Non-intrusive backup software.
The software was quick and easy to install, and the first backup doesn't take too long. Once you have it set up, there's a small green dot beside everything to let you know it's safely backed up by Carbonite. Wonderful software.
Avantages
By far - what I most like about Carbonite is once it's installed, you pretty much forget about it. Lots of backup software requires frequent attention, but Carbonite just does its thing without bothering you.
Inconvénients
There's nothing negative to say about Carbonite.

Use Carbonite if you don't want to risk losing your data on your computer
Avantages
I have used Carbonite in the past when I was running a company with 10 employees. One of my worst fears in the world would be having a computer corrupt or damaged and not able to access the files. It is better to be prepared than kick yourself later for not doing it. It was easy to set up carbonite on all of the computer and synced the backup on changes that were made within the computer. You select what folders that carbonite will consistently backup, such as my documents or customer invoices folder etc. The plan did not have any data limits on the amount of data you can backup. Carbonite really saved us when one of the disgruntled employees was trying to maliciously delete important documents and negatively hurt the company. It was about as simple as can be to retrieve the documents that were deleted and so nothing bad happened in result of this individuals actions. I never noticed any computer performance when running this software on a computer. I was surprised because I thought it would affect the computer in a negative way. I would recommend Carbonite for anybody dealing with important documents on a computer that cannot lose the information.
Inconvénients
The least of what I liked about this is probably pricing. I feel like it should be a little lower for a backup system. There are quite a few plans to choose from but think the pricing for all of them should be a little lower. Other than that everything is perfect!

SUPER EASY back up for financial services firms. easy set up
Being a financial services firm we have to have a specific back up system for our industry. this one is great, meets all the needs of our compliance department and We can customize the backups.
Avantages
I had been using an onsite back up system and tried the 30 day free trial with Carbonite. super easy to set up and they had great follow up to get us going
Inconvénients
I haven't really had any problems with Carbonite yet. it runs in the back ground constantly and i never even notice it's there. everything I want is backed up!

Easy cloud data back up for multiple users on one account.
Avantages
It's very easy to set up multiple users with separate log ins on one account. This allows additional security, which is appreciated.
Inconvénients
Data backups will occasionally run during business hours and slow down bandwidth, but you can always pause a back up for 30 minutes up to 8 hours.

Great seamless product
This is an absolute great product. I highly recommend it.
Avantages
I really like that Carbonite runs in the background and takes up the least amount of computer resources as possible.
Inconvénients
The one thing I like the least is actually a compliment. Carbonite uses so little resources to backup that I find myself checking if it actually backed up my files. So far everytime I check the files have been backed up.

Great UI for a cloud backup service
Avantages
What i liked most was how this software let you schedule the backups. You could say what hours you wanted it to work so that it wouldn't slow down the interent connection for users in the office. Was also MacOS compatible
Inconvénients
Pricing ultimately was too much for the amount of data we needed to upload into the cloud. Decide to switch to something cheaper after analyzing the costs.

Convenient Data Backup
Avantages
I enjoyed the ease of the program running at night to keep all of my data backed up and secure. It also was wonderful to click a link and have everything restored to the new computer after my harddrive failed.
Inconvénients
It seemed it took a lot of extra steps to ensure photos were backed up.

Not Reliable
The automatic backup was very useful, when it worked. If all of my data was backed up consistently it would be the best backup software I've used.
Avantages
I liked the automatic saves mostly, as I would often forget to backup otherwise.
Inconvénients
I constantly received errors that all my data was not able to be backed up, but wouldn't give me details on what wasn't saved. It left me wondering what data would be recoverable and what was lost. I didn't have time to mess with figuring it out.

Very Useful
Avantages
I like that I dont have to worry about my files disappearing on me or accidentally being deleted and gone forever. We have Carbonite on every computer here and it is honestly a God Send.
Inconvénients
There is nothing that I dislike about this software.

Prefer iCloud
Avantages
I used this back when iCloud and OneDrive didn't exist, and it was very helpful.
Inconvénients
I think now, iCloud and OneDrive have all of Carbonite's functionalities, and they're easier to use/more common.

Silently keeping our information safe
We have used Carbonite for a few months now. I enjoy that it runs on it's own and I don't have to worry about doing a manual back up.
Avantages
This program runs seamlessly in the background.

I don't have anything negative to say about it.

Going paperless!
Avantages
It was a seamless process, backing everything up! We went to a paperless office.
Inconvénients
I don't have any qualms with this software. It did what I needed it to do.
