I have been using it and it has been incredibly convenient for both online and offline transactions. The platform allows me to receive payments from clients seamlessly, without the hassle of complicated options. Its user-friendly interface and straightforward payment process have made managing transactions much easier.

Inconvénients

the fees are higher compared to other options, which is a significant drawback. After a few years, I switched to Venmo for a more cost-effective solution.

Avantages

Square payment software is easy to use both online and in "RL" (Real Life). If you have a versatile business and you are conducting sales both on and offline, this makes it easy to accept payments no matter where you are! If you are the type to always carry a little bit of product with you, download the mobile app and you can even accept payments when you are just out and about.

So far, I haven't found anything that I don't like.

Square is the fastest, most reliable way to take payments at popup events. Being able to accept various forms of payments has increased the total amount of sales.

If there is a lag inbetween transactions, sometimes my reader goes to sleep. When it does, it's slow to reconnect to my phone so the transaction can be entered.

My favorite feature is the instant daily payouts. This helps me to maintain inventory without any issues. Customer service is also very responsive.

After a couple of payments, i had to send in documents to verify my business. This took several days to complete, and my payments were on hold in the process.

What can I say. Simple to use and very functional with no issues. I have used other platforms before and found it hard to navigate and to understand what's what but never had this issue with square.

Square payments is very user friendly. Even if you don't have any experience with card readers it takes a minimal amount of time to learn. All of the fees are listed in your account so manging your costs is really easy.

The free card reader is very hit or miss if it actually works. I have had to manually enter multiple cards during craft sales and that was unfortunate.

I hate that if they decide to review any payments they take their time in unfreezing your account if they even do so. It’s ridiculous. Square Inc has become the most unconventional apps to do any type of money handling and processing with. How they aren’t part of a huge class action lawsuit for Cashapp and square payments yet is beyond me.

Call a square is I still have not received my equipment I ordered two months ago three maybe four months ago paid for it online with my PayPal card and I checked on it and they said it was sent out

Avantages

I've had to call customer service before and they were very friendly and very helpful. They were trained well and understood the entire program really well! Square makes call in orders, and online orders simple too, and it saves time for both you and your customer. It's also really easy to figure out how it all works. It's one of the most user friendly programs I've ever used

Inconvénients

Only complaint I could have, and it wasn't even really a complaint.. when you very first get it and have to input all your existing customer info, and them programming in your menu and prices felt like it took forever. It took a minute in between each new entry to save it and move on, so it took me 2 days to complete the task. It's nice now tho because entering the entire menu in, allows my receipts to be detailed and very organized and professional in appearance.

Price was a big factor. Square was every bit of 40% cheaper in fees and everything. A previous place I worked, used Apple pay, and it was constantly locking up or restarting itself, and the more customer info or menu items you entered into the program, the slower the entire system ran. It was very inconvenient more than once for me during peak times when we've got a line going . A good friend uses Square for her photography business, and she was telling me how easy it wad to use and setup and how impressed she had been with it, she had previously also been using Apple pay and got to where she hated it.. So her suggestion for me to use it resonated with me pretty strongly. I'm glad I chose it.

I liked how easy and fast the transactions are and how you can easily receive payments on the dot!

I would say that they could use a joint account feature.
