Asana is a great tool for any business that works within multiple levels. We use it across our organization to stay involved and collaborative. It's been so beneficial to have immediate feedback from team members about projects.

Inconvénients

Sometimes switching between companies/jobs is a bit clunky. There isn't a whole lot to complain about when using it, however.

Asana is not a complex software to use, it has a user-friendly interface and they have a supportive customer support team. Implementation of Asana is easy to do and in minutes. If it's features they gat them all.

I haven't experienced any challenges with Asana at all.

Asana is a great customisable project and task management platform with multiple features around lead management, workload management and automation features that really help you manage your organisational goals

For our use case this product really stands out from its access control decisions to its ease of use there it not much not to like and its an affordable price

If you know how to use Asana and all of its features, then it can work wonders for your team. Asana is helpful for tracking shared tasks on a team-level, such as a team that is planning an annual event with multiple tasks, deadlines, and departments (marketing and sponsorships, event logistics, registration management, etc.). Your team's Asana can consist of multiple "Projects", with sub-categories within each project for your individual tasks. Tasks can be assigned to as few or as many teammates as you'd prefer, and can be set to reoccurring or one-time only. Tasks can move between sub-categories and between projects. Our team also uses Asana for weekly team meetings, where we check off each task as an agenda item, and will sometimes turn an agenda item into a task on someone's to-do list, adding a due date and moving the task to a relevant project.

Inconvénients

Sometimes, the functionality and innerworkings of Asana can be rather complex for a team's comprehension. With some training and sharing of best practices, teams can truly make Asana work for them. The cons of Asana lie more with the users, as everyone needs to be on the same page on using Asana and how the team specifically wants to manage tasks. Every team has their own preferences. Also, as someone who represents multiple non-profit organizations in my job and has multiple emails/aliases, it can also be challenging if you have already created an Asana account with one email. There is a way to merge all your Asana "teams" into one log-in, but it is difficult to do so if you have already created an Asana log-in.

From time to time, Asana does change the URLs of their various tools, which means bookmarking can be a problem.

My only complaint has been my own user error—when I began, I had two different accounts with separate clients and different emails and it made logging in confusing.

I love the ability to stay on track with my team and be incredibly collaborative. In a remote workforce, it's so important for our team to have a hub that we're able to update our progress on projects and tasks, and Asana is a huge asset to our daily work.

I think tasks, comments, and other notifications can become quickly and easily buried when work piles on. I wish there was a way to make sure you're not missing important notifications when work gets busy.

I like how comprehensive the system is. You can do so much with managing projects, assigning tasks and deadlines, and working cross-departmentally. Once you take the time to learn the system, it becomes so much more useful.

It can be a little overwhelming in the beginning to navigate the system and use it to its fullest potential. Workflows are challenging to understand. There are a ton of icons on the screen that can overcrowd the page.

Asana not only allows a pretty high level of customization for task organizing, but it also emails you and reminds you about tasks which is probably what I like about it best.

Inconvénients

Asana has a default organization style of "do today" "do next week" and "do later." This means that when you look at it, it looks sometimes like you have a little to do today, and a lot to do later. Just mentally, it sometimes doesn't feel right. But if you set it, and don't look at it too much this doesn't matter.

Asana makes it easy to collaborate with colleagues and get on the same page about what tasks need to be completed. I really like the email reminders you can set up.

Inconvénients

Sometimes it’s hard to understand if tagging someone will actually add them to a project or not.
