intuitive user interface and simplicity of use, most effective CRM system I have seen that doesn't drain sales-personnel time.

Inconvénients

Voice of customers could be a future feature; price is still expensive for pre-revenue and lean startups.

Avantages

i love being able to send emails directly from the crm. it's not just sync, but a full integration. it also has all the modern functionality you would expect from an email system - right in your crm!

my concern is how well this tool scales because of its relative lack of discreteness. it would be difficult for manage a sales team utilizing this technology

Amazing product

We explored several CRMs and this one offered exactly the tools that really mattered to us. Other CRMs had more features but none that were essential to our business. In our case, all those bells and whistles within other CRMs made the experience complicated and unpleasant. Close.io's email integration, bulk emailing, integrated calling and powerful search capabilities allows us to maximize our sales efforts and keep better track of our potential and existing clients.

Great customer service and uncomplicated CRM with features that truly make an impact to every day sales performance.

One of the best crms I have ever used

Great outreach tool for calling prospects

Very easy to use tool for sales reps who do a lot of calls in a day.

Avantages

Very easy to use with an intuitive interface. Easily create followup sequences and the best feature is the one-click calling SMS. It is just so easy to call ANY Country on your computer. With great audio quality.

Inconvénients

The startup plan is fine, but if you want to use multiple phone numbers and call recording, it is only in the most expensive plan.
Also, you cannot see which calls cost how much money, it is hard to track back your charges.

Close.io treated me well

Avantages

Super simple for making phone calls and sending emails. Easy workflows for inside sales reps, you can make a lot of calls quickly.

Inconvénients

The reporting is pretty barebones, but I know that's something they've been bulking up over time.

Too many to list. During the trial our team already saw an ROI for the software. Very easy to use and great for keeping sales teams organized.

The CEO has tons of great resources available.

Increased Efficiency

Best inside sales CRM out there!

Avantages

I like their all in one feature package - outreach can be done via call, sms, email. Each feature is beautifully designed.
I also really like Smart Views

Inconvénients

No cons really. It's a little more expensive than other CRMs out there - but I totally understand because the features they provide at this price point eliminates need for any other app in my sales workflow.

Simple & powerful

We tried countless SaaS CRM tools, and most are stuck in the old ways of doing lots of data entry or remembering to BCC on every email you send.

Close.io is great because it lets sales people focus on leads and opportunities with _minimal_ workflow interruption.

Simple, Powerful, Effective

I highly recommend.

Communication made efficient

After testing other CRMs, I was blown away by Close.io's clean, easy-to-use interface, communication tracking, and detailed reporting features. For a business that works with and analyzes data, the reporting features are by far, my favorite feature. Tracking communication with Close.io has made what was a very time-consuming process extremely efficient.

Great Software!

Before close.io I was keeping track of all my customers with excel and pages. Now I have notes and history of all the customers including call logs, durations, and interests levels. This helps me give them the one-on-one feeling they want. The reminders and events that I set to help me contact clients at appropriate times that really helps me grow my business.

Avantages

Easy to use, fast, customizable. Was able to import all my customers with a few clicks.

Inconvénients

The only negative thing I have to say is that close.io does not work really well with HTML emails. That being said, I don't think that is a common feature in CRM's so I'm not 100% sure if I can call it a negative. Other then that, the software is great.

Exactly what we needed...following up.

We are a small Saas team, selling in the education sector. We (sales team of 1) are in touch with thousands of potential customers. From cold leads to re-signing customers.

Close allows us to contact cold leads in bulk, move them through our sales funnel and most importantly they MAKE US FOLLOW UP! Following up has had a huge effect on our business.

Data entry is greatly reduced, integrations are great. Highly recommended

Close.io really helps to keep track of your deals.

I've compared two Sales CRM, SalesforceIQ and Close.io. Although salesforceiq makes it really easy to create opportunities I find it much easier to follow up on opportunities within close.io.

Overall for the long run close.io

Avantages

Sending emails from within the close.io app is easy, following up on opportunities is also easy. I my mind these are the most important tasks in a salesman day to day job. Information flow it ordered nicely within the opportunity. Overall great experience.

Inconvénients

I find the flexibility of customization a bit lacking. Would like to separate leads from accounts. And have a more visual view of opportunities funnel.

Easy integration and superb service

We use close.io for our customer facing sales processes, started out with two sales agents and now scaled up to more than 40 while constantly adding features around close.io using their API. Close.io was easy to integrate into our processes for it is simple enough and yet let's you configure/adapt just as much as it makes sense in an early startup phase.

Ideal for direct email marketing

When I was doing direct email marketing, close.io made it so easy to feed in a ton of contacts, automate sending out personalized emails, then track who responded, who didn't, and keep moving people down the funnel. If you're doing email marketing, you need a tool like this just to manage everything you've got going on, and so that you can track follow up with people and really close more deals. Everyone I dealt with at the company was great too, and even the founder is reachable.

Best CRM I've Ever Used

After using Close for two unrelated startups of different sizes and markets, it has come to be my absolute favorite CRM out there because of how flexible, easy to use, powerful, and reliable it really is.

Avantages

The Mac platform is incredibly well done and easy to use.
Uploading leads is easy and flexible.
Lead configuration is dynamic but not overwhelming.
Generous trial period.

No iOS app has been released yet.

Close.io is fast become a valuable member of our team! We've deeply integrated the tool into our workflow and technology.

Great tool

Thank you Close.io!

Close.io was exactly what we needed right when we needed it. We strive to hit 80 outbound dials every day (per salesperson) and we are able to do that with close.io. With that type of call volume we must also be able to keep up with opportunities, emails, etc. and close.io is definitely up to the task. Support is by far the best I've seen and I've thrown some complex stuff at them.

Avantages

Very solid. Meets all of our startup needs and handles all aspects of a company trying to achieve a high call volume.

Inconvénients

None that I can think of. Sometimes the reporting is a bit off, but the support folks quickly handle any issues.

Best CRM I have used!

Avantages

The best CRM tool I have used, loved the interface that is literally all in one, recorded calls to review of my teams sales calls. Texts emails etc.

Inconvénients

None! Best CRM system I've used! Definitely recommend

Close.io Rocks

Close.io has been a major improvement over our last CRM tool (Salesforce). Our reps are happier because there's less work on their end and management is happier because all key metrics are captured within. It's also a lot easier to find, assign and manage opportunities. The interface is clean and compelling with all the key information at hand. We're big fans.

Inconvénients

There are features and functionality we'd like to see as Close.io add over time (note they're good about listening to requests). Examples include better managing duplication, parent/grandparent relationships (visual and drop-down) and an area for notes within individual contacts.

Great CRM

I’ve tried many CRMs. There are those that have all the features you want and more, but when you use them… it just slows you down. Then there’s Close.io - it lacked some functions I thought I needed, but it satisfied expectations I didn’t know I have. It’s a completely different experience from any other sales software I’ve ever used, and I can’t imagine going back to other systems.

Close.io Review

We started with a free trial (2 weeks) and recently upgraded to the professional edition. Most important to us was that we have a flexible CRM with a lot of Search Combinations where we can enter the different stages of our clients. Close.io is made for sales teams and their customer support is very responsive too.

Avantages

- Good Customer Support
- API
- Fast Interface
- Lots of Sarch Option and Automatic Data Entry
- VOIP Phone integration

Inconvénients

- No Mobile App yet
- Automatic Removal of Duplicates on Entry could be easier. (They are working on an improvement here)

Great App

Love it. This app allows our team to be very productive with cold prospecting. It also makes it very easy for the team to follow our system.

Avantages

Search is great. Smart views are great.

Inconvénients

I would like it to track undelivered mail and automated responses. If we don't track this manually, our stats are off. No real negatives though :)

Close.io Rocks !

I've used others CRM and I'm really happy to have switched to close.io.

Close.io is the best CRM for a SAAS company like ours! It is easy to use, well designed and precisely tailored to our needs.

Inconvénients

Contact integration with exchange would be nice.
(No need for a native mobile app but managing contacts in 2 places is an issue).

BEST CRM I have ever used.

Close.io has improved our workflow and helps us to never drop the
ball on a lead. Their search queries are sales magic - we can
quickly create lead lists for highly-targeted outreach campaigns.
Prior to Close.io, this required days of sorting through our
database. Now it’s a couple of clicks. It’s simply the best piece
of sales software out there - hands down!

Best modern CRM for startups

We've tried several different CRMs for our startup and ultimately chose close.io. In our experience, it is the best, modern CRM product on the market for inside sales teams.

Avantages

- Simplicity of the conceptual model (relationship between leads, opportunities, contacts)
- Powerful, very flexible search
- Great API along with good documentation
- High quality & performance (other CRMs we've tried are buggy and slow)
- Has built in calling capabilities

Inconvénients

- No mobile app, so updating leads when on the go is not easy

Best sales platform I've ever used

I used to represent one of the top sales platforms available. This is better. This is so much better than by a minute and a half into their intro video I knew that I would buy. They solve every pain I was experiencing with tools before them.

Avantages

Integrated Voip, integrated email, automated reminders...basically every cool feature I didn't even realize I wanted, they've got it.

Inconvénients

Need some better integrations with email marketing platforms. The best option for non-gmail users is DripEmails.com and they're not very intuitive.

You would be insane not to give it a free trial

Have used everything – Salesforce, InfusionSoft, Pipedrive, Sugar, etc. At some level, they were all awesome, and at another level, all of them sucked at something important. After signing up for a free 14 day trial, I happily pulled out my credit card and signed on for $660/month for our (4) users after using it for just a few days. And we had just signed on for a competitive solution only 4 months earlier.

Now, after using Close.io for a couple of weeks, the positive impact on our business has been profound. Since all calls and emails go through the system, the reporting is real-time and automatic for salespeople. Our sales staff loves it, I love it, and as long as it keeps working the way it is, we expect to be customers for a long time.

P.S. Responses from support are typically within the hour. So far, I'm very impressed.

Avantages

Automated tracking, in-app calling, in-app email, bulk email, filtering, reporting, real-time dashboard.

Inconvénients

Higher cost per seat than some others (but obviously well worth it for me, and most others).

Power behind it's simplicity

Close.io it's so simple and easy to learn that there is where the power is. If you have some sense of what your sales funnels is then just load up your leads, create lead statuses for each step of your funnel and make sure they're set as your smart views and BAM! you're ready to take on the world.

Avantages

It just does what is supposed too.

Inconvénients

Price (but is because my A$$ is broke, but I can't see price being an issue at all once I can fully afford it.) Shut, I like it so much that I rather skip a meal that not use it haha,

Great option!

I have really enjoyed using Close and would recommend it to anyone looking for a basic CRM!

Avantages

Close is relatively easy to use and is priced quite well!

Inconvénients

We are a small company, so using close has been great for us, but I'm not sure how it would compare for larger companies.

Everything I need for Sales

Close.io did a great job in reducing functionality to the max and combining the for me most relevant features in a intuitive dashboard. From lead management, sales cycle to contacting prospects as a team - it's all in it. Nothing more.

Best CRM for Startups

I've used Salesforce, Highrise, Pipedrive, and Close.io, and Close.io is by far the best CRM for startups. It allows you to focus on actual selling rather than data entry, by syncing with Google Apps in an intelligent fashion.

Avantages

Excellent support, great founders, great desktop app for Mac, and very easy to use plus onboard team members with.

Inconvénients

No mobile app for iPhone.
