Fantastic product Expensify
Overall it's amazing products to check the expenses and reimbursement of that from the authorities.
Avantages
We can easily track the record of expenses and find out particular person with whom those expenses are paid.Attachments are also very easily uploaded.
Inconvénients
Everything is amazing about product. One thing which i feel that is not good for product is anyone can see the expense on the portal u just need id and password.

Best product Easy to use
I have used this software for more than 2 years. I am certified user in Expensify. Expensify is easy to use, easy navigation, clear dashboard, custom reports and many more features. Anyone can easily use it. there is no techy experience required to use this software. I have used this for expenses record, travel management and time and expense recording.
Avantages
Expensify is one of the best software to record daily spends and claim reimbursements. Its easy to use, easy to navigate, simple dashboard. Anyone can use this easily. You can pull combine as well as singular reports for the employees.
Inconvénients
In reporting I have faced the formatting issues. due to this its take time to make that report correct.

Cost and reporting features. I wish there were more options to pull reports and show the detail of the receipts attached. Better linking with emailed receipts.

Overcomplicated setup
Necessary evil at the moment. The accounting integrates well with Sage Intacct. Painful to set up new accounts, add new cards, etc.
Avantages
Accounting system integration is pretty simple to set up.
Inconvénients
Support never seems to know how to help, throws up their hands usually. Workflow is frustrating - never quite sure how the routing is working. Forces you to set up multiple domains to have multiple accounts at the same institution.

Great in theory, from a bookkeeping POV
Avantages
When working properly, it easily brings account codes, jobs and copies of receipts into accounting software. It links to various credit cards with the paid version for easy reconciliations. The biggest benefit for my application was having the individual card users coding and providing backup for their transactions with the ability to then very easily reconcile in the account software (I use Xero).
Inconvénients
The customer service is the worst I've ever encountered, of all companies I've ever worked with in my life. All questions are submitted via chat with a minimum of 2-4 hours between responses. This makes a conversation impossible. There is no help with initial setup or training, which would likely reduce all subsequent problems. Even for an accounting firm who wants to implement the software to a number of clients, there is no personal help.
There are constant issues with the credit card links and the sync needs to be manually updated to reconnect. This is not apparent until the user realizes that transactions are missing. From a workflow perspective, these issues should be resolved automatically or a notification received.
There are constant changes within the software without forewarning. This makes using this product a constant battle with regularity. It's also not as intuitive as it should be. My clients often tell me the same, that the software just simply doesn't work well.
As a small addon to a much larger web of integrated softwares, the amount of issues I had with this software makes it not worth using for my firm. My frustrations with getting it set up properly for my clients was met with indifference by the staff. Ultimately, in a world with many other options, I was forced to go elsewhere.

Great Software - Highly Recommend!
Great software. I would highly recommend. I put up a fight anytime there are talks of switching to consolidate software with our parent company.
Avantages
It's easy to use from a user and admin perspective. Without any IT skills, you can easily customize the platform to meet your needs. Expensify is intergrates with Netsuite Oracle.
Inconvénients
As an policy admin, I still don't have 100% control. If an employee leaves and has a $0 open report, it's hard for me to delete. There are weird quirks like that from an admin perspective.

Review of Expensify
It has streamlined our expense tracking and reimbursement process. Much less work on the office staff to organize receipts.
Avantages
Very functional app to use on the go. Doesn't take a tremendous amount of time to get all the details entered and picture of receipt captured. No more lost receipts!
Inconvénients
Haven't found anything not to like. Biggest issue is user error but not product issue.

I love Expensify!
Save tons of time for reviewing, approving and reimbursing to employees.
Avantages
It saves employees a lot of time and hassle on doing the paper work including keeping the receipts. Employees only need to take a picture of the receipt and submit with their phone. It is easy and timely. If expenses are not submitted immediately, at least the scanned receipts are kept in Expensify for employees to submit anytime later. With the feature of the scanned receipts, no more keeping the stack of paper receipts!
Inconvénients
Syncing Expensify with accounting software (Xero) in order to get a complete and updated customer list is not 100% there yet. A lot of times, we couldn't submit an expense marking billable because the customer is not available in the drop down window in Expensify. This requires accountants like us to do extra work in accounting software (Xero) to fix the entry.

Expensify tracks your expenses flawlessly!
Avantages
The thing I like the most about expensify is that it is super easy to use and isn't a hassle to integrate into the natural workflow like other softwares. All you need to do is just take a quick photo and its already on the software. Controlling your expenses in an easy to digest and manage application makes it less stressful and exhausting to make sure everything is in check. I didn't even know I wanted expensify until I used it.
Inconvénients
There are some minor features that I would like to see added in the future, but as of now it is still a great product to use.

Expensify Admin will NEED Lots of Time for Training
Expensify is a good product. I'm not sure yet about the Expensify Cards, after ten days we still have not been approved.
Avantages
Works quite well after you've learned their website and unique terminology.
Inconvénients
I would not recommend applying for their Expensify Card, it requires you and your IT specialist to set aside at least a day and a half to wade through their untested, obscure and complex requirements. However, if you don't sign up for the Expensify Card the monthly fee will increase.

Customer Service is ABHORRENT!!
I would not advise my clients to use this application. Perhaps someday they will figure out how to handle customers and have some sort of live support. But until then...stay clear.

Easy as an employee to use for submitting expenses
Inconvénients
How do I stress that their customer service is the worst I have ever experienced? Ever,..from any company!! If you need help, prepare to wait for days (and maybe more days) before you will get an email answer. Items/problems that a phone call would likely solve in 20 minutes will take you a week to complete because of the back and forth and wait time in between. The representatives will not read your emails carefully and will ask questions you already gave answers and then your wait time is yet extended again for anything helpful. You will never speak to a person!!! I even scheduled an online appointment two days in advance and they cancelled 3 minutes before the designated start time because they emailed me and asked me a question and decided they wanted me to do this in another department. It was a question that they should have known about my account since it is their application.

Getting Too Expensive
We encourage our clients to use expense tracking software and have signed several up for Expensify. Although we have received good feedback about the functionality, we have heard negative comments about cost.
Avantages
The user interface of Expensify is simple and convenient. I like the functionality of the app to capture receipts.
Inconvénients
In the beginning Expensify's cost was reasonable. Over time the costs have increased. An additional knock is pushing users to sign up for their Expensify Card. Lastly, the smart scan feature can take a bit of time.

Comprehensive Receipt and Expense Management Solution for Small Businesses
I recommend Expensify to all my clients. I adore their software and my clients love how easy it is to manage their expenses.

Needlessly complicated
I guess it's better than doing expense reports in Excel or by hand, but it's such a complex piece of software that it seems more like a solution looking for a problem than a solution to a problem. Maybe it would add more value in a larger organization with lots of expense reports (I use it with a client that requires 1-2 expense reports per month).
Avantages
The software allows for online creation and approval of expense reports and credit card expense tracking. Expensify is an improvement over doing these tasks manually.
Inconvénients
The interface is needlessly complicated and it's difficult to learn how to use and troubleshoot problems. There's this AI "concierge" built in to Expensify that I have found more often annoying than helpful. The credit card feeds break down sometimes, either not capturing expenses or applying the wrong dates to expenses, which fouls up the feed between Expensify and the GL software. There is a feature called "copilot mode" that allows users to access each other's accounts, which I still find confusing. It looks like Expensify is trying to make this a nice-looking interface with a good user experience, but they're just kind of missing the mark in my opinion.

Expensify Solves the Receipt Problem
Expensify has solved the problem of getting receipts from clients that I need to do their bookkeeping properly. A great help to me and my client.
Avantages
Expensify has been a big help for my nonprofit client to get me all the receipts I need to do their bookkeeping. Plus my client can trash all those pesky paper receipts because they are now digital and stored on Expensify. All you have to do is either scan or take a picture of the receipts with your phone and through the Expensify app and it shows up right there. Here is another bonus of using Expensify, it can integrate with Quickbooks online and classify transactions for you and put them directly into the register. For me the best part is that it can digitize and store receipts and I can get them from my client without her having to physically give them to me. So much easier!
Inconvénients
A couple of cons with this software is that when it's populating a report from the receipts scanned or photographed it sometimes has errors. Either it can read the receipt or it can decipher what classification it should be under. You might have to go in and fix it sometimes. Another annoyance is if you tell it to transfer classified transactions over to Quickbooks online and you have your bank account connected as well it can produce duplicate transactions. So watch out for that.

Easy to use expense report software
Avantages
Expensify is great as it works as both an app and a web program. I can easily scan receipts when on a business lunch or forward emails for purchases and everything comes together easily as a monthly report.
Inconvénients
Sometimes need to merge transactions or delete duplicates.

We were able to track down monthly expenses and certain items that needed to be reimbursed, recorded, or submitted.
Avantages
It categorizes expenses as well as uploads receipts and archives things neatly.
Inconvénients
Nothing so far; it's been super useful. Sometimes uploading make take awhile, but that's minor.

Makes refunding employees easy!
Excellent way of reducing the amount of paper trail and the amount of e-mails.
Avantages
For a company that has a lot of departments and different head of departments that are the ones that approve the refunding of employee's expenses, this is an excellent tool. It makes life easier on this scenario. The employee can upload the receipt and put an explanation of what it was for.
Inconvénients
It does take some time to get used to it. Some basic training to everybody in the company would be enough for you to get everyone started to using this software.

Tracking expenses and time
Avantages
It is a basic platform with unlimited receipt scanning, allowing you to track your travel time and expenses to get reimbursed for, all in all, it makes a simple admin expense approval-flow. The platform is pretty intuitive and user-friendly.
Inconvénients
Some banks accounts and credit cards are not well-integrated.
