Hay una pequeña curva de aprendizaje, y al configurar inicialmente puede ser algo engorroso. En algún caso tarda más de lo que debería en sincronizar contraseñas entre dispositivos.

It delivers value for both personal and professional use without any additional complexity which might intimidate users. I was used to the personal version and was very surprised to find the business version just as easy to use.

I can't find any missing feature or performance problem. I've never used tech support neither for personal use nor at work.

What I like the most is that I can create an account on my pc and the credentials are also saved on 1password for all of my devices.

1Password is very easy to use with both Windows and Android. You can also login in from the web and see a dashboard overview of all the web sites that you use and have passwords for. Passwords are easy to pop in and 1Password uses biometric login on Android phone which is quite handy.

Inconvénients

Some apps are beginning to want to use biometric logins of their own which can be irritating since I prefer to limit this to 1Password. On occasion with the Android app, I need to enter 1Paaword app and copy a password and then go back to app where I need it (a few apps won't allow autofill.

I can't really say there is anything I dislike about this product -- it is so simple and does exactly what it says it will do. Some might consider it a bit of a security risk -- figure out one password, and you've got them all, or so it would seem... But 1Password locks them behind heavy encryption and requires security questions. It seems the standard hacker would have such a hard time cracking this software that they might just decide to move on (I couldn't say with certainty, though).

It has no free plan with the basics for users who might not be to savvy to dive into its so many features, the autofill feature only works on IOS which is frustrating to me that I can't seem to use on my android device with no apparent plan to be deployed for android anytime soon , it only comes with 1 GB for document storage feature which isn’t enough at all and with exorbitant rates if you consider to upgrade to the next level which is also not so impressive (only 5GB), you can’t change much of the predefined categories.

I liked the Chrome extension the most. It allows hassle free logins to any platform with a few clicks.

1Passwords gives a 1password emergency kit in a PDF with you need to sign in to the account in an emergency where your normal sign on password no longer works. It includes a secret key, however this secret key is difficult to copy and paste from the PDF. This issue is somewhat mitigated by the included QR code which you can use with the 1password phone app and as a workaround to using the secret key.

1password is more reliable than native chrome password manager. I can access the password on all the devices. And generate passwords which are secure enough not to get hacked.

I have not found any cons because I use 1password to save and generate password and it does the job perfectly.

How would anyone survive without 1Password? 1Password not only makes it easier to capture logins, it's a central hub for all things security. There's peace of mind knowing that this information is easy to access, even while on the go. In a business setting, it's great to have vaults to share with your team.

At some point, 1Password moved to a subscription model. For cost purposes, I preferred that this used to be a one-and-done price. However, the cost is worth it for ongoing security and reliability.

Hard to edit or update informations, I find it annoying because I have to launch the complete 1Password app in order to make a minor adjustment because I can't update them there, also The interface is a little bit overwhelming and hard to use then 1Password does not function with all websites and apps.

I like that it syncs between your computer and your phone. I also like that you can share with other family members. It makes it so easy to create high security password and not have to remember them all.

The integration on my daily flow is just great. The iPhone app works in most of the apps, non-native apps tend to have problems. And in almost all the websites. Also the browser extensions are great. This product has polished the main flows a lot and it can noticed.
On our company is vital to provide access to services so people are autonomous but reducing the risk of them taking the password to another service or when they leave the company.

Inconvénients

You don't get to share passwords between vaults. This causes me a lot of extra work because i have vaults for my company's team and in many cases they have access to the same passwords. I have to keep multiple copies of the password which is a huge pain when i need to change them.
Also the chrome integration broke somehow and i it forced me to switch to Firefox, not so bad because FF is a great browser but i think 1password changes a little too much the way the integration works and now is broken.

It is very complicated to sync accounts. I had a personal paying account but then in my company we purchased licences for everyone (including me) so I had to sync my 2 account. The process was complicated but I could sync them because I watched a youtube video.

Where can I start... Cloud feature. I have many devices with 1Password, and changing something in one device will trigger the change in the others. Also I keep my 1Password very tidy and with very complete items, meaning I never miss an important password, IBAN, and even my bank matrixes. I work with different teams, so I have one vault per team, which makes life very easy for sharing specific accounts. I also love the thing where it stores generated keys. I generate a lot of passwords without creating a login item right away. I can just go to the password generation history and there it is. Just convert it to login item.

Inconvénients

Inability to add attachments in the iOS device, the way you can in the desktop client. That's it.

When researching for a password manager, I found that 1Password is one of the best password managers to use out there; some of the great features for using 1Password that for the first time I have ever seen that a password manager is compatible with Mac, which is so great since I use my Mac for work related issues and personal use as well. 1Password has great customer support, unlimited password storage with 1GB document storage which I think its there cloud storage that they offer, A travel mode which I can remove important data from my device and I can retrieve it later, 1-year turn around to retrieve any lost passwords, two factor authentication that gives me the peace of mind when accessing the 1Password from any device, Cross-platform user, and Lastly, 1Password is compatible with various operating systems such as IOS, Android, Chrome, Windows,Mac and etc.

This app is highly compatible across platforms such as Linux, Mac, Chromes, iOS, and Windows. Therefore, I can store my passwords in one true source and synchronize them simultaneously. This app also provides me with two-factor authentication, so I can have an additional layer of protection. The best part I like about this app is that I can create multiple guest user accounts so I can manage the access of my credential among different family members. The administration control function/interface is also easy to use that makes me manage my password in a secure way.

The price of the app is not low and no family promotion is available. I hope more promotions to family members and referral discounts will be available in the future.

Like most people I have the need for several passwords and this program makes is incredibly simple to keep track of them all. I was hesitant at first, but after a few days of use I grew to appreciate this app tremendously. Websites, services, apps, social media all require a password and each have their own idea of what a password should contain (letters, numbers, capitals, special characters) which can make it difficult to remember. This app simplifies all of that. It's easy to use, simple to learn and most of all it just works.

I would highly recommend this app to anyone looking to simplify their passwords, save time and have one less thing they need to keep track of.

There really isn't anything about the software I don't like. It's simple to use, is aesthetically pleasing and effective. I can't think of anything I would change.

1Password is very secure, I can trust all my passwords to it without fear because they use 256-bit AES encryption and do not share my data with third parties. The program offers management of my data, dividing it into several storages. You can grant access to the storage to another user, 1Password generates an access password that is tied to the email address of another user who has gained access.

Inconvénients

In the Windows version of 1Password, many of Watchtower's features that report weak passwords and other vulnerabilities are disabled by default, so you'll need to manually enable them.

The way 1Password integrates with Safari on Mac rocks. Because it's a third party app, I always worry that Apple will kill it sometime in the future, but for now it's great. It also works well across other devices.

When I transferred to a subscription, the way the master password works was confusing. I still haven't sorted it out. Support were responsive, and if I took the time to follow their instructions I'm sure I would be able to get to the bottom of it, but I have a busy family and work life and I think something like this should just work and not require hours to resolve. At the moment, I have two passwords, depending on which computer I am using. I don't like this. I would also like a more customisable password generator. It has had improvements, but I'm looking for more options.

The ease of importing and switching from LastPass was great! And 1Password's Customer service has been unparalleled to other options we've tried. They have educational resources and so many tools to help you up your company's security, and they make it simple and user-friendly.

I'm the type of person who, if left to my own devises, would use the same password for everything. In fact I used to until I found 1Password. Now, I only have to remember one password but all of my passwords are very secure.

I used to work at a retail technical support place and I can't tell you how many people how came in after a sudden death of a spouse or partner and had no clue what the passwords to the computers or bank accounts were. I started to recommend a password generator program to people, all people, stating this as a reason. For some reason, this would resonate with people more than getting hacked. 1Password is great for this because it allows for family accounts so you can share passwords.

Getting it set up and getting in the habit of using it can take a bit to get used to and you do have to pay for it.

The common denominator is that it today's online world EVERYONE needs a highly secure presence to protect their data. I have used 1Password from its first release, and it's an indispensable tool. So much so that to everyone with a Mac, I recommend it as the FIRST application they buy (subscribe), before anything else. 99% of people who come to me for help, when seeing the benefit, sign up for a subscription.

Many of us complained, myself included, when Agilebits went to a subscription-based model. But if you take a step back, it is an incredible value. You always have the latest release on every platform, you don't have to use some other Cloud syncing option. For less than a cup of you get all these benefits. I sleep better at night when I've fixed all the vulnerabilities that the built-in security audit, like Watchtower, alerts have been resolved. With each release, there are major improvements.

1Password is by far the best password manager on the market. They were the very first to implement Password Autofill when iOS 13 came out and they continue to be on the leading edge of innovations in password management. They have native-looking, high-quality apps available for every platform, as well as an entirely in-browser option called 1Password X. They spend a significant amount of time in user experience, which involves a lot of manually hardcoding quirks for various non-standard login forms (ex. the AWS login flow where you have account number on one page and IAM login on the next). Update notes are always highly detailed and tell you exactly what changed.

Inconvénients

Although the desktop apps still support sync via iCloud or LAN, having a subscription to their cloud hosting is needed to use the 1Password X browser extensions which have dramatically better autofill experience. Consider a FOSS, self-hosted option such as Bitwarden if you don't want an ongoing subscription.

I use 1Password as a backup for everything my Apple Keychain stores. Some sites and apps don't allow for autofill (at least not for me) and as opposed to opening an iOS device, settings, passwords, etc - I can open this app from the main page of my phone and find passwords and credit cards, router logins etc quickly and easily.

Inconvénients

I wish I understood the difference between the free version which I have always been able to get from phone to phone and all of my passwords are there - thanks to iCloud, and the paid version. I don't know why someone would pay for it when everything is already stored in your cloud anyway.

Avantages

"Vaults" is my favorite feature of 1Password. It is so easy to open a new vault category and filter new login details to the appropriate vault, and then easily share with teams of people. I also appreciate having a Business Account and Family Account - I am able to organize both work and my family within one system.

Inconvénients

Sometimes the password generator opens and closes without saving details when I'm on a new website trying to create login details.

I had done a free trial with LastPass a few years ago and did not find it as user-friendly as 1Password.

Avantages

The most important thing that the software offers is seamless replacement of the apple keychain. It completely integrates with the apple OS from what I can tell. This is top tier because keychain doesn't work on non-apple products and browsers whereas 1password does.

Inconvénients

The only request I have is to add an automated feature for 1password to ask to save passwords you've entered on sites and apps that are not already in its database. I know there is an option to create a new login from the input fields when entering info. But I feel like it would be more user friendly if the request came at the end and it automatically saved every field entered.

Avantages

I like that I can use 1Password on my phone, on my Mac, in the office or at home. It is very accessible anywhere I need a quick check on one of my online accounts. I like how 1Password integrates seemlessly in my daily workflow, whether it be checking on an old account or making sure I enter the correct password for online banking. I've never had trouble with this app.

Inconvénients

The subscription based model never worked for me. But the app is quite useful without it.

This makes it so easy to generate and keep all my passwords unique, secure and up-to-date. With the family subscription, I have non tech parents who I am transitioning to secure passwords as well.

1Password is easy to use and set up new users. The feature that allows for segmenting passwords at levels of access is great. I have sensitive sites specific to HR and Finance and I limit access only to those who are authorized to access those sites. I have passwords stored that are open to all and access various news sites we subscribe to. I also have a set of private passwords. It's really easy to keep organized as a result of this feature.

1Password is very easy to set up and easy for new users to figure out how to use for their passwords and to access existing company passwords. I've come to rely heavily on it and it never fails.

I also use it for my personal accounts on my home computer and there is never any confusion as to whether I am login into work or my own account. The way this is done is with a unique master password for each account.

Inconvénients

Sometimes it's hard to remember the master password. Sometimes it's annoying to get a popup every time you log in. Other than that no complaints.

I like that this software alerts me to passwords that could be in trouble and that it has a secure encryption. This can bite you in the end if you don't save your master password but it should be fine if you follow their instructions. I also like the vault systems so I can keep my personal usernames and passwords away from my work clutter.

I mainly use Firefox as a browser and it can be a bit finicky, especially on mobile in detecting the correct password but this is a minor annoyance.

1Password is by far my favorite password manager to date. It is easy to install and easy to use. I love the easy to understand format of this password manager. When handing my important accounts and managing different logins, I like to have confidence that I am always going to be able to access my accounts and 1Password makes that possible. For people handing multiple logins to the same web domain, this is by far the best value for your money. I highly recommend this for agency usage.

Inconvénients

In the time that I have spent using 1Password, I have not encountered any problems or majors cons with this password management software. I haven't worked with many other password managers to compare to would be my only major con regarding this software but I have no reason to change from this software.

I have over 1,200 items and the menu bar icon is a little slow to open sometimes on my M1 MacBook Pro. I just installed 7.9.3 and it is opening much more quickly now.

Fantastic integration on macOS, iOS, Windows and beyond in my uses. Allows me to effortlessly use different passwords for everything, and also handles one time codes with great ease, copying them into clipboard and then restoring the old clipboard contents 30 seconds later! Watchtower is great too as it keeps an eye on if my password has been compromised, which now even notifies me with a notification. Highly recommended. Much better than keeping all my passwords in an encrypted word document or note!

The new subscription model isn't as great. I preferred the older model of purchasing the software and paying for the upgrade when the time was right.

I like the helpful popups in Google Chrome when it suggests a new, secure password for me when I create a new account on a platform, and I definitely appreciate it stored all in one platform securely.

I had one experience where I was logged out, and the master password was lost. So that was an issue I had with 1Password that really was frustrating. Also, sometimes the single sign on touch won't work, and I have to manually enter the master password, which is a bit of a small hassle when it (occassionally) happens.

I absolutely love the compatibility this program has with my browser and the websites I visit regularly, while still keeping my information safe. I have confidently used this program for years with no security breaches. It's safe. Also, there's no way I could remember as many passwords as I have without it. This program is a lifesaver fo anyone who needs to use technology on a frequent basis.

I think it could probably just have a little tweaking done to make it a little more atheistically pleasing. Also, sometimes when I click on the website for the password I'm trying to get, it boots me out and makes me go in again.

It is the easiest way to save or update passwords for websites and cookies and all saved data becomes secure in one place, also this data will be retrieved automatically for use once I requested it.

Sometimes, especially when using low internet speed connections the workflow takes so much time to load, I recommend creating a special build "lowered version" for such internet speed.
