The solution has a very powerful admin portal that lets you manage the information that you are displaying on your TV message boards. The system can organize your content into groups of TVs. You can also send standard content to all TVs and then add custom content on top.

Inconvénients

Cost would be better to accept if £5 less than the current cost by TV. May be kick in bigger discount earlier. Consider also 3 year price for bigger numbers with ability to add more and only pay balance to end of the period.

Ability to add as many Optisigns to a single location or multiple either playing same play list or individually based upon location and need, Setup extremely quick and simple, easy GUI interface that makes control and operation of Optisigns easy.

Creation of new locations and moving (we use firesticks) from one location to another. Site to site or room to room based on the setup

The software interface is easy to use, seamlessly integrates with other services and setup process was easy.

I wish that there was a direct phone line support available.

Avantages

Once your accounts are setup it is pretty easy to maintain. We're able to create groups for each site and assign users who can only see the group they're assigned to.
We can add more screens as needed and adding playlists, files, and images to them is super easy. So far users invited to use the system had no problem with the platform.
We're able to manage multiple systems across the US with little issues.

Inconvénients

We use an invoicing system so it's a bit inconvenient to pay by credit card for each screen. As we are using multiple screens for multiple sites, it can be hard to keep track what invoice goes where and who needs to pay it.
There was a little hiccup in the beginning on how to create accounts that would work in our environment and we had to redo a few accounts to get them working correctly, but this was eventually solved.

I love the ease of use and various applications we can use with OptiSigns.

I honestly can't really think of anything negative about using this product.

Avantages

OptiSign was fairly easy to setup and to use. You add a player to each tv. It lets you name each player based on what makes sense for you to manage its content. You then can schedule each player to play the same thing or play something different on each one. It is also fairly reasonable in pricing.

Inconvénients

The live tv feature and how you have to configure it. Also, the configuration is only good for one tv unless you have a video distribution system already setup that you can leverage, but you still have to purchase the extra equipment to make it work.

Easy to setup. Can be used with common, inexpensive devices like Roku and Firestick.

Inconvénients

New user email invites don't show up, or show up as spam. That was frustrating but we got around that be just manually adding users and emailing the password to the person.

Avantages

The ability to manage the delivery of content, safely and securely to multiple sites both locally and globally. What's not to like?

Inconvénients

It's a bit too USA focused for my liking. I understand this as that's their core market but they're missing a trick by remembering the 300m plus people in Europe need good signage solutions too. This really only affects the template section of the application so if that is a section you're not going to use, it has zero impact.

Love the versatility plus the templates offered along with the customization flexibility.

Sometimes the fonts don't convert the greatest from Power Point into OptiSigns but this is minor in my opinion.

OptiSigns let me manage about 20 screens in different location. It's easy to update and has a remote access function. Instead of using RDP or Teamviewer, Optisign save lot of my time.

Not really. My company pay a fortune to buy the software, but this is not really a problem for me.

Avantages

OptiSigns provides a great alternative to expensive computer solutions at less than 10% of the cost. We were using Dell MFF computers that were on a 4 year replacement cycle cost around $1200 and were subject to frequent updates to the OS. Optisigns are small and convenient and with the optional ethernet connector give us what we need to meet our security requirements.

Inconvénients

The power supply connection is a bit fragile. However we bought 20 units and I only had to replace one after I broke the connection when plugging the power supply in to the unit. I would prefer a POE alternative to an external power supply.

OptiSigns made managing the signage in my retail business a piece of cake. Between the app and the website, I always know my signage is current and don’t have to worry about downtime.

I haven’t had any issues or complaints. It was easy to install on a smart tv and is easy to manage.

Ease of setup and us. I also love how quickly playlist updates sync to each screen. It’s immediate.

It’s difficult to reach customer service. Sometimes I want an online chat or phone number I can call. I don’t want to have to schedule a meeting.

The biggest con that we have, it will not always stay connected to the Wifi. We then have to re-set it for all the slides to update

Opti signs allows me to create flyers and announcements for our student facing office in Student Affairs. Very easy to collaborate with others and share posting responsibilities. Easy to organize slides within a playlist.

I would like to upload directly from Canva into the app. Instead I need to download from Canva and then upload into Opti. It's not the end of the world, but just makes for a few extra steps.
