What I like most about ClockShark is it tracks your hours down and sends them to employer and don’t need to fill out paperwork anymore for overtime. Which is far better for the planet

I love the GPS, and reports that I am able to generate for payroll and allocating jobs for accounting and payroll purpose. We seem to get a more realistic number in cost per job.

Recently upgraded to using Clock Shark from another platform, it has been a relatively easy transition to this app. I am able to update employees with minimal effort, create work schedules up to six months into the future.

Inconvénients

Nothing out of the ordinary about this platform, takes a bit of getting used to all the tools available. Staff is always available to help when needed online.

Avantages

Quick deployment, easy to add jobs, add tasks, see who is working, and when they get there, GPS integration. I did NO training whatsoever and my employees all got it easily (ages between 35 and 75). Overall this has worked nicely, being able to see the interface and everything is pretty nice and I like using it. I currently have it set to take their GPS location when they clock in, and again when they clock out. Not actively tracking them all day, however, the GeoFence is something I would likely use going forward, to see if anyone leaves the job site and does not report their time off site. Feature-rich!!

Inconvénients

Could use more reminders, it does send them though, but people still forget to clock out or take lunch. The "attach photos" link does not always work inside the app. It won't attach existing photos, but it will upload new photos from the camera.

Avantages

In our company we used to have timecards and I hate it. Thanks that we have ClockShark I don't have to compile all those papers again to get paid and my employer can always keep track of my attendance. No delayed salary, all I have to do is log in to my smart phone and you are clocked in, simple! Thanks ClockShark!

I am more than satisfied with this software it works really great! I can see no problem.

Very inexpensive and great feature of the geotracking to prove employees are on location.

Inconvénients

Reports are not detailed enough to run phones lists which are essential when looking for emergency coverage.

I like that I am able to track and monitor my remote workers. It's an easy app to use for the employees on their end. The web version has alot of useful features.

Inconvénients

The app needs to mirror the desktop software more and it needs to be easier to set up a schedule and them assign employees to it, especially when setting up new accounts.

Integration was very easy and everyone using the software or app likes it.

We have only been using it for a few weeks so I haven't came across anything that I wish the software did.

I'm not a fan of recurring revenue plans so that would be the only downside. That being said, the $5/mo per employee rate is really quite low. In all reality it pays for itself.

I like that the field installers can clock in and out of jobs without having to physically come to the office to punch a time clock. Time is money so the difference of paying an employee from the time he or she starts at the office and travels to a job vs. paying them when they actually start working at a job has been a huge cost saver for us.

Inconvénients

I wish the GPS locator was a breadcrumb format so I can see where employees are going instead of GPS tracking only when they change tasks.

We can enter details about our job sites for our technicians to see. ClockShark allows us to add notes and other details regarding the site. It also allows our technicians to add attachments and pictures which assist us in billing our customers

Inconvénients

We have experienced some issues when we add additional sub-jobs under a main job, it takes about 24 hours before our technicians can see the sub-job populate for them to assign information to.

Avantages

Has all the features we have been looking for with the geofence, notifications, clock in and outs as well as scheduling.

Wish there was more reporting features and custom reports. Would like to see in the future that the app mirrored what the desktop version can do as far as functions.

It shows them in one place, yet camera at work shows them at work.

GPS Fencing and tracking is a great feature. The app and being able to see where your employee's are located while on the job is an essential feature when you have multiple employees in several states.

Inconvénients

Not being able to separate and receive notifications for different locations. You can receive notifications for the whole company but not for a specific site or location.

Avantages

I am not known for patience when it comes to complicated software, however, the ease of use with ClockShark is very welcomed.

The only negative about this software is that it isn't free :). I honestly have nothing negative to express about this product thus far.
