Having this service is essential to my success in private practice.

Avantages

The software is clear and easy to use. If I have any questions, my "team" is there to help. They are always friendly and knowledgable.

Inconvénients

I would like to have more prompts in the "notes" section as well as the treatment planning section. I understand the reason for having to verify submitted dates of service but the two step process is sometimes frustrating due to the added time.

You Get What You Pay For...

Avantages

The features seem to be relatively standard to other EMRs, and I think this would be a good option for churches and non-profits who wish to reduce costs.

Inconvénients

It is very clunky and highly unresponsive. You can rarely get in contact with someone from customer support to resolve an issue. I would highly recommend using another EMR for your practice.

Kasa is a good solution for your practice

I use KASA to help me with billing and scheduling. I am new to private practice so it has been a big help to me for the administrative side of my business. The billing and scheduling team are very knowledgeable and are helpful when I have questions or if I need assistance.

Avantages

What I like most about this software is that it is easy to use and it is functional for helping you to run your practice efficiently. I like the to-do list for my progress notes.

Inconvénients

What I like the least about this software is that it is not mobile friendly. I use my phone regularly to access my calendar and scheduling, and it does not work well on your mobile device.

Just What I Was Looking for!

A+ For the EMR and mostly for the billing services they provide

Avantages

The software is incredibly easy to use and took very little warning her to be able to be comfortable and get it done. Our use their billing service, and this is the reason for the 10 out of 10. The platform is incredibly easy to use but they also do a great job making sure that I get paid for the claims I submit him leave much more time for me to be able to focus on my practice. The customer service is outstanding and they always get back to my emails within a day, usually pretty quickly and they always have an answer. After stumbling around with a few other options for EMR and billing options, I will be here for as long as they’ll have me.

Inconvénients

There isn’t a lot of ability to change the structure of note templates, but they have what insurance needs.

I find the software easy to use and the reports can be done in only a few minutes.

Easy writing of reports and access to printing reports

Avantages

The information is succinct and easy to enter. Retrieving reports for releases does not take much time or effort.

Inconvénients

The intake reports do not pull together well in a complete evaluation report. There is very little time once a report has been saved and signed to make changes and the unlock process is a cumbersome.

A great full service product and team!

Avantages

I like that it's not only software, but a full service team comes with it to help with all of my agency's billing and scheduling needs. We have positive feedback from our clients about the reception team which is extremely important as they are frequently the client's first contact.

great experience

Avantages

The ease of use and all information in place is the best feature. The software was easy to learn and support when needed

Inconvénients

none so far. It has been a great help to me. Maybe a feature that offered more reports or ability to adjust note templates.

Private Practice Therapist

Having the EHR and billing support has been very helpful in terms of freeing me up to attend to all of the start up responsibilities of opening a practice while also focusing on what I enjoy most, being in session with my clients.

Avantages

I like that Kasa is always working to improve it's product. I'm not quite 6 months in, and there have already been updates that have improved my experience with the software. I appreciate that the navigation between pages is simple and easy to use.

Inconvénients

It would be nice if there were the option to upload a documentation template that could then interact with dictation software. As a provider working in a niche area, pediatric care, that would be helpful for me.

I would be at a loss for billing without the KASA team

Billing help primarily

Avantages

There is someone there to help with billing and software issues. They are prompt polite and helpful.

Inconvénients

I have trouble at times navigating aspects of the software that I infrequently use, about amounts paid by various insurance companies also sometimes the intake information like goals, doesn't seem to make it to the first note. However, I am not very tech savvy.

Worth the money

I have enjoyed my experience with KASA overall. My only concern is that I have frequent changes of my account representatives.

Avantages

Ease of use. Start up is simple. Efficient. User friendly.

Inconvénients

I have no cons to provide. I am please with the product.

Great support and wonderful customer service!

Avantages

This program has been a great addition to a new private practice. It is easy to use, easy to bill, and KASA has great customer support. I like the reports that you can run. It has been great thus far for a private practice.

Inconvénients

I would like the date of the next session to show when I am writing a progress note so that I do not have to save and double check the date of the next session. Minor issue at best.

KASA is a phenomenal business resource.

Avantages

I thoroughly like the ease of doing my billing when I am ready to anywhere I choose and at anytime I choose.

Inconvénients

I dislike having limited technical support outside of traditional business hours, on weekends, and holidays .

Professional and Efficient

The professionals at KASA have are efficient, knowledgable, and goal orientated. It has been a great experience opening up my clinic with KASA supporting me the entire journey.

Avantages

I like the ease of use and that there is great support from the staff.

Inconvénients

I would like to see more flexibility in modifying the clinical notes.

All around great service!

Avantages

KASA offers a full service package which is great for those of us who provide service but also handle the business operations.

Inconvénients

I would love to be able to add to the treatment plan. I would like to be able to upload my consent and have clients sign the consent via tablet so that I can reduce my on-site paper usage.

Treatment plan component could be better. Also, if they could implement an electronic signature format so clients could electronically sign consent forms.

Efficient and Professional

The verification of benefits features is so helpful because it cuts down my time on the phone to do it myself. CSRs have been godsents to me as a new business owner. They bring observations or concerns to me when they are made aware by MCOs or insurance companies.

Avantages

I have really enjoyed the professionalism and efficiency of the KASA team. I receive replies to my inquiries within the same day and they go above and beyond to resolve my issues.

I have no complaints about this software.

Worst experience with any company

I'm currently trying to terminate my contract due to breach of terms. Their sales people misrepresented their products and services, they mishandled my enrollment and I'm currently 5 weeks behind in billing, their staff passed issues onto one another with no one taking accountability, they are not responsive, it will take over 24 hours to get a response email. This has been the most stressful, time consuming and expensive business mistake during my private practice. I regret believing their sales pitch.

Better than being alone, but still needs work.

There wasn't a lot of explanation regarding how to annotate dollars received or integration of additional software

Avantages

Consistent communication and overall availability.

Inconvénients

It is not compatible with outlook to combine calendars or upload files.

AMAZING!!!

Avantages

I made the switch from another software provider to KASA just a couple of months ago and it has already paid for itself! Having a virtual front desk that is staffed with kind and knowledgeable people has proven to be invaluable! I'm sticking with KASA for the duration!

I have not experienced any negatives from this software.

Recommended KASA EMR

The representatives at KASA have been amazing. Throughout the onboarding process, they were incredibly helpful and checked-in with me constantly. They rapidly responded to emails and made the whole process as smooth as possible. All of the representatives were incredible!

Avantages

The software is easy to utilize and edit changes throughout the document. EHR is a breeze because of KASA.

Inconvénients

It did take a little bit of finesse to figure out some of the navigation features, but once I did, the process moved much more quickly.

Easiest system to use with the best people I've ever found to help me!

Can't think of many con's. Before using this system I was using office ally, and before that to other systems over many years. Not only is this the best system I've ever found, but the most helpful and supportive people to make my business actually work. I can't more highly recommend this system, these people, and the work that's being done. Thank you.

Great company, great service

My experiences with KASA as my billing agency has been great. If I have any issues or questions they respond promptly. I spend less time talking to insurance companies, billing and more time with my clients.

Business changer!

Avantages

KASA has helped my business tremendously! I was struggling with insurance claims and now I don't. I'm able to focus more time on my clients instead of insurance forms. Very helpful, friendly staff! Highly recommend!

Inconvénients

I can't think of any I don't like about the software. There's a learning curve of course, but it is easy to pick up!
