Avantages

It has a lot of features for project management and integrates well with your email. The chat function is also convenient and the mobile app is handy too.

Inconvénients

There are some aspects of Hive that are a bit annoying. For example, "future" actions aren't actually future actions. If you set up an action with a start date of next week, it doesn't show up as a future action. The only way to set the action as a future action is to snooze it. So, "future" actions aren't really future actions but are just snoozed actions.

Avantages

This tool is a good bang for your buck if you are a small business in need of a project management tool, as a lot of the other tools out there can get pretty pricey. It has a variety of uses and layouts for projects such as Gantt charts, status view, etc.

Inconvénients

It really slowed my computer down, whether I used the desktop application or the web version so not sure what the issue was there... My team also did not find it very intuitive, and we had quite a hard time getting the hang of making the best use of the tool's features. So the tool is not for everyone.

Avantages

I love the ability to see the status of all the requests I've made in one place, and that they are color coded for the different kinds of requests.

Inconvénients

I wish there was a way to put myself on all of my team's requests (we are a 5 person team in a company of 400+ people) so that they don't slip through the cracks!

Love that it keeps all of my projects organized and includes a chat feature! It's the perfect mix of an Asana and Slack.

Some of the features are lacking, but I've been in constant communication with my rep.

The best part about Hive is how you can connect different tools my team and I are already using to it - like Dropbox.

It is a bit pricey for the functionality, but definitely the best solution to integrate a number of different business tools that we are already using.

Easily interface to use, so simple to understand, very simply organise what needs to be worked and check what has been completed. Jut so simple to use, drag and drop system

It is ranked #2 in project management sites, customer support was incredible, amazing non profit prices, and I loved all the project layout options depending on the user. And, the interface was great!

I enjoy how integrated the platform can be with other software such as Microsoft office, and the customer service is pretty good

The lack of customization in some cases it can be a hassle. You may have to rely on internal help to accomplish what you are trying to set up

I've been experiencing some issues with the notifications. I don't receive my colleagues' notifications right on time.

The good organization of the whole company is very practical for this tool. so much connection, so many options, it has many things like relating to those of the other areas, if they are in the same project.

It is very difficult to use, it will be very practical, but for those who use it daily and are constantly in it. maybe an administrator
it does not have languages available.

Very few bugs and delays. The software seems to function smoothly and the customer support is prompt and effective.

The general design could be made more visually appealing, but there is very little problems with the functionality.

What I liked the most is the ability to toggle into different views while working from any project window. This allows to see the project (and teammates) into different modes like: spreadsheet, kanban board, etc.

Being a freelance worker I did not found it suitable for a one man team. It has to be used by a group of people in order to fully get the opportunities and solutions that Hive offers.

Hive makes it easy to communicate with colleagues and the integration of outside apps makes it seamless to work on projects that may already be using multiple other applications.

Inconvénients

The interface tends to appear a little "busy". I'm hopeful that a future update will improve and trim down the visual experience of the software.

I would say ease of use and features and functionality, but they only work on occasion and are not as advanced as other tools.

The ease of use is fine but there are so many bugs with this software. We recently moved to this new hosting platform and can rarely ever log into our back-end intranet to make updates. It constantly logs me out after seconds of being logged in and customer support hasn't been helpful in figuring out why.

I can walk around my establishment, snap photos on my phone, make a quick to do item, and assign it to an employee. I get confirmation that it is done when they finish it. Simple management by walking. Also, the Gant chart, drag and drop list items to increase or decrease priority.

The personalized customer support is phenomenal and made us feel like we were the only customers! Our team loves having the chat bar right inside of Hive to minimize​ the need to switch windows.

The software needs to have a dashboard where it pulls data from the individual projects and gives you a dashboard of all project status in one view.

Hive has been a game changer at my company and within my department. It allows us to have eyes on all existing projects and easily navigate tasks through to completion. Hive tickets are easy to use and have streamlined our workflow.

While Hive is mostly easy to use, I do find myself getting lost trying to move from one place to another. After some playing around, I can usually find where I need to be, but I do think some of the features could be easier to digest from a user standpoint.

I really like this software. It integrates some different ideas that are helpful. Such as using a Status View, Team View, Calendar View, Label View, or Gantt view when setting up a project. It also has a great platform for collaboration. I also like the mobile app!

Inconvénients

I think it would be helpful to have a rick management area for this software. Or at minimum an issue tracking area for project risks.

Its simple, easy, well organised and user friendly. Easy to create and manage stocks and restock, track current supplies, track arrivals and returns. There are simple and clear instructions for everything.

Inconvénients

Not too much to say, in general the app is not as good as the web version.

The ability to create multiple boards with many color-coded cards that have the assignees' profile picture on them is a very clean way of organizing what needs to be done.

It seems like the endless pit of sub-actions could be organized differently, rather than it being almost the exact same thing as the parent card.

Hive syncs with all of the apps I use seamlessly. If I want to click and drag a module, it allows me to, and it's very intuitive

It is an additional add on. In this new age of constant new apps or signing up for another gig, it seems extraneous, but Hive really is worth it!
