OpenProject

Avantages

It was super fast to insert and organize the tasks/milestones for our project. The interface is so intuitive that we didn't even need to take the introductory tutorial. This lowers the adoption effort for all members of a team and therefore makes it more likely for them to be consistent users, rather than stopping updating the project after a while. The board feature is complete and useful to have.

Inconvénients

The only thing we didn't find so intuitive was how to export the graphical representation of the GANTT chart, which we might want to have to put in presentations & co. Minor issue though.

Avantages

OpenProject task management and the tracking of all the projects employees activities and the prioritization options and reliable collaboration across various Engineers from different projects is excellent.

Inconvénients

Helpful and easy on getting started and the learning curve is friendly and no technical assistant required to set the functions.

Avantages

I find it easy and fast to plan,organize and manage project schedules with this tool.It streamline and automate projects hence increasing productivity.It enhance great team collaboration on work assignments.

Inconvénients

I don't have any downside to highlight concerning OpenProject because it perform perfectly and suits best all our objectives and goals.

Inconvénients

The integration of agile module with gantt chart does not work correctly. There is currently a need for manual updates to the Agile module and Gantt. It would be great if the Gantt chart showed the progress of Versions, User Stories, and Tasks automatically. Currently I have to create a Gantt Phase and link to the Version of the same name.

Avantages

Open Project is very easy to navigate, with little-to-no training needed prior. It is easy to help organize project teams and help triage/direct issues found!

Inconvénients

It would help if the amount/types of statuses for each defect were customizable at the project-level. Each project is organized differently, so this would be a huge win!

Avantages

I love the ease of use of OpenProject and better than MS Project. Tracking tasks is simple and efficient.

Inconvénients

I haven't found anything I dislike about OpenProject. In fact, I'm trying to talk more people into utilizing the software.

Avantages

Good alternative to Microsoft Project, plus has some capability for swimlane formatting etc. Can get a lot done with just the free trial.

Inconvénients

Will need to purchase a monthly license for cloud and enterprise options.
