Avantages

There are several features that I really enjoyed while using it. Firstly, the designs all look really nice. There are many different themes to choose from and all of them look wonderful. I can also set a front page to introduce myself and my work before people start doing the survey. It has made my survey look classy and appealing for others to do. Secondly, it's very easy and simple to create and use. Just drag your favourite style of question into the survey and you can simply edit with ease. There are also quite a lot of question types to choose, so it gives my survey more variety and fun to complete. Thirdly, it allows me to have unlimited questions. I really like this feature as it offers me an opportunity to develop my questions in depth and provides me a convenient platform to create something more academic to support my school project. Overall, it's a great experience to use this and I'm satisfied with the quality of my work.

Inconvénients

There are some features that I would like them to be included in the free version. Firstly, I think that the function of branching out is quite a common type of question and it would be great if I can use it. I have several questions that require this function, yet I was not able to use it for free so I had to change my plan. From this, I also hope that there is a function of labelling the questions in numbers so even if I couldn't use branching out, I can still ask my respondents to skip it themselves. Secondly, I hope that the results can be shown in an excel file, yet this feature is again only available in the pro version. I'm still a student and I don't have much money to afford this so if this feature is provided for me it would have been so much more efficient and convenient for me to analyse the data.

Love the user interface - I can set up surveys exactly as I want, get live analytics, identify and easily share actionable insights; also the SurveyLegend team are great at reaching out

Inconvénients

You have to have a pro subscription to export your data and do all the clever things SurveyLegend supports, and for me it's not cost effective to do that for one-off, infrequent surveys

Compared to other form sites like google forms or Microsoft forms, I found this easier to use and had more features, I had to search a lot to find a survey maker site that offers pictured questions as Microsoft and google weren't offering it, I'm using the site for free as a student and I find that the features available is pretty good for no payment.

Inconvénients

That there are simple things unavailable like the Opinion Scale which is usually free was unavailable and it prompted me to upgrade to pro, I found this a bit weird because on most, if not all sites this feature is usually free, I wouldn't have been shocked if the slider or even the picture format you had to pay for but seeing as there's a way to get the pro version for free even if it's only a week given I didn't make much of a fuss about it

Avantages

We liked how simple it was to create a survey and distribute it out to a large number of students. The ability to personalise each component makes it fit our school's context, including adding backgrounds/logos etc.

Inconvénients

We are currently using the free trial to see whether or not this product will be 100% suitable for our needs. I was expecting more from the results and analytics section and wonder if this is only because of the free trial. Before purchasing I will enquire about how many options there are to display the data in different ways.

Avantages

I was looking for a flexible tool to run a survey. I picked SurveyLegend because it was not as limited in the free version as some of the competitors. It is easy to get started, with a very straight forward interface.

Inconvénients

It's not very clear from the start how the free version will limit you, until AFTER the results start coming in and you realise you don't have detailed access to the data without paying. That's frustrating to say the least. It's normal to pay for extra services and functionality but one needs to know that very clearly upfront not when you are 'caught'.

Avantages

It was extremely easy and intuitive to add new questions and options. I especially loved how easy it was to add logic to my survey. One of my team members isn't very good with handling technical software, but they breezed through the survey creation in minutes!

Inconvénients

The graphic personalisation options felt underwhelming to me. While they do give you the option to customize it yourself, that can be a bit challenging for someone like me who isn't very good at design. Some better options for that would be much appreciated, or maybe a portal for users to upload their own templates for others to use? Also, the filter option on the live analytics screen was always broken for me, but access to the excel file with all responses let me filter them by date nonetheless, so not all is lost I guess.

I really like the fact that it's easy to use and the whole layout of the interface helps the user's experience.

When offering the option "other" in a multiple choice question in the survey I would like to be able to see the answers that people wrote, not only that they chose that option.

I like the easy to move, easy to add boxes for each survey question. It's very easy to select which type of survey question it is, upload images, and move questions around.

Inconvénients

Deceptive tactics. There multiple choice option of "Other", which lets the survey-taker type in their own answer. Using the free version, I was able to add this in to a multiple choice question. But when I go now to view the responses, SurveyLegend tells me I can't view the individual responses without upgrading to a paid plan. NOW they tell me, after I've already sent out the survey to everyone. It allowed me to create an option for comments but won't let me view them. So now I have to email all my co-workers and ask them if they submitted a comment in "Other" and to just email it to me. Embarrassing.

Avantages

It's pretty easy to use and I would probably recommend this to someone who needs this kind of service. I just don't need it very often. I find that a lot of people who need answers for research surveys prefer to use this type of service which is great.

It's pretty easy to use, but I still had to take a little bit of time to figure it out when getting started.

I am a private teacher with +- 50 students. I've decided to do the free trial with a group of 5 students for a 'quick test'. If that worked out, it would be used with all the students and I'd switch to a paid account.
The problem is, I didn't have access to the answers, only to 1, which was my test one. I emailed support and they promptly told me I could either switch to a paid account or fill up a long feedback form (at that time I thought everything was ok, quick customer service, easy to use, etc) so the feedback was positive. And that's exactly what they do. You give them positive feedback whilst you're still happy with everything but they DIDN'T give me access to my answers. THEY GOT MY PERSONAL DETAILS, my feedback and then they didn't give me access to the responses. Then they took their time responding to my further emails and BOOM! 'Your free trial has already expired'. Clever, huh?

The fact that you aren't clear and serious about the free trial. You waste people's time.

Avantages

I love that this software is very easy to use for beginners who are trying to learn from home. I was able to collect responses in a survey for our company as well as for our sales reps. We previously used SurveyMonkey, but didn't use it enough every month to justify the cost, so are trying out SurveyLegend. I love how many options there are and that's it's very easy to play around with creating all different kinds of surveys for free.

Inconvénients

This software was reccomended by a coworker, so I jumped in and started setting up a survey I needed right away, impressed by the options. I didn't realize that I wouldn't be able to export any responses to excel until I upgreaded. I probably could have found this out myself before starting my first survey, and I understand that limitation. But it would be nice if, say, the first survey you create allowed you to export responses so you can see what the entire survey collecting process is like before making the commitment to pas.

There could be more fonts. The options were few and there were ones that needed not be there because they aren't professional at all. The layout can also be more simplistic. I don't think it needs to have a floating answer sheet with a colored or uncolored background. there should be an option to make it just a white sheet.

Avantages

Survey Legend is in deed a legend, it does exactly what you want it to. Easy to use and very rich with features that I couldn't find elsewhere.

One of the features I was impressed with was the ability to use images in my survey. What impressed me the most was the spontaneous rendering of these images for both desktop & mobile.

Overall Survey legend was super exciting to work with.

Inconvénients

At times the loading of the back end would be slow, but fortunately the front end never gave any issues to my users.

This software was very user friendly. Should you feel lost, various options were available to learn how to use the different components available.

Inconvénients

The main problem I had with this software is that you could not interlink questions. On another note, if users were not eligible to take the questionnaire, there was no way they could skip the rest of the questions straight to submit without having to go through the other questions.

I liked how nice and pretty the interphase is for the end user. and how easy it is to set up. I enjoyed that i got to use the pics i wanted for the poll and it was aesthetically pleasing and not just functional.

Inconvénients

How the "secure" voting is not as secure as it is advertised at the begning. I had to ask and do a bit more reading to understand how to make the survey more secure. It is not as easy as simply them having developed a code for preventing multiple entries from the same user.

Listen, it seems as though this software could be the best out there. The surveys are well designed, and it seemed as though they thought of alot to ensure the features are available for users, such as picture ranking, which is pretty cool, when looking to do perception surveys.

Now, the only thing I would say, as a market researcher, is that the system doesn't have the offline functionality and it doesn't have conditional email notifications, which is a vital part of my company.

I would like a pay by survey option rather than a monthly subscription. I don't have enough of a need to subscribe monthly. I only send 1-3 surveys a year.

SurveyLegend is an incredibly easy-to-use platform. It provides great ease in creating surveys with varied question types and logic flows. The Live Analytics feature is very satisfying as well.

So far, I'm loving SurveyLegend. I don't really have any complaints.

It's very easy to setup a survey. The platform looks pretty and attractive both for the administrator and the person taking the survey. Results are shown in a very attractive way too.

It would be great if you could download the results with the free version.

The logic features. It's kind of hard to understand the flow. If the is something like a visual flow instruction like branching probably will more easy to set up.

Easy to use interface for survey creation. Feature rich for question/answer styles. East to see what my survey looked like. Had a profession look-and-feel. Positive feedback from the target audience.

Inconvénients

We don't perform a lot of surveys so the cost is prohibitive.
It would be nice to be able to configure the system to automatically notify the survey creator when X number of surveys were completed.

Avantages

I'd been looking for an alternative survey provider to run surveys with participants of training programs I run. So far I've tested out the features of the free edition which are better than most other - ability to add pictures, create as many questions as you like and add simple logic. It was pretty easy to use too - very simple and easy to understand

Inconvénients

I'd like to see the ability to create at least 2 or 3 logics in the free version - at least so it can be tested out before committing the paid version

I was looking for a tool that I could use to start a market research on the type of product i'm developping in my country. Regarding the current situation it was necessary for me that people take the time and enjoy answering my survey. I also needed a tool that would allow me to add pictures in it. The features SurveyLegend has to make the survey more appealing and intuitive are just perfect!

Inconvénients

Maybe an automatic way of collecting emails without having to ask them as part of the survey would be a perfect addition to what you offer already
