Easy to use & friendly helpful service

Keeping it as a one stop shop for all our Asset documentation, reports & setting up a catalogue to ensure parts are kept as required & there when needed. Allowing the history of the Maintenance department to be kept accurate & up to date.

Avantages

Still getting to know what it can do but am finding new ways everyday to streamline processes & keep accurate records

Inconvénients

Having to customise things that should come with it - like closing work orders you have to manually enter the date closed instead of it automatically entering from trades tab last dated & timed entry.

Mex Administrator

The team at MEX are very helpful and obliging. They are quick to respond to requests for help, and in the four and a half years of administering MEX through full implementation cycles, I don't think they have ever said 'we can't do that' to calls for product customisations.

Avantages

MEX Maintenance is value for money, easy to set up and implement. It's intuitive to use for the end user. The product allows for a lot of nifty user customisation functions which enables the support of client management of work processes.

Inconvénients

Setting up security is a necessary evil for any system. While MEX is easy to set the security for different user groups, it is a bit difficult to get an overall picture of what security has been set for each group without clicking though each menu option and screen.

Jamestrong Packaging Australia / New Zealand Online Training Review

Well structured and user friendly product, very good for contractor compliance and control of costs at site
Stores module in particular is powerful and very easy to use

Avantages

Jamestrong has been a MEX user for a number of years and has required specific user level training to utilise it correctly throughout our business group
The training provided at various levels was detailed and comprehensive. All participants enjoyed the training format and delivery by the trainer

Inconvénients

The requirement of specifically written interface software required for QAD or SAP

An awesome easy to use maintenance system

very good

Avantages

Easy to implement, and learn. Does all the preventative planning and speeds up the re-occurring purchasing

Inconvénients

No long term asset management functionality. I would like to see this implemented into MEX, so you can plan long-term improvements and capital replacements using MEX for major work at least 3-10 years ahead. Also no PM and asset criticality in system.

Masonic Care MEX Review

I have found MEX to be confusing at times compared to other systems that I have used.
We use MEX mainly to issue work orders to outside trades & in-house Maintenance personal, we then receive invoices from the external trades which we input into MEX, I find we seem to be having to double up on the amount of information that is required, ie you have to input the same information over various pages when you would think it would self generate onto these pages. This in it self is rather cumbersome & time consuming, or else I am doing something wrong.

The ease of use when set up,

Inconvénients

Very clunky set up, information drops off the system with any apparent reason.

MEX Store Module

Great Product, great capabilities, would like a complete manual to be available for referencing.
Online support fast, friendly, knowledgeable and on point.

Avantages

Easy to catalogue and find parts.
Comprehensive search fields.

Inconvénients

No "Bill of Materials" in the Stores Menu
No Manual just a training book
Unable to load multiple suppliers and unable to add a supplier that isn't "preferred" when importing catalogue items.

Not complex easy to use particularly at the end user trade environment

Maintenance management and visibility
Cost improvements

Avantages

Support excellent not only software issue related but good training support.

System bugs to be address quicker
A few system processes could be added, delivery notes, retail ability (Part sales)
A lot of time spent correcting the Reports

Asset Management made simple

No significant road blocks yet

Avantages

If you can load an app on a phone and start using it without much instruction, you shouldn't have too many issues using MEX. Fairly intuitive and user friendly with friendly and knowledgeable tech support

Inconvénients

I can't do all modifications to an asset on one screen. Having to go through multiple screens to complete all necessary changes is a little reminiscent of the SAP T-codes
