Very pleased
Our clinic purchased the software and had our front office trained. Long story short, our office manager was resisting technology and any growth in the practice that would increase patient visits. After we became aware of the situation ACOM was more than happy to train our new employees with as much time and dedication as had been invested in our training program when we made the initial purchase.
The software has functioned exactly as described. Because of the support from ACOM, we were able to have a college student with no medical or office background handle all the functions that the prior office manager with ten years of billing experience was doing and then some. ACOM is easy to use. The screens are intuitive and it saves a lot of employee time.

We had one morning when the system was down for about two hours, but it was back online soon enough to avoid any big problems. We totally rely on it and do not keep a backup schedule in a paper form so it has to be available.

I was using Chiro8000 before switching to ACOM. Our office sees between 150 to 175 patients per week, and has been in business for 7 years. We wanted to get on board to become compliant with EHR requirements, and the fact that the EHR stimulus is available to us, why not do it sooner than later. I went with ACOM after a friend of mine who had bought it a year prior recommended it. I looked at 3 other software companies, and ended up choosing ACOM. We bought the PM and the DOC portions of ACOM and use both, including the KIOSK at the front of the office. It was a challenge switching software, but once we got it switched, we were happy we did. It is great to be a paperless office, where charts are not missing, due to filing errors. I am able to finish charting at home if I need to, by remote log in. This allows me to get dinner going for the family, and spend more time with them. You can create and print a daily note within seconds. The software helps to create professional, complete reports, and I feel good about sending these to an attorney or insurance company. It took about 8 months to really get it implemented, but ACOM was helpful in the process. We have certainly received less denials from insurance companies, and we also got our stimulus check in April! I would highly recommend ACOM Health.

Rapid software is fantastic, and very easy to learn and use. As Dr Hagene's CA and right hand man I have become very involved in the use of the Electronic Health Record Information.
Being in charge of assuring that all the information to achieve Meaningful Use and PQRS I have come to thoroughly enjoy the ease of compliance that ACOM has built into Rapid Doc, From the Functional Outcome Assessments to the integration of all information into the written notes, Rapid Doc is PERFECT.
When we attend training seminars, I listen to the problems others are experiencing with their EHR software, and realize what a truly remarkable product we have.
Yes like everything their are some minor problems, or areas where we would like to see improvement. ACOM has a truly OUTSTANDING customer service department, and wonderful representatives that you get to actually TALK to and will go out of their way to assist, teach, and develop solutions for your practice. Their Beneficial suggestions people also work with you and it does not take long to find your idea refined and incorporated into a future update.
It is without hesitation that I give my most sincerest indorsement of this fine product.

ACOM is proficient in many things
Overall quite good. There are some issues with communication between the practice management (billing) software and Rapid (the Document software), but I think these will be improved. At the end of the day, I am able to produce complete and professional notes. The road to create them often includes more steps than seems necessary. I'm sure this could be streamlined, but it's not bad once you get used to it.
Avantages
I can create complete and detailed initial and final reports VERY easily. The integration with outcomes assessments is brilliant.
Inconvénients
There just seems to be more steps than necessary to complete some tasks. The Kiosk can gather pain information from the patient on daily visits, but it is not intuitive, and often does not reflect the pain pattern that the patient is actually experiencing...I have to modify it. Still, it's easier than writing out the whole thing myself.

I love this service. THe Rapid PM software is easy to use and the customer service is outstanding. Very easy to get what you need. Plus, they are always improving and updating.
Inconvénients
Very small and specific issue - hard to put alerts on a patient file, or, rather, the alerts don't "ding"/popup easily. You need to look out for them. I wish there was a way to alert front desk easier.

When I started working with this company, I was nervous because customer service isn't what it used to be. I embarked on a huge project to change over software, and I needed the assistance of ACOM to get me through the transition with no down time and no delay of money flow. After just a couple days, I wanted to call the CEO and tell him or her that I hoped they knew what gems they had working for them. The customer service has been unbelievable. People calling me to see if there is anything they can do for me. The sales people, (after I have been "sold") calling me to see if my experience has been positive. When I was ready for the download of the new software, they ran into technical problems. The issues were solved quickly and the representatives were so friendly to me. Everyone has been kind and on the ball. And, the software is wonderful. It is very sophisticated and will help me run my office more efficiently and without having me be in the office all the time. I swear, sometimes I feel like I live in my office, but with the new software, I am being served by "it" instead of "me serving the software". Bottom line, it saves time and money.

Great software for chiropractic office looking to be paperless
Overall, very satisfied with the software and support during the first few months of implementation. Our office staff and doctors took this step into EHR seriously, and the RAPID software was a perfect for our chiropractic office needs. It is very compliant with note taking, posting charges, and in general being compliant with Medicare and insurance guidelines. Once you make a patient note, you never have to worry about it. The way the software makes the notes is professional and extremely thorough. And you will never lose another patient file because it is forever in the cloud. Everytime we had a question about the software the support team of RAPID was able to find us an answer and gave us plenty of training to boost our confidence. We have been utilizing this software for about 2 months now and we are happy we decided to choose this company over others.

Amazing for the transition of ICD-10 and very user friendly!!!
Avantages
The product support is amazing!!! They walk you thru everything and the equipment does everything for you!!! We were so nervous about making the transition to being paperless and then ICD-10. I mean our office had to do nothing but act on the instructions we were given from ACOM!!! They are amazing!

Overall I prefer this software over Kareo or Athena!
Avantages
Easy and functional program. Not much set up required and if so it is so simple to do. Transparency with clearing house easy access to ERA and worked claims tracking
Inconvénients
Does not specialize in medical facilities and has yet to be Macra compliant doesn’t come with PTWeb which would make it icing on the cake!

I had used two other EHR and management systems Pryor to ACOM. They both paled in comparison and one of them was more than double the cost. When I dropped a franchise I had joined, I also lost their EHR software. No big loss there, but changing systems is always a pain. ACOM's sales staff made it super easy to understand what I would get if i purchased ACOM. I learned more about EHR's and Medicare attestation in one thirty minute overview session than I had in five years of my previous EHR system. ACOM is the best EHR I've used. Everything you need, but yet not complicated. It is also completely customizable. My staff learned how to use the system easily and quickly and customer support has been fast and accurate. In my personal opinion, you can't go wrong with this system.

Our overall experience has been great. The rep trained explained and has continued to follow through with our office making sure we run smoothly. She is a true blessing to Acom Health she is an outstanding employee and trainer!

I purchased ACOM Health RAPID software back in June after doing lots of research. I wanted a program where I could buy the notes section separate from the rest of the program since we already had a scheduling and billing program in place. Upon review I enjoyed the layout of the notes and thought with the conversion to EHR, for the government, now would be a good time to start implementing the program. I then took a class on documentation and noticed that there was a few items mentioned that the program didn't have on it so I then went and purchased another system.
ACOM Health RAPID did state that they are going to be improving the documentation software in the near future, but with Medicare audits I didn't want to wait for these to come out and wasn't sure if they would address everything I needed. Along the way, they were very helpful anytime I had to call the company for either sales or technical questions. They were very helpful on working with me price wise for a program that fit my needs.

So far ACOM Health is very user friendly. I do not need to use a manual it is set up with the good patient flow.
Avantages
It has a good charting and set up for a chiropractic practice. It has many forms built into the software so their is less scanning and adding to charts.
Inconvénients
It would benefit from a internal fax system. Also the EHR and PM are integrated but a little choppy going back and forth.

We have been using ACOM Rapid for three years. As a national instructor on documentation, coding and compliance, I was demanding when it came to having the right software integrated into my office. I must say that I am thoroughly happy with RAPID and highly recommend it. It allows me to edit the software, so that my notes are versatile and sound like me. Too many of the computerized notes are canned and seem like the same thing over and over. ACOM Rapid allows me to make it my own.
I have done the Meaningful Use Attestation for the last two years. With the help of the ACOM representatives, I was able to receive $30,000 in government bonuses for using Electronic Health Records.
ObamaCare is on the horizon. ACOM is already on the ball with the PQRS measures in the software library. They are also ready for ICD-10 which is required on October 1, 2014.
Take a look and compare. Nobody can beat the ACOM Rapid program for originality, ease of use and support!

What is not to like? ACOM is available, it seems, 24/7. I have never had to wait even 24 hours before receiving either a callback or an e-mail addressing any issues. The software is logically put together. Users do not have to be certified insurance billers to navigate. I recently trained a new staff member, and she had mastered the program in less than a day.
Inconvénients
I would like a little more versatility in the reports. There has been some data I have just not been able to produce in the format I would prefer. Also, as an accountant, I would like to be able to see the transaction ledger more interactive than just viewing (applying filters). In the Charge Entry screen, I would like to be able to delete more than one charge at a time.

ACOM is highly recommened
This software has been a good addition to our practice. Our patients have been getting used to the kiosk system and now they say it is pretty easy to use.
Avantages
My favorite thing is that multitasking in the patient management side is a huge benefit. Downloading the ERAs is a time saver. The accounting side is very clean and easy to use and read.
Notes are very easy to use and to be able to look back at what was done with the patient and see how they are doing. Adding your macros is very easy to do so you can make the software fit your practice.

I have been using Rapid software for a few years now and it has helped me streamline my practice beyond words. I tried other software, and they just slowed me down. I was doing notes for hours every day.
Rapid made it much simpler to accomplish what I needed to do, in a more efficient manner. The "technology" is a big hit with the patients - from the sign in kiosks, to seeing us do all the notes on the computer and generating prescriptions, exercises, and reports directly from the computer in the room with them, and having everything waiting for them at the checkout desk.
As a doctor I have found it invaluable to my efficiency. It was very easy to use and the technical support help has been great. My direct contact with ACOM is Michelle Carmody and she is amazing. Always willing to help and get things done as quick as possible.
If you are looking for a note system give Rapid a try and you won't be disappointed.

I have been using RAPID software for my notes since 2011. I have attested twice now and have received $30,000.00 so far. I am halfway into my third year to receive another $8000.00 at the end of this year for meeting Meaningful Use with Medicare. The software is easy to use, the videos are very helpful - in fact I go through them every reporting period to make sure I have done all of the requirements. Also, if I have a question on how to modify something in the software, I can email or call for help, and the response is usually the same day. I have had several friends start using the software and they to have received the incentive money from Medicare. I did have to send my notes into an insurance company for a review, and I was paid, as they found nothing was missing in my documentation. If you purchase the program and use it as designed, your notes will meet the requirements for Medicare and other insurance companies.

Rapid is excellent at generating audit proof documentation. I've become the go-to guy with several local area attorneys because the notes I turn in look professional and I never get any "push back" from the insurance adjusters on the auto side.
Submitting claims for major med takes less than three minutes. Rapid generates the electronic claims and we upload them to a clearing house (which is free).
Our EOB's come in electronically and all our claims are automatically deposited into the business bank account. Some of the payors turn claims around in seven days, so what we see one week we get paid for the next. This is helpful for cash flow.
My office manager quickly got up to speed using the Practice Management module, and I use the Documentation end of things.
The best thing? At the end of each day, we walk out the door with all documentation done. No taking notes home on off days to play catch up.

I have been using Rapid in my office for a little over two years now. I have found it to be extremely helpful in saving time, while creating a very customizable and individualized note. The report feature is great, as this puts my exams into a professional report within seconds to send to other health care professionals. The patients seem to like to use of the tablets and Kiosk system. The company has solid tech support and we have not had any issues with time sensitive issues. We have found them to be helpful in the beginning while we had questions, but have not had to use them in some time, as the software is pretty straight forward once you have it set up for your practice. I have had two years in a row of receiving the government stimulus and, aside from this, the time this system has saved me alone, was worth the money. Best software system I have used in practice and remain happy over two years later.

The videos were helpful to watch in advance so that I received an understanding on the format of the software. Viewing the videos/tutorial prior to data entry was key.
Avantages
Downloading ERAs & auto-posting ERAs so quick and easy. The support staff was very understanding, patient & kind with me when we had our conference calls on training. She calmed my frustrations and anxiety thru the learning curve.
Inconvénients
It has taken me awhile to figure out how to make changes to charges that have already been uploaded, make the change and then re-upload.

Avantages
They set up a consultation with us before we started and really got a feel for our needs. I really appreciated that and it felt like they worked to make sure we got what we needed.
Inconvénients
It was a little tough to learn at first. It felt like all the steps took forever, but once we learned it, things sped up.

Customer support sold me!
The software has quite a bit of what I feel is overclick here and there, but you get used to it. Overall, great functioning system and I believe it will get better and better. The training and customer support is superb. You rarely have to leave a message and often speak to an agent immediately. My rep was the best person I've ever had train us on a software program. She is so patient and if she doesn't know will get you the answer.

Software at it's Best!!!
Avantages
Rapid PM and DOC are so easy to use. In the 20 years I have worked in healthcare, I have never worked with a software that was more integrated to the use of all of the staff. Rapid works from the check in process to the physician visit and thru the billing process. We have cut our work time in half allowing for more attention to our patients.
Inconvénients
The only problem we have had with Rapid is that when the internet is slow, we are slow. But even ACOM can't control the Florida Rain.

I like the ability to schedule every different area of the office on one schedule instead of having a separate schedule for exams and adjustments. I also like the doctor notes program. It is simple and thorough when sending charges and notes to a third-party company, such as an attorney. Sending insurance charges is simple and easy with very little steps to take. The patient dashboard is a great place to look to see the total amount owed and see notes that need to be seen.
Inconvénients
The patient payment portion of the software seems to have a few too many steps to take to "attach" a payment to a date of service. There is not a running ledger to look at where it is line-by-line charges and payments. I would like to have something other than the "charge list" to look at to see which dates of service have been paid for.

Has not been user friendly from the get go.
Avantages
They have a great salesforce that encourages and promises all sorts of promises, but nothing has been followed through. I was sold a product at the end of the year that was MU certified. But when we went to use it,
they were not certified, as of January. We were not informed that it was not going to be available for at least another 7-8 months.
Inconvénients
The accounting capabilities are non-existent. Basic accounting is not there. I would think at any time you could easily pull reports showing unpaid claims, unpaid old balances. These are easy concepts, but they make it extremely hard to do these simple reports.

The customer service reps were all very friendly and very prompt to respond to my concerns.
Inconvénients
Because it is so comprehensive, it is also fairly cumbersome to work with, at least at first. The learning curve is, obviously, dependant on how much time you put into it, but it took me around four weeks to feel comfortable with it.

Well ACOM is one of a greatest investments I have made in my 10 years of practice experience. The software is easy to learn and use, and customer support walk you through step by step for a person who only knows how to use keyboard and mouse. It works great for my office staff; it only took them one learning session to cover what we need in our office. I am sure this software will be one of the most important tool in a chiropractic office once EHR is mandatory in keeping medical record requirements for most insurance, especially Medicare! I am glad I made this choice and remember this software pay for itself by getting incentive from Medicare over the years. If I can learn how to use it, everyone else will, too.

We have been using Eclipse for the last 9 years and have found that it did not have enough chiropractic specifics. A bit more cumbersome to customize for our office.
As with any software, there are certain functional elements of software that don’t work the way you want them too. However, ACOM Health has the most usable options out of the box and also has one of the more easily customizable features.
It would be nice to have updated training videos on the website that go with the latest version of the practice management side. We would like the software even more if both Rapid and Practice Management were one software.
Other than that we have been happy with the customer service and software.

Rapid Doc EHR software is an excellant choice for Chiropractors.
Overall this software is easy to use and produces reports that are professional looking. You as the doctor or staff can make many changes yourself without requiring assistance. You are able to record the patients' input such as pain level, frequency, improvement and intensity. You then complete the findings, recommendation, assessment and daily treatment. You are able to create initial or re-exams with ease. Should you need technical support, they are some of the best technicians in the business. We have been using this program for 3 years and I think RAPID software is a great choice for any Chiropractic office.

overall, for the past three years it has been an awesome experience. Always something new to...
Calling directly to technical support and having to leave messages with a no return call. I have all my office employees call Oscar at ext 1100. First he is very friendly and always in a good mood. Takes his time listening to you when explaining whats wrong with the system. Corrects the issue in a timely matter. If you leave him a message, he always returns the call. He is very professional and very educated at what he does. Having him as a rep makes the whole experience with the software very easy. If he doesn't know he will ask his co-workers and finds you answer or someone else to help.

This software creates great documentation and can be customized to suit different Doctors. Software support has been very good.
Inconvénients
After using my own paper daily note system that gave me a graphic view of previous listings at a glance, I found it difficult to transition to a paragraph daily note that takes a little more time to read. I am, however, getting much more familiar with the software, and it's getting easier with more experience.

The sales team is top notch, but after they charged my credit card it was all down hill. The training and support staff are difficult to contact and schedule with and usually cannot be contacted. It took several weeks to get the programs installed and then several more months to actually get the PM program working. They keep saying that they are going to update the program, but that has not happened. We are losing money and I have had to hire additional staff to getting billing done and they are still behind. I will be switching programs ASAP.

Would Never Recommend RAPID
Avantages
The software makes both medical notes and and billing very easy.
Inconvénients
Issues would arise such as patients' pictures suddenly being removed from their file and being unable to add photos to any new patient's file.
It was explained to us that this would be resolved in a future upgrade. That upgrade has never taken place and does in fact keep being pushed back. To date, we have been waiting for over a year and a half.

Excellent software for the chiropractic office
I have been using this software since 2006 and have found it be excellent. It has been easy to use for all staff members even if they know nothing about Chiropractic when first hired. The system makes it easy to find your way around to all of the tools. As the physician I really like the note taking software. It reduces my time for charting so I can spend time at home with my family. The reports that are generated are a great tool to keep the practice on task and streamlined. All I can say its been an excellent investment.

The webinar was not helpful for this new soft ware.
It was difficult to understand the webinar, and Maureen did return my phone calls and I had several questions about the soft ware. Jared Meyers was the only one who helped us understand the software. If it wasn't for his patience and knowledge I would still be confused. I now am able to understand it and really like the billing part of the software. I really like that I am see to see what charges haven't been posted.
This software would be better if ACOM would be compatible with Apple products.

I love this software and the support is easy as can be. Just a phone call away!!

Easy to use and the quickest reports I have ever done. I have used other software, specifically it rhymes with myro cutch and it was the most annoying and tedious software and the reports were incomplete and not comprehensive at all. It was a piece of garbage software. Rapid Doc has been a pleasure to use. Plus it is easy to edit your notes.
Inconvénients
Changing up some of the notes gets a bit annoying, but nothing too drastic. Plus if you accidentally click on an exam or follow up, not an easy way to delete it.

We have had the software for 3 years and are very happy with it.
The system is very user friendly for both the doctor and the staff, training was minimal. The training videos were very self explanatory. The software checks for completeness of the note before it is sent for billing to help avoid rejected claims. The newest training video indicates that there will be a crosswalk to help change ICD9 codes to ICD10 codes. That will be a huge help! There are small niches in the PM portion of the software that we feel could make it easier to navigate.

I love the price - it's much more affordable than other integrative chiropractic software I've seen.

I wish the software was a bit more customizable. There are more questions I would like to add to the history and more options I'd like to add to the exam.

WE LOVE THE RAPID SOFTWARE!!!! ONCE YOU START USING IT, YOU WILL NEVER WANT TO GO BACK TO PAPER CHARTS AGAIN. THE FORMAT IS EASY TO USE AND MAKES SURE YOU HAVENT MISSED ANYTHING TO MAKE YOUR PATIENT NOTES 100% COMPLIANT WITH WHAT INSURANCE COMPANIES ARE REQUIRING. WHEN YOU PRINT THE NOTES OUT THEY ARE IN A NEAT FORMAT FOR EASY READING. THANKS SO MUCH FOR MAKING OUR JOB A LITTLE EASIER WITH THIS GREAT SOFTWARE. Documentation software is supposed to make your life easier, and this one does! My office has been stream lined due to the addition of RAPID. The ease of use and details are incredible. I have a high volume practice and am able to complete my notes without worry, regardless of how many visits I saw that day. In addition, I would like to state that I have been audited, and due to RAPID software, my notes are bulletproof so I passed with flying colors. Thanks RAPID!

We have been using ACOM for 2 1/2 years. The software is always up to date.
The transition from our old software to ACOM was quite easy. We had personal training and also tutorials for self help. Tech support is good at solving issues when you call, and if they need to investigate an issue, they will call you back within reasonable time. This software has a lot of features and we are not using all of them, but we are continually growing into it as we find more ways to make our office more efficient.

It's been 4 years of use and the service and support is still outstanding.
The software makes the transition from paper to electronic records easy. The training provided goes above and beyond what is expected. They answer all your questions and if they don't know, they find out for you. They have helped with my attestation for Meaningful Use with video training, and phone training. They regularly send information and updates via email so I always feel well informed. I highly recommend this software.

We are a small Chiropractic office that uses Rapid Software. We opened our practice using this software 2 years ago. It is very easy to use, and if we ever have problems, technical support is just a phone call away! We are a completely paperless practice, thanks to the help of this wonderful company! At first it was a little hard to figure out and we learn new things everyday, but one you figure it all out it's very simple.

This software has been decent but we have had several problems with it as well. Every time we have a problem and we call customer service no one gets back to us and we have to call and follow up. The only helpful person at ACOM we have found is J.D. He has been extremely helpful to us and always follows up. We hope that your customer service and RAPID software will have improvements in the future.

Very good software for chiropractors when it comes to full integration.
Would like to see more customization when it comes to Scheduling (ie. cut and paste would be nice throughout the program). I still see lots of errors on the Initial Visit when it converts notes to sentence formation on first paragraph. Doesn't always mesh properly.
On the Body diagram, I would like to add more spots on the diagram (as well as patients). Not all areas are covered.

outstanding service
Our office has been using the Acom documentation/billing services for many years and we can finally say that we are very happy with our biller, Fred Lamp. He handles every issue we have very quickly and professional. We have used other billing services in the past and no other company measures up to the standards and professionalism provided by Acom and their support staff.

Rapid Software
I have been a physician for 35 years and and was hestitant to learn electronic entry. Within a week, I felt very comfortable with the software. I particularly saw the benefit when I sent a report to other physicians and insurance companies. The tech support is also very accessible and attentive to my staff's questions!
