Amazon EC2 is a market leader in the cloud industry to provide compute capacity. You can host webservices on the Amazon EC2 cloud and pay as per what you use. It is the best solution as you don't have to think about maintaining servers and spend on web services hosting infrastructure. Also Amazon EC2 handles the security aspects of the hosted services via access controls. A lot of webservices written in different programming languages can be hosted on this platform.

Inconvénients

There are no limitations for this product. They are a market leader and their services are highly configurable.

Avantages

This Amazon tool is really useful since it has great advantages that is why I like it for several reasons being the main one that is extremely flexible, easy to use, easy to access, requires no maintenance and only pays for what is used, account with an interface that is very intuitive in addition to that in case of having doubts about it provides tutorials or a really compressible documentation so there is no way of not being able to understand its use, also it can be customized to cover each one of the needs that search the user thus being able to host any application, or web service of business or personal interest.

Inconvénients

This tool works very well so finding faults as such is difficult, the only drawback is that locating a support team directly can be complicated but it is not impossible.

Here it helps in the interactions with the machine for easy manipulation

Since I have been using it I have not seen the difficulties about it

AWS being leaders in cloud computing, don't see much missing features but they can improve on better training materials for beginners of EC2 service.

Avantages

5. As it offers licensing within the charges of its EC2 instances, we are able to utilize various vendor applications and not worry about license renewal or request.

Inconvénients

1. If you wish to perform custom updates, it needs updating a lot of security patches along with its Amazon Machine Image which is quite complex.

2, Network configurations & ACL should be maintained properly so that there isn't any connectivity issues with our EC2-hosted applications.

3. We need to ensure to terminate the EC2 instances if we no longer require the service of it. Charges may incur if its left unchecked.

Avantages

This tool is extremely versatile, serves as a vps, and as a base instance for many other aws tools, it allows me to connect to external aws platforms simply, it has a high level of configuration, customization and security. I can specifically choose each hardware component that is needed according to the needs of the projects, and the platform is ready to use in a few minutes, in addition to having a very extensive configuration panel, with many configurations, in addition to a console, which allows Work through commands directly, without opening the instance, its download and upload speed is very high and quite stable.

Inconvénients

It is difficult for me to think of a negative aspect on this platform, however, what must be taken into account is that it is a fairly complete and complex tool to use, so the learning curve is quite steep.

There are following reason which i like most,

1. We can create multiple instance in same time with same configuration.
2. There is available all types of hardware where we can choose hardware as per our requirement.
3. we can take snapshot as per our requirement.
4. It is cost effective.

Inconvénients

As per my point of view, there is not any negative point.

The features and integration options EC2 offers is amazing and unmatchable. I have been a keen user of EC2 since years and I like the elasticity it provides which also gives flexibility to pay as per exact usage.

Inconvénients

The auto disable and turn off feature sometimes does not work as expected. I wish we had more automation in place to handle such scenarios.

Spinning up an EC2 instance is very quick, and it takes just a few seconds. They offer a wide range of instance types, and it gives us the flexibility the choose the one according to our needs.

Inconvénients

They keep changing the UI. I got used to the original UI, and when they change the UI, it is tough to find the same functionality with the new UI.

Avantages

First and foremost feature is its Low cost. It is very cheap to host service on EC2. You can easily integrate your service from EC2 with Simple mail service(Email Service of Amazon) and S3 (Cloud Storage). It is very easy to start and stop a container in the EC2. You can directly control and check for the amount you are spending in EC2. They have 24*7 Customer service which comes handy in case of any outrage.

Inconvénients

For newbies, it can create confusion as EC2 has so many features and tools. Although they have provided documentation and also youtube tutorials are available, one can benefit from the same.

Amazing app to go with for startups, provides 30GB free space, fast,reliable ,cost saving service and easy to use on any OS.
Its EBS(elastic book store) feature is adds on.

Its highly configurable and scalable, so need to learn alot to utilize its features.
Its not a con though but can be made even more user friendly, i liked all its features.

Default limit is 20 instances per region. It could be high for small micro instances. The good news is that you can submit a request for more resources.

Very convenient, very good. I really like their customer service, they are great and very very helpful.

A little bit expensive. It costs a lot of money, and you really need your company to pay for you. I am very lucky to have it covered using my company's account.

1) We do not require huge memory base for storing our data on cloud storage.
2)Its data processing speed is very fast and accurate.
3)Its cost is also not that much high.

1) Sometimes it gets into deadlock state from which itself restarts it and we have seen the erasing of the data.

Pretty much everything. They are a major company and have a tons of options to choose from. Amazon gives you like five hundreds to choose from, which is insane! They are fast, secured, reliable. The best option for you if you do machine learning.

Nothing much other than the price. It's very good, but it's pricey at the same time!

It is very reasonably priced and comes with very good variations. It includes different operation systems and hardware settings that users can choose based on their needs.

It provides many options which could be confusing if users are not sure what they need. It would be nice if it has a recommendation engine to recommend an EC2 instance based on some questions and answers with the users.

Amazon EC2 is a very good App. It is super easy to deploy your solution in the cloud. It offers plenty of features.

The price is a little high. It requires some learning curve to be familiar with all the features to use.
