Le produit est certes très complet et puissant mais aussi très onéreux.

Avantages

Autocad est utilisé par de nombreuses entreprises, les dessins peuvent donc être facilement partagés. De plus, comme c'est une référence sur le marché, la majeur partie des collaborateurs y sont formés.L'approche n'est pas forcément la plus évidente, mais une fois qu'on y a pris la main, toutes les fonctionnalités deviennent très intuitives.

Inconvénients

La prise en main peut être compliquée lorsqu'on a pas été formés mais cela se passe facilement.

Avantages

La page est blanche, on peut dessiner vraiment tout ce que l on souhaite. Grâce aux bibliothèques on peut également télécharger des pièces / signe… préconçu… on peut également en créer pour les enregistrer et les réutiliser.

Inconvénients

Un peu compliqué à prendre en main. Les raccourcis différents d adobe font que l on peut se mélanger un peu.

Avantages

AutoCAD LT est un logiciel dont on ne peut s'en passer aujourd'hui dans tous les domaines. Et son efficacité à concevoir les plans et modèles reste un atout majeur pour tout utilisateur. J'ai apprécié ce logiciel

L'inconvénient est qu'il va falloir pour tout utilisateur d'avoir une bonne machine pour que le logiciel fonctionne normalement

Avantages

Les aspects que j'apprécie le plus sont la justesse du dessin 2D avec les accrochages.

Inconvénients

L'interface n'est pass simple d'utilisation, elle mériterait d'être plus interactive et pourrait mêler la 3D comme archicad ou revit.

Il est plus soft que AutoCAD mais conserve tout de même les fonctionnalités essentielles pour le CAO/DAO.

Standard across engineering, drafting, design, and many other technical and artistic digital studios. Minimalist approach at first take but the amount of options and versatility offered is quickly overwhelming/exciting. AutoCad LT offers a vast collection of tools for basic and advanced drawing. Our engineering firm has always used AutoCad and makes good with full 11x17 standard sized drawings for customers and internal designs. We like the relatively simple arrangement of seemingly endless tools, straight forward learning curve for starting out drafting basic stuff, and default options for professional presentations.

Inconvénients

Extremely expensive for overly complicated software lacking any real updates - see changes from Photoshop CS2 - CS6 and any newer software. AutoCad feels awkward, stupid, and completely outdated. It seems to be falling behind because the majority of users are older and don't want changes. However AutoCad cannot last with this and becomes frustrating to use for more extensive drafting. There are no options for speeding up and simplifying multiple pages for one larger project. AutoCad makes everything difficult and puts extra steps into some tools. There are some tools that are way more complicated than they should be. I don't think we will use AutoCad long term. It's way too expensive, too complicated, isn't evolving into an easier to use and better setup engineering tool, and obviously isn't getting any better with age.

It is easy to use and to make update to the drawings as the project gets underway in the field. I collect real survey points at the job site and can create the as-built for the city.

It use to be the print menu, but this latest version (2023) is much better.

The command section is really helpful for any user who is working for the first time. When I started as a first-time user, I didn't know anything about the software. Within a week, I was able to learn all the shortcut keys using the command prompt. The most useful feature so far is match properties which makes the overall experience very efficient. The Online AutoCAD HELP guide is user-friendly and has all the details required for any topic you may want to learn.

Not able to have a good interface with 3D models. I would like to have more 3D model features accessible to the user.

It's good to set out cladding panes and SFS design and getting pages set up for our construction team

AutoCAD LT will give most users all the CAD functionality they need when on a tight budget. Importing PDF images such as maps and blueprints into and being able to draw over them is all that most users will ever need - be warned price and ease come with limitations, this is not a 3D package but isometric build-drawings are generally what manufactures need to build that part or even machine you need.

I like autocad’s accuracy. There are a lot of copy cat softwares trying to duplicate CAD but nothing can beat Autocad software for Architects, Engineers and designers especially for construction drawings.

I find it too expensive. Good thing they are coming up with yearly subscriptions which is very helpful for small business owners or even freelance designers like me.
