Omnisend

Avantages

The emails are easy to put together using their interface, and most importantly, they are beautiful. For a company like mine (selling jewelry online), that is extremely important. I am always short on time, so any software that makes marketing easier for a reasonable price is attractive to me. I've been impressed so far by Omnisend. I've tried multiple email marketing apps, and this one is my favorite to date.

Inconvénients

I am not entirely familiar with all the ins and outs of Omnisend yet, so I don't think I can speak to any structural issues or large problems it might have. They might be there, but so far I haven't seen any. There are features I'd like to see that Omnisend doesn't yet offer, like integrating with review apps to include snippets of reviews in abandoned cart emails. But maybe they will include that at some future point.

Avantages

Creating an email campaign is a lot less work and frustration with Omnisend. The directions are easy, the templates are fantastic and it's so much better than a generic email platform.

Inconvénients

The price is pretty good, and the only thing I would have preferred differently was the option of training by webinar.

Avantages

The fact that the software allows free use is the greatest for new entrepreneurs who have high budgetary constraints. It is very easy to use and gives very good options to format and present messages. This lets users create messages that they love and send them out the way they like.

Inconvénients

The application billing options can be made more flexible by allowing users to get one-off access to advance features for a very minimal fee (compared to the least subscription fee). During festive season, users will be able to take advantage of advanced features for a small fee.

I loved how this was way easier this was to use than other softwares. The funnels are easy to setup and they convert.

Inconvénients

The paid plans have better features which is to be expected. Free plan is basic but very good.

Simple and easy to set up. Free plan and free trial for paid plans.

Inconvénients

They changed their pricing structure (I was originally with Soundest) and I couldn't justify the additional cost for the coverage for e-commerce. Basing plan prices on the number of emails sent as opposed to the number of accounts or profiles isn't the best choice when creating flows for abandoned checkouts.

Ease of use, customer service team is very understanding, quick at responding to customer questions i will be upgrading again to paid service.

Product picker is a great tool & also the automated emails are great in keeping customers in the loop.

Inconvénients

Can't object for the price, just some improvement to the product picker widget needed, it would be easier if the product feeds off of the stores add to cart button.

The app got so much upgrade from before and now come with SMS features, and it pack with wheel of fortune to give discount for marketing use

Setting up campaigns is user friendly and intuitive - I didn't need to look up how to do anything or ask for help because it just makes sense.

From first glance, it appears to be packed with features. As we began to use it we realized it wasn't very fleshed out.

The customer service isn't great, and being a new SaaS company they really need to make it easier to speak with developers or have developers in the Customer Service department.

The step-by-step process for creating and sending newsletters, as well as the stats on the results.

The templates are limited and I would prefer to be able to create my own newsletter on my MacBook and then import it into Omnisend, and/or just be able to send it out using Omnisend.

I liked that there were easy to use templates that allowed designing your campaign to be a breeze.

When adding products it did not always select them correctly.

It simplified the process of creating these emails from scratch. Saved me hours of work!

Emails sent go to spam folders and many users are not seeing them. MailChimp offered the ability to change settings to prevent this from happening. Omnisend does not. I contacted support but they offered no solutions. Will be testing for another month but if we can't resolve this, will have no choice but to change.

As a new store owner, building an online store is very time consuming. There is so much to learn and do. I tried one other app before trying Omnisend. Omnisend was very simple and easy to use. I really appreciate the conversion report as well.
