Bon logiciel de mail

Hormis la partie calendrier qui ne m'a pas convaincue, pour la gestion des mails ce logiciel est top !

Avantages

La gestion des mails est simple et l'interface est agréable et très compréhensible

Inconvénients

Pas mal de soucis de synchronisation du calendrier, avec décalage dans le temps des synchro

Light weight wonderful mail client to start with for free

A stop shop for your personal mail management. Easy navigation, better features as compared to other mail clients, professional version available for business needs.

Avantages

Easy installation, easy sync with your mail providers such as Gmail, Yahoo etc. Light weight, has most required features for a basic user. Good on user interface and user experience

Inconvénients

Preference management or user profile build up could be improved as per user's taste

Doesn't Quite to the Job

I have been an on/off user over 8 years. Each time I return the product gets better, but the final result is there is always some deficiency. I will problem continue to use the program but use it along side of google workplace. I have 20 email addresses that I monitor, and so far emClient is the only one that will easily manage email.

Avantages

For email only, it works great for both IMAP and GMAIL. When working correctly Calendar connectivity is great, but lately it has been having sync issues. (Mar24).

Inconvénients

Besides the calendaring system synch, it does not work well with the new Gmail task system and doesn't support subtasks rendering it totally unusable. In addition the note system is only stand alone and does not integrate with Google Keep. In addition, they have no way of contacting them and have no section for known problems on their website. There isn't even a way of getting paid support. All they have is a Kayako help desk knowledge base.

Google Keep unfortunately does not allow integration with 3rd party apps, if it did, we'd love to include it.

The Kayako system has both a public knowledgebase and the login to VIP Support center, which you gain access to with Pro license and VIP Support subscription - if you have trouble finding the login, please reach out to [email protected], we'd be happy to help.

eMClient Windows application CANNOT send larger attachements (3MB +)

No longer willing to deal with a company that cannot assemble a team to follow up on reported fatal flaws. I even pay extra for "VIP Support", but they don't even respond! Unbelievable.

Avantages

I needed an email client to serve as a capable Windows email client for both POP3 email servers and for IMAP servers. eMClient was such a program and did work well for several years.

Inconvénients

Beginning in January 2024, I started reporting a failure of emclient (for Windows) to be able to send emails with large (3MB or more) attachments. Initially, emclient support replied and asked very low level questions to determine how I was using emClient. When it became obvious that I knew more than their support staff, they stopped responding to my requests for help. Sending the same email through the Outlook web portal works fine. Sending the same email through the iOS emclient app works fine. Disabling Windows Defender firewall and antivirus doesn't help. I think this is a bug that they are unable or unwilling to tackle because only a small number of users are complaining and it is easier for them to lose a few customers than it is to fix the problem.

We are sorry to hear you experienced issues, but we do not plan to stop troubleshooting the issue just yet, the new technician assigned to your case is indeed newer but he is communicating with our devs to help you resolve the issue.

We do not ignore any tickets intentionally - so when reporting a new issue or even reaching out after a while, make sure to start a new ticket instead of re-opening an old one. If the technician no longer works with us, it might unfortunately take longer for us to notice that an old finished ticket was re-opened. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

eM Client an interesting email client

I use eM Client on a Windows 10 computer to manage a couple of email accounts.
The programs is easy to use, just a bit slow to load sometimes.
I will surely install it on other computers. I suggest to try it

Avantages

In the past I had several problems with an old installation of Outlook that stop working and I did not fix; as I needed my mailbox to be restored as soon as possible I installed eM Client that import everything from my outlook profile and worked without any problem, nothing to set. Wonderful!
I like the interface, clean, you have your email folder, your calendar, activities and contact.
I use on Windows, but it can also be installaed on Mac and mobile phones.
The free version allows you to manage two email address. The paid version offer more features and unlimited email account and the price is really cheap.
Highly recommended!

Inconvénients

Sometimes it a bit slow while loading; I am not sure if local email managed with eM Client will be easy exportable to other email clients

An email Client you should use

I use Emclient on a couple of computers and I am really satisfied.
It works perfectly, it is simple to use and you have all the mail features, such as contacts, calendar, email filters, rules.
Sometimes seems to slow down if your computer has few hardware resources, but I recommend it anyway.

Avantages

if you come from another email client, EmClient import your previous email configuration so you do not have to worry/bother about what to set in server and ports, very useful feature, especially for those who aren't skilled.
Em Client is easy to use and you can have two email accounts in the free version, suitable for most people that have only personal email addresses. If you use at work you may need to set 2+ address but the license is very cheap.
It is a valid alternative to Outlook (you must pay to use it) and Thunderbird (a bit confusing for me).

Inconvénients

It's a bit slow if your computer is old, better to install in newest computers

Competitive & fully featured email client

Fun to learn for professionals used to more limited Gmail but not as visually seamless although newer updates are very promising.

Avantages

Very easy to use for beginners to e-mail clients, allows easy addition of accounts and quick to learn all the features.

Inconvénients

Not as sleek as outlook & gmail competitors, doesn’t have an easy way to remember original license key account as it isn’t linked to your license key.

The best email client I have used

eMClient is like Outlook but so much better. The user interface is simple yet very effective and fully customisable. The product is constantly updated and a new version is issued each year. I have 4 email accounts setup on mine and I have purchased a lifetime license which is extremely good value for money.I use the product for my business and personal email accounts without any issues at all. Whenever a client of mine requests advice with regards to a good email client I always recommend eMClient.

Avantages

I have found eMClient easy to setup and migrate over to from other platforms and on behalf of my clients after I have recommended the product to them.The overall user experience is very straight forward and there is an excellent user forum that you can access to search for knowledge if ever needed.You can use the product for free for 1 or 2 email accounts but you will have to purchase a license if you want to add 3 or more email accounts.

Inconvénients

I honestly can't make any complaints about this product!

Best Windows alternative to MS Outlook

When I grew too frustrated with the many failings of MS Outlook, I searched for an alternative. The best I could find was eM Client.

Avantages

Best alternative I found to Outlook, and with a lot less problems than Outlook

Inconvénients

The text editor is very basic, certain features are a bit clunky

Email alternative

Avantages

A simple an easy alternative to outlook. The interface and useability is good for someone that wants a more simple email client.

Inconvénients

There are a few bugs with the calendar reminders and tasks. Even if you clear out a reminder you will get it everyday since you set it up.

Great product but has fatal flaw

It's a great app, until you lose all of your emails and settings.

Avantages

eM Client makes it easy to manage multiple email accounts from one app. There are a ton of customization features that allow you to set things up to look and function exactly the way you want. I haven't found any other app that provides all of the functionality and customization features that eM Client does.

Inconvénients

I use eM Client with Windows 10. I have automatic updates turned on in Windows. Occasionally, Windows 10 will automatically re-boot the computer. When this happens, if eM Client is open, you lose all of your settings AND all of your email messages. It is very disruptive and quite frightening, and it takes a long time to restore everything, especially if you manage a lot of different email accounts. I've contacted eM Client's customer support several times about this, but they refuse to do anything about it.

System updates/restart should definitely not cause a loss of data, the database just might need to be checked.
If this is something that tends to happen on your device, I recommend enabling and using the Automatic backup feature (Menu>Settings>General>Backup) for example at least once every week or even every day. If something happens to your database, then you just need to use Menu>File>Restore to get all your settings, accounts and data back.

Good platform, the best I have found so far

My overall experience has been good. Support provides decent answers, but can be a little slow in responding.

Avantages

The platform has an easy to use interface and handles a large number of disparate email services without isse.

Inconvénients

The lack of EAS support is an issue and essentially seems to leave Outlook as the only option in too many cases.

I was excited, but terrible reliability and horrible support changed that.

The reliability is awful, but the customer service... wow. If they were any quieter over there, we'd have to be in the vacuum of space.

If I could buy this company, fire every employee and finish their system I would. I suspect they have very little development capability, or they are outsourcing all of this and that explains why getting fixes done is impossible at best.

Avantages

The interface looks great (but has issues), it's fast and has some good features, but mostly they don't work as expected.

Inconvénients

The search function doesn't work.
That's right IMAP users... No searching for e-mails. No matter what.

If I am looking for an e-mail from my #1 client, I first have to look on my cell phone, find the date and time in eM client and then sort by the Received By name. Sometimes it is there, sometimes it isn't. 99% of the time I am stuck using my cell phone to reply to people because eM client search doesn't work.

If I have an upcoming meeting, occasionally (1 time out of 30) I can find the e-mail by typing in any ONE word that I can think MIGHT be in the e-mail message. You can't search by e-mail address, or name, subject nothing.

I dealt with it for 2 years. I submitted countless documents, proof and technical information to support, and all they do is ignore me. I now am forced to just send them an e-mail every two weeks saying "Hello? Any update?" .... Silence.

I'm a software engineer. I own a software company. I told them how to fix all of it. I offered for free, since it's been 2 years. They're not interested at all in fixing it.

Beyond that, e-mails in the inbox show that they are from different people, people that I haven't talked to since I created my e-mail account. Why you ask? They blame it on "incomplete headers". I submitted header comparisons between all sorts of mixed up messages showing no difference... What was their explanation? Nothing. Silence.

Best alternative to Microsoft Outlook (for smaller organizations/Individuals) evaluated.

Adopted emClient as my primary PIM application while associates reviewed alternative to Outlook email clients. Compared our experiences and agreement was reached to recommend emClient when appropriate to the client entity.

Avantages

In role of a performance/financial improvement interim executive/advisor, I regularly evaluate critical products and services for my clients enterprises. For small to mid-market firms (and NFPs) the cost of Microsoft products can be very significant ongoing budgetary hit. Good alternatives office suites lack robust PIM capabilities and that is always a real consideration. The emClient PIM offers all of the capabilities needed for professional usage.

Inconvénients

The emClient product's export capability is effectively non-existent. If a later decision is made to return-to/go-to Outlook... a major effort will be required.

The best outlook alternative

Avantages

I literary try dozen email clients, and em client is my favorit. It's have everything I need.Have modern and clean interface? yes | support ms exchange? yes | sync with google calender? yes | have a reminder tool? yes | one time payment? yes.Overall em client have a lot of features but yet still easy to use. I strongly you give em client a try, the have free version (with very limited features).

Inconvénients

For their pro version, I have nothing to complain, but their free version basically unusable because only 2 email accounts allowed. Instead of offer free version with such limitation, I think they better offer a full free trial.

When you first install eM Client, it will run in a 30-day trial mode automatically, and during that time anyone can test all features for free :)
The 2-account limit is used only once a Free license is registered and activated - before any license is used, the trial will have all the features for any testing.

Excellent product - excellent value

I have used eM Client since approximately version 3 or 4 and I use it daily

Avantages

Easy to use and very flexible in the way I can search for emails

Inconvénients

The sorting of contacts is not the best. Some are found in the contacts list, others are not. I am not sure why.

Great alternative to Outlook

Avantages

eM Client is very easy to use, and it allows me to be able to view all of my old emails, without the need to search through archives. It syncs flawlessly with my Google mail and Google calendar.

I have previously submitted features that I wanted to see, and they were ultimately added to the program

Apart from support, good product

A bunch of stooges, in my opinion. Good product but silliness in the support.

Avantages

Great methods and ease of use in organizing emails in folders

Inconvénients

Support is close to non-existent. Good luck trying to phone or chat with them directly. Everything has to be my email and takes days.

Good software, strange licensing

Poor. Software is decent, but slow support and difficult point of purchase licensing make it not worth the hassle. We have 50 potential users but won't be working with eMClient.

Avantages

It is an email client, pretty straightforward. Good clean interface, good connectivity between o365 and Google apps accounts.

Inconvénients

I demo'd the software personally to see how it worked for organizational consideration. So I bought a license for my computer. After a while I wanted to put it on my laptop too to stay consistent (majority of time is at desktop, some meetings and travel with laptop). However, I discovered the software is machine licensed, not user licensed, so need to buy separate licenses. No ideal but not a big deal, I went through their website and there was mention of volume discounts.

I reached out to support, which is very weak. Some language barriers which is okay, I can work with that. However, an attempt to purchase extra licenses took close to two weeks for a reply (weeks, not days).

The response was even more baffling. If you buy two licenses 'at the same time' there is a deep discount. But if you buy one, then another the next day (for the same user, or even group of users) there is no discount. We have no problem paying full price for user licensing (desktop and laptop), or no problem with a volume system for users adding multiple machines. Why would you offer deep discounts, and then take that away when an organization wants to buy your software? Either have discounts or don't, but that's a strange carrot to wave and then pull back. Then there is the issue of waiting weeks for confusing answers that need clarification.

Good Software

I have 10 licenses. One morning one of the computers stopped downloading the emails. Customer service was terrible at identifying the problem and kept saying use IMAP instead of POP3. I asked him many times to connect me to a supervisor but he chose not to. Therefor it lead me to write this review.

Avantages

It is beautiful when it works. Easy to use

Inconvénients

Terrible customer service.. Generic messaged. Cant troubleshoot. Their knowledge is as good as "Reset".

A Great Fully Featured Email Client

It's been great. No problems, easy to use, great layout and I use it for hours each day.

Avantages

s a lot of features built into it, from mail to calendar, tasks and contact management, this has been a great solution for me. It is an ideal alternative to Outlook.

It works well, is easy to set up with multiple email accounts from all sorts of providers. I also love the layout options available and having the dark layout is great too.

Inconvénients

Nothing really, it all works as it should and there hasn't been any problems or things that I thought could be better, for me it is a solid piece of software.

eM client best alternative

Overall paying customer will not rate it excellent as it has still got sync issues. User interface can be modernized. Html features can be improved like merging options.

Avantages

It provides some great features like syncing with mail services. It was easy to set up and have good display and themes. Free license for use is great anong other main features.

Inconvénients

Calender features are somewhat looks like missing which can be added. Synchronization is slow sometimes and takes time to load emails. Merging cells option seems to be non supported which is major lack in the software.

Perfect for low budget

Can't Modify Attached Documents

Good.

Avantages

I like the ease of making backups (although I haven't tried to restore yet).

Inconvénients

In all other email clients that I've used (Outlook, Windows Express, Thunderbird, etc.) if I attached a document to an outgoing email and I wanted to revise the document before sending I would be able to open the attachment, make the revisions, and when I closed the attachment the revisions would be saved, in both the attached file and where the file resides on my hard drive. With eM Client it will not save revisions you make to an attachment, so I have to delete the attachments, open up the file on my hard drive and make the revisions, and then re-attach the file to the email. Very inefficient.

Kalender Bug und Ungenügender Support

Nachdem ich den VIP Support (lustig das es keinen normalen Support gibt) für um die 10€ erworben hatte, durfte ich erst einmal einen Tag warten. Pro Antwort kam war jedes mal mindestens ein Tag dazwischen. Defacto hat man mich hingehalten wenn das Problem ja wohl bekannt ist... VIP ist das alles nicht, das ist ein bezahlter Tech Support der offensichtlich ausgebaut werden muss... der "Community" Support bringt gar nichts, bis heute wurde meine Nachricht dort nur gelesen und keiner hat kommentiert...

Daher, wer etwas stabiles und ausgereiftes sucht bei dem Grundtools wie KALENDER ohne Probleme funktionieren, der ist bei em client leider falsch.

Avantages

Die Preisstruktur und die breite Anbindung. Sei es icloud oder caldav, es wird alles nativ ohne Plugins unterstützt.

Inconvénients

Es existiert wohl seit Jahren ein Bug im Kalendersystem, der vielleicht in der Version 10 behoben ist, da ist man sich aber noch nicht sicher.

Wenn man viele Termine hat und den Kalender mit dem Kalender in der Sidebar vergleicht wird man feststellen das hin und wieder Termin im Hauptkalender fehlen, in der Sidebar aber angezeigt werden... das ist kein Zustand! Das ist nicht akzeptabel! Und mit der Aussage das dies in der Version 10 gepatcht sein sollte, haben Sie sich für mich komplett ins aus geschossen. Das muss direkt gefixt werden, da darf es keine zwei "Ansichten" des gleichen Kalenders geben, das muss alles richtig sein, darauf muss man sich verlassen können!

Hi Tobias, the support is free the first year after any license/upgrade purchase as that is when most users have their questions. Extending the support later is optional.

Sometimes troubleshooting or finding the reason for specific issue can take time and cannot be instant. Same for implementing fixes - we are close to releasing the new version so the fix will be included there. Your license will work with the next version and the BETA can be tried out for free if you want to make sure the issue you experienced is resolved.

You mention the issue has been happening for years (or was it? Maybe an older version would help) but you reported it 10 days ago and the fix will be in the next v10 BETA update. You were also given a workaround on using different calendar view to avoid this issue for now.
We're sorry that this is not fast enough for you, but we always try for the fastest possible turnaround.

Superb email and calendar software

Software is easy to install and use and makes my job so much easier.

Avantages

I like the instant notifications with multiple notifications. My contacts are easy to find and I can even schedule work on the calendar. There is also a great free option.

Inconvénients

There is nothing not to like about emclient.

Validissimo Client Email

Avantages

Trovo davvero completo questo cliente, dopo mesi che utilizzavo Outlook finalmente un programma che non mi crea problemi e non li manca nulla.

Inconvénients

Unico neo, quelle rare volte che si è bloccato (2/3 volte all'anno) il controllo del database è piuttosto lungo, certo la dimensione della mia cartella di posta è oltre i 20GB

Thank you for your review! Yes, the database check can take a while for large databases, but it's only because it's trying to make sure all your data is safe/restored correctly after the crash.

If you have a recent backup and don't want to wait for the database check, you can cancel the database check and restore faster from the backup.

The most complete mail client

Has every features that you need to manage all mail, task, contact, notes, calendar and it's perfect with icewarp server because it's very well integrated. You can use smart attach directly from emclient and use video conferencing.

Could be the best email client on the market if not for license pricing

emClient has the ability to be the best email program of its kind. It has everything going for it but still needs some polish and I am not certain the developers are "game" to doing the improvements that should be done.For starters, there is no message directional delete. This is a basic function in most email clients, most notably, Apple Mail. Delete a message and it should move up to the next newer message. Nope. Does not do that and when I suggested it to customer support they didn't even acknowledge the request and simply said that I should just highlight the messages I want to delete and hit the delete key. Sorry, after having the feature properly implemented in Apple Mail, there is no substitute.Setting up RULES is a bit of a cumbersome process compared to Apple Mail. It's really wonky compared to other email clients. There are too many steps with templates that you have to go through to set up a simple mail filter. I consider myself a pro at doing it on multiple clients and I ended up having to contact support to figure out how to do it with theirs.Still, I think the client is fantastic enough that I would want to purchase it, that is, until I got to their licensing policy. A license costs about $70. However, that's for one computer. Most people have at least two devices in their homes so $70 doesn't cover more than one.So, if you want two computers licensed, that's about $105. But wait! Excelente gestor de correos eM Client y gratis!

Avantages

Configuras el correo de manera sencilla y sin complicaciones. Permite tener bandeja unificada con varias cuentas, lo que ahorra tiempo para leer todos tus correos. Los filtros funcionan bien, y las tareas y calendarios complementan bien el trabajo de oficina. Desde la versión gratuita tiene un gestor de correos completo, que te permite estar al día.

eM Client is one of my most important daily/hourly tools

I've been using it for years because no other email client works as well, at least for what I need. I don't want to have my email stored on the external servers, I want local copies (leaving them on the server as well for remote access) and that means a local client on my desktop computer. I combine it with MailWasherPro and together my email experience is painless.

Avantages

Multiple accounts, easy auto-configuration of new accounts. Customizable aliases on accounts.

Inconvénients

Confusion over how many inbox folders there are.

Not recommended

Again, I like the concept and the thought behind the product but would consider it too unstable for business use. The good thing is that the repair process works, the bad is that you have to do it so often.

For a product that has so many nice features for efficiency, to have the conversation thread backwards so that for each email you have to page down to find the last response is hard to understand why they did that. They seem to be confused between a texting program that shows the most recent at the bottom (but also opens at the bottom so the most recent is where it opens) and an email client where the most recent is normally at the top so you see the response immediately.
These items make this program an also run that I will be keeping an eye on because I really like the design and if they get them resolved then it will be one of my favorites. But still cannot be recommended at this time.

Avantages

The concept and design of the program is excellent.

At least in theory it is well thought out and has several useful features. I particularly like the ability to click on an email and see on the right side the contact information as well as every email to and from that person as well as every attachment sent and received. This is a huge feature for me.

The ability to quickly generate a task from an email or create a calendar event is also really nice.

Unlike some other reviewers, I found the tech support to be reasonable. Then again, I am a computer expert and provide expert testimony on computer systems and software for court purposes and so had very few issues with setup.

Inconvénients

Although I like the design of the software, I could never recommend it for use in a business. I view it more as a curiosity for personal use. The primary reason is that in the five weeks I have used the software there have been multiple instances of being unable to read email or the software attempted to display an attachment inline and so it just looked like garbage. Each time I contacted tech support and the fix was the same... either rebuild the software account or delete it and create it again. Luckily I was using IMAP so it was not an issue deleting and recreating the accounts. So, I used it five weeks and rebuilt or deleted and recreated email accounts seven times. This is a big issue.

Another problem is the very strange an unusual way they display an email conversation. I wrote to tech support about this and they indicated that it is the way it is supposed to work and the way that all email clients work. Uh, no. I have not seen any other email client that displays your email conversation starting with the oldest email and continuing down to the most recent. I understand that is the way a conversation occurs and you can read it from the beginning to the end but in reality I do not know anyone who wants to open their email and page down multiple times to find the person's response. I want to see the response when I open the email. If I need to see the prior email they are responding to then I will scroll down and see that one.

With a fresh, clean look, this email client is the best I've used in a long time!

eM Client has proved to be much more efficient by eliminating the chaos and stress of an unorganized email collection. It is so much easier to manage emails when they look good!

Avantages

The clean and simple user interface makes it easier than ever to maintain an organized email system. When viewing an email, eM Client has a handy Contact Details sidebar with other emails between you and that contact allowing you to refer back to past conversations without flipping back and forth through the inbox and sent folders.

It also has the ability to keep conversations stacked in the same list item similar to how text messages are organized on a smartphone. This was a huge selling point for me as I often get lost easily between complicated email threads in other clients.

Another huge bonus that makes eM Client a favorite of mine is the amount of options you have to play with. Some users might find this overwhelming or confusing but I'm a huge fan of the ability to change things like the theme, font, font size and spacing, which buttons to display, etc.

Inconvénients

Having transferred from Mozilla Thunderbird, there are still a few quirks like how it sorts Junk mail and the fact that I have two inherited junk folders and it's unclear which is being used for what. There also doesn't seem to be an automatic junk filter like other clients have but, on the other hand, this means I never miss anything due to the client marking it as spam and never to be seen again.

In the detailed email list view (multiple columns), you have the ability to change which columns are visible and in which order, etc. However, this only effects the current folder and all other folders have to be adjusted independently. It would be nice if similar folder types shared the same column views to be consistent across all folders.

As far as sorting goes, you have the option to flag emails or apply a color-coded category. When a category is applied, you have the option to make the text of the email change to the color of the category but when the email is active or highlighted, the color changes to the default black making it impossible to know what category the email falls under while you are viewing it. In my opinion, this almost defeats the purpose of categorizing email conversations since you are unable to search via category.

Email message size

I love the platform, but the inability to display emails with large attachments is a huge problem to our business. Customer support were rude and closed the support ticket to a paying customer without our consent and without resolving the issue, or doing everything they could to help. They washed their hands of it.

Avantages

I love eM Client for how it displays messages, the UI and the ability it has to use multiple accounts on the Pro version.

Inconvénients

There has been a LONG term issue of it not displaying emails with attachments in excess of 25MB. This means customers will send us emails with large attachments and we won't see them because eM Client won't display them, when other email platforms will. We checked our email server settings and the option "Do not limit message size" is selected at a Server level. Yet, Customer Support still persistently blamed our email servers and refused to offer any solutions. As has been mentioned by other users, email syncing can also be slow.

Me gusto lo simple de la interface, como así también la versatilidad del buscador de correos. Por otra parte, el traductor me pareció muy útil.

I needed a product similar to outlook when we switched providers and emclient fit the bill. I been happy with it for over 5 years.

Hard to figure out how to remove names associated with emails that have changed to different people.

Very good email client with a full set of features which are not found in other email programs.
One time fee and do buy the lifetime upgrade option.

Good basic email client program (used with MS Outlook Live)

It's super-easy to setup, works well and has a clean interface. The developers keep it updated. It does all the simple things we need an email and calender/scheduling client to do.

Avantages

It's simple and the free version is good for our purposes. It is so much easier than having to log into MS Outlook everytime I want to check email. Between my wife and my self we have 4 online freemail Outlook accounts. One of them is for our business which is the most important and highly used. We have a quick and easy view of all for accounts in on window. You can prioritize accounts since uou may want to be notified for some accounts over others when email arrives. Integration is solid with Outlook Live.

Inconvénients

Sometimes the program does not update right away when opening. There are also time you have to click on the folder to see how many emails are in it. It should show this automatically without having to do anyhting. I'm not sure if this is how it operates for everyone or if it's my particular setup. I also wish they had more themes for the free version but this is hardly a big issue.

We used to use Windows Mail which worked fine but Microsoft discontinued support for it. After that we tried Mozilla Thunderbird (OK but clunky and ugly) and Mailbird Lite which did not have enough features at the time.

Nice Alternative email app

Avantages

Importing my data from MS Outlook was so easy I didn't actually realize that it happened except for the prompts to let me know that it was trying. I like the layout of the program as it just make sense to me to have the emails list on the side and the reading or preview pane beside it.

Inconvénients

The only thing I would add would be a way to delete emails by single click instead of the Right Click option. Otherwise, there is not much to dislike about this app.

Excellent software

Able to keep up to date through email and calendar with clients which makes my life easier.

Terrible Latency/Lagging and Unusable & Unpredictable Signatures

I used this product for several years, and I have finally given up. It's just awful.

Avantages

It's easy to setup. Other than that, there's nothing I like about it.

Inconvénients

Locks up my computer ALL THE TIME when processing new e-mail in any of my half dozen or so accounts. I can't have an application that makes my computer unusable while it "thinks." It's just unbearable, and I have switched to MailBird, which is much faster and doesn't lag or freeze up my system.

I never could get the signatures and templating to work correctly. My signatures look awful, and I have a fairly robust graphic design skill set. I would set my signature to use a Calibri 12, and it would look like 18 while the template setting for composing e-mails was set to the same font and size, and the text looked tiny.

eM Client - good email client for small office

Our overall experience with eM Client is very positive. I would be happy to recommend it to any one looking for a good, reliable, traditional email client that is cheaper than Outlook. In fact, I like it better than Outlook anyway and though we now have Office 365 inc Outlook I have no intention of moving from eM Client.

Avantages

One of our users has a strong aversion to webmail. eM Client is a good option for a traditional email client. Very much cheaper than Outlook but looks and feels familiar so is easy to use. We move to eM Client from Thunderbird and like the integration of eM Client with Google Contacts very helpful.

Inconvénients

No particular issues. It's cheaper than Outlook but competes more with free clients so it would be nice of eM Client were cheaper than it is, but can't really complain as it doesn't cost much, is regularly updated and has given good, reliable service over many years.

Best email management program

Avantages

Working with eM Client is easy, setting it up to my own preferences is good. If you have the pro version, you can have an unlimited number of email accoungts managed through eM Client. Synchronization with web mail works flawlessly. Having worked with Microsoft Outlook and long ago with outlook express, eM Client is currently the only email management program that exceeds all expectations. Unlike web mail programs like Chrome with eM Client it is possibke to save emails to your hard drive (I prefer saving each and every email to my device).

Inconvénients

At times it is not easy to find out how to adjust or change features, layout, and more. It's often a trial and error exercise. But once you manage to find out how it works, it's fine.
