Customer support and engagement product that is made to be easy.
Avantages
Intercom is simple to use. You almost don't need to be trained on it. It looks a lot like gmail within the product so that help users become familiar quickly.
Inconvénients
I wish that you had more customization to what the buttons looked like. I also wish it had a better data tracking aspect to it.

Full suite for all your marketing needs
Works well to keep track of customer contact information and handle support.
Avantages
Email management, chat widgets, intercom has it all and a leader in the marketing tools space. Works well.
Inconvénients
Once you're using all their integrations, it's difficult to switch. Not an issue if you are getting good value from their tools

Review for Intercom
Overall experience is cool . I have enjoyed having experience on this software.
Avantages
Easy way to have conversation with clients over emails and messages. UI is great as well. Customer care is also very impressive. Provides resolution in best quickest way.
Inconvénients
Sometimes messages get lost and its tough to find the message trail of particular string. Sometimes unable to identify customers.

Really interesting tool
Avantages
Intercom is great in its setup time and can be pretty easy to use for novice technologists trying to reach their customers
Inconvénients
Although the UI is great, it can always use some tweaking to make sure that you're able to get things done efficiently and automatically

Huge Fan! The Future is Bright for Intercom!
I utilized Intercom to implement our Customer Lifecycle Messaging. We were able to target our customers based on specific events they had or had not taken in the app. This wasn't complex to implement with this software, in fact, it was quite simple thanks to the intuitive UI/UX within Intercom. We ran targeted campaigns utilizing the messaging functionality, both in-app, and via e-mail. Intercom is the CRM of the future, and that future has come now.

I have used Intercom to communicate with my clients.
Avantages
I feel Intercom is really convenient and useful for providing quality customer engagement, especially when desktop isn't available. The new update has added the search user function and message sending, which is a plus.
Inconvénients
The notification system often fails. Majority of the time I don't receive instant notifications, even when it's turned on in settings. This results in constantly having to refresh.

Overall it is a great experience with intercom!!!!
Avantages
I love that people recognize Intercom on the big company website so it really helps the reputation. Also the ability to have messages in one place is great!
Inconvénients
The thing I like least about Intercom would have to be the difficulty navigated the tabs within the software. Sometimes things are not where you would expect them.

Fun product that has lots of potential
I'm a big fan (and user) of Mailchimp, but Intercom is an entirely different product. It's simple in design and functionality - but it does a lot to make customer communication personalized and easy. The map function is great - allows you to quickly visualize who is using your site. Also, the different forms of communication greatly enhances our customer service.
There's a lot more features I'd love to see, but if they keep up the pace, Intercom will be the top of the food chain!

The best tool for improvign your NPS
Love their product and blog regarding product and design - they really know what they are doing and I feel like they are listening to their users!
Avantages
- Beautiful interface
- Collaboration within the team - you can always add a team member to a conversation (without showing it to the end user), that helps create a smooth workflow and a quick iteration to help the end user
- Like the score you can give to each rep. in the end of a conversation
- Integration with many tools
Inconvénients
- Automatic email setup could be simplified
- Improve the on boarding with "how to use the inteface"

Marketing Done Very Well
Avantages
Love the customization. Used this to message customers and potential customers, and found it to be a very powerful tool. I also appreciate how granular you can get when it comes to segmentation, messaging, etc.
Inconvénients
Did not run into any trouble. This is a mature, well put together product, by a team who clearly are working to improve it constantly.

A very advanced support tool
Avantages
Intercom is one of the most advanced support tools out there, it is easy for customers to find help, even if you are not online.
Inconvénients
The pricing is worth a discussion, as they charge you by the traffic that is generated on your site.
In a SAAS environment I personally fing this not the best solution.

- Easy for both clients use
- Great in-app messaging feature to communicate updates

- A bit of a learning curve for employees to get up to speed on the platform
- Reporting is very simplistic

Improved customer relationship
Avantages
It's one of the most used solutions and shows why. It's really great to use the dashboard, tickets and customers data, besides the chat works nicely in our website.
Inconvénients
Really can't complain about their services. Tried the "Inbox" solution and it's great, but maybe it's a little bit expensive.

Amazing Software
They are by the best in the industry in my experience. The only problem is that they are extremely expensive. For any small company, they get to be very pricy. Keep that in mind when making your decision. As far as features, they can do most things but they do have a few drawbacks. They don't give you the ultimate level of customization in their iOS SDK but definitely have a convo with them to see if it is the right fit.

Easy to set up and to use
Avantages
Provides a mobile app and Slack integration which makes managing incoming chat messages a breeze. Very easy to set up.
Inconvénients
A little pricey, with typical addons that cost much more. If youre a small business be prepared that the seat pricing takes over easily.

Amazing, intuitive product!
As basic or as complicated as you want to make it, and totally streamlines the customer interaction experience. Our users love that they can get a hold of us in one click and chat with a real person, plus it allows for us to send out automated messages, announcements, etc. We could not live without Intercom and we get all the compliments for having such great customer care!

Awesome support and features
I love Intercom and their products, it is highly customizable and easy to get the hang of. The only thing I am not totally sold on yet is their chat. I feel that if I see a chat option on a site that I will get an immediate response. I like the innovation of what they are doing in this regard, but am still not totally sold:) Everything else is awesome!

I've been using multiple live messaging apps, however, Intercom is award winning solution, which is great for small biz as well.

Great tool, but with reservations
Really a good chat solution. But, when my trial expired, I knew that the "admin" user are counted as attendant, increasing the price. In fact, one agent and one admin will pay like two agents.
I feel mistaken.

Think about a good product...now multiply that 10x. Intercom is just getting better and better overtime. They have a true understanding of theirs customers needs and purpose. We been using for over a year and every new feature makes us do UOOOOUUU faces :)
