OpManager is the best monitoring tool I've used. I've used many for years.
It's excellent. I do recommend OpManager to anyone who needs to monitor any onprem servers. We get quick, meaningful, actionable alerts that help us fix problems before people know they're happening.
Avantages
It is easy to setup and doesn't have the bloat and slowness of other similar products. I've used Solar Winds, HP OpenView and WhatsUp Gold at multiple companies. OpManager is better than all of them.
Inconvénients
I don't have a cons list. My cons were all cleared up when I switched. Solar Winds is too slow and hard to setup. WhatsUp Gold used to be great but became too bloated when they switched to the web version. OpManager has a web interface that is fast and the monitoring isn't difficult to setup. I don't miss any features compared to similar products.

Increase the effectiveness of the network visibility and management
Avantages
OpManager has a benefit of offering server monitoring for both physical servers and virtual servers. It provides real-time information of server health in aspects such as CPU, memory, and disk usage which are very important for the healthy operation of a server.
Inconvénients
It may take a lot of time and efforts to set up the program particularly when one is configuring monitoring on many devices. At times some devices can only be identified and supervised if there is a manual interjection.

Necessary for effective network oversight
Avantages
The OpManager features allow real time alerting so when there are network problems, I receive immediate notification. Such a prompt notification helps to respond to issues before they skyrocket thus ensuring a strong network with low failure rates.
Inconvénients
It seemed that the licensing can be somewhat confusing such as when one is adding more devices to monitor in the network. It needs to have an appreciation of the various tiers and the corresponding cost element within it.

Helps in keeping healthy the optimal network performance
Avantages
The real-time performance tracking the capability provided visibility in real-time on the possibility of a bottleneck or failure within the network. The clusters gave a clear view of the functions of the device which was helpful in identifying its yields.
Inconvénients
I realized that the utilization of the system resources was rather intense especially during monitoring and this sometimes dropped the overall performance of the server hosting the software.

Indispensable means of tracking important assets
Avantages
Using ManageEngine OpManager we can easily discover devices on the network and map them into respective categories thereby saving time and effort. A lot of templates are provided to make the performance monitoring more manageable without needing settings up.
Inconvénients
I observed a lack of depth with regards to the monitoring of storages. It is characterized by the absence of more complex storage analytics which are useful for dealing with poor performance.

Good RMM but buggy at times
Avantages
Good tool and good feature set. They offer a lot of products but they don't always tie together seemlessly. For the features and price this is a good starter tool.
Inconvénients
The product is buggy and at times doesn't perform the way you would want it to. Support is lacking and hard to work. If you need the tool to function 100% all the time, then you will be disappointed.
