Zoho invoice has client friendly templates which are understandable to anyone. You can design it according to your preference. It is also financially friendly for small businesses as it is free and excellent as an archive tool for your invoices.

Inconvénients

As I have been using it for 3 months I am expecting to find out if I can create an unlimited number of customers. It is not clear in the products description regarding this feature. Moreover there are more Zoho websites in which I originally signed up but it did not include the product I needed. After only some research I found Zoho invoices..

I use the free version of the software. I do not need all the extra features given I am a "one man" operation. I have used other software and this is by far the best.

I liked that it only had the features I was looking for, and that it wasn't overloaded with extras that I didn't need, which would have increased the price point. This was fantastic entry-level software when my business was still very young, that allowed me to streamline invoice generation for clients. I also used it to keep track of my billable hours on projects.

Eventually I wanted to level up to software that combined invoicing and time tracking capability with accounting services, and I also wanted to expand the number of users. After researching other options, I decided that Zoho Invoice no longer met my growing needs.

It's an easy to use application that I have access to on my phone. I can create invoices on the go and send them to my customers instantly. This is great when I'm pressed for time and need to send these documents off easily. I can also track who owes me money which is convenient when I have so many orders on a daily basis and cannot keep track of these things myself.

You get all the invoicing features you need as a freelancer, for free. You can do even more with paid features, but I found what I need with the basic features, and I'm thankful this software exists.

The branding customisation is limited to the logo, and the invoices are watermarked. If that doesn't keep you from using this software, you'll be happy with the rest of the features.

You can use it for free if you don't have to record so many different clients. The program is easy to use, looks professional and can be customized to your esthetic pretty well.

It works flawlessly for 95% of the work. It keeps track of time and create invoices. It's much simpler then an excel spreadsheet and allow to document hours in case of audit.

Need to request more projects since the initial limit is often not enough but customer service will do it for free. Also, creating the invoice can't be automated which cost me a few minutes every week but it's still much better then other alternative.

I can only do 25 customers details. So when i get a new customer, I have to delete an old profile and then those old invoices relate to the new customer. I cant delete old customers because the history of old invoices won't let me. Which is annoying in terms of keeping records should i need it for declaration etc. It's a shame they won't let you delete old customers on the free system but retain invoice history.

I love this billing system. It is incredible that it is free and has complete functionality and ease to have complete control of income and expenses and additionally keep pending collections thanks to reminders.
