Avantages

Buddy is elegant. It has the ability to do complicated things in simple intuitive ways. The combination of being able to hybrid YAML and GUI is a great example. You can use the intuitive GUI to quickly build out your pipelines and then bring it under source control with a couple of clicks. The GUI still works for read only making it easily accessible to less pipeline technical folks while also giving those maintaining the pipeline all the benefits of "as code".

Inconvénients

The dedicated number of workers and price per work is a shame in a cloud world. Would be neat if it was just based on compute hours etc. but maybe with some kind of fair usage policy for concurrency

Avantages

The Buddy interface is comfortable. Pipelines configuration is easy. You can customize pipelines in the UI or in YAML files.

Inconvénients

Occasionally, there are problems with the cache, and I must run the pipeline one more time with cache clearing.

Avantages

Buddy has a clean user interface which makes it easy to use. The builds are fast and notifications come quickly!

Honestly there's nothing I dislike about Buddy!

Avantages

We use Buddy to test and deploy Wordpress applications with minimum effort. We've created a delivery pipelines with few actions and hook up our favorite 3rd-party services for our projects in less than 10 minutes.

Inconvénients

None for now, we will see if something will pop up in near future but I doubt.

Avantages

Deployments are a breeze with Buddy. Every single option we could possibly want is available to us. I can't imagine not using this tool for deployments.

Inconvénients

There aren't really any cons I've found with this tool. Some custom gulp compilations run somewhat slowly, but overall that's not a big deal.

Avantages

We love the ease of use. We have tried many other CI systems and found Buddy to be the easiest and best for our front-end flow. We absolutely LOVE sandboxes, we find the most value in them. We constantly have the maximum number running for all projects to allow business and QA teams to view.

Inconvénients

There are some gotchas and things that could be improved. Making it easier to duplicate workflows across projects, for example. Sandboxes are still in beta and could use some of the same improvements. Making it easier to define a default setup for sandboxes, and the ability to allocate lower memory to allow running more smaller sandboxes at once.

- So many action available, and even when not out of the box, there is a high chance you can script it.
- So easy to set up a pipeline, especially when DevOps is not your specialty, all the heavy lifting is done for you
- Was easy to install and update
- Support is fast, fantastic, and takes features request to the next level!

Inconvénients

- A bit pricey but totally worth it.
- Some integrations are linked to user accounts

Avantages

BuddyWorks allows us to create useful pipeline. You can even pipeline with approbation and testing.

Inconvénients

Maybe some aspects of the interface. The cards from each project are too big. If these cards would be smaller I could see all my projects and groups without scrolling the windows.

Ease of use, after years of Jenkins, GitHub, GitLab and CircleCI I am amazed just how everything is accessible for a web developer. It was super easy to setup the pipeline, have easy access to logs, great speed...

User management could be improved. I'd like to have colleagues that are able just to view or run but not to edit.

One of the main reasons for switching over to Buddy from other tools was the UI and the powerful customisation it offers

Some of the setup of repeat tasks can be a bit laborious, but it is a minor criticism.

Incredibly easy to set up and configure compared to competitors.

The pricing is all or nothing. An intermediary price for testing and/or personal work would be ideal, somewhere around the half way mark to the pro monthly.
