Very easy to implement and support is readily available online. Integrat with Microsoft products and Windows.

Inconvénients

Linux machines can't be aduited with it and SAP is also not covered, only Microsoft softwares supoorted.

Avantages

The Netwrix auditor suite has many tools that come with the solution out of the box. This allows us to deploy auditing in our environment, as needed.

Inconvénients

There are a couple of the new auditing tools in Netwrix that require a separate license. These tools should be included in the solution.

Avantages

Nice logs of account expirations. Daily reporting of users was great. Password management portal was very helpful.

Inconvénients

Wasn't alway accurate for some of our external domains. Reported inactive accounts were actually still valid users.

Avantages

Visibility, notifications/alerts, reports and bringing all of the data down to earth in a nice format.

Inconvénients

If there is a problem, it sometimes can be difficult to solve. Redundant reports/categories are a bit confusing but not a deal breaker. Would be nice to know specifically what/where data a given report is pulling from to isolate what you may need.

Avantages

I like Data collection method about this software. Summary change audit reports are good which save time to generate report and check.

Inconvénients

Upgraded versions having complex reporting module which creates problem while generating any reports.

This software makes it possible to track file access and changes.

There isn't really anything I don;t like about this software.

The reporting that is provided both OOB and available for building are quite robust. The GUI is very easy to navigate and quite intuitive. The ability to grant access to other users for their own reporting is extremely helpful as well!

Inconvénients

The only con I have is that sometimes technical support can be a bit delayed in getting back to us for issues, but it is only slightly so not a huge con by any means.

Avantages

We use most of the functionality but it allows us to easily diagnose files that have "gone missing" due to user error.

Inconvénients

Sometimes it takes awhile to return a query. Other than that I have no complaints.

Avantages

An easy to understand, modern looking interface and sweet looking reports on a budget. Pretty easy to understand, and a lot of high level features. Great customer support and configuration assistance. Highly recommend the Jump Start package.

Inconvénients

Well, it doesn't have "In the file" levels of changes that other (much) more expensive programs have. It can be difficult to whittle down the "noise" in Active Directory and other false positives, though thats an issue with all logging. A few of the settings are using confusing terms, but once trained it is understandable.

The functionality of the software is impressive for tracking active directory changes and modifications.

Inconvénients

Some configuration challenges and support from an older version is lacking, but with reason as long as you keep the product updated, you shouldn't run into troubles. Just make sure to keep the product updated to keep along with all the products changes.

You can customize Netwrix to provide you with an abundance of reports that can be automatically generated and sent to you on a reoccurring schedule of your choosing. Having information readily available for all logins, file accesses, active directory alterations has proven to be beyond crucial, especially at times when investigations of personnel are occurring.

Inconvénients

Customer Support is great for the most part in answering questions, but they can take a lengthy amount of time in answering or resolving issues. Typically we contact our Representative with Netwrix to expedite issues as it seems to get the wanted results faster.

I wouldn't say we have any cons - might not be as full featured as some other tools, but its easy, quick and very inexpensive

I like the fact that the information is funnelled for you and placed in a easy to read reporting.

It was a little involved in setting up and didnt have as much guidance as I hoped, but once I reached out, it was set up quick.

Easy to use and setup, support is great and very responsive. Cost was a huge factor but I do not feel that we lost any capability by choosing Netwrix over other solutions. Having Netwrix reports and information has helped us greatly with client audits. Takes away some of the concern about activity in our systems as I'm alerted immediately or daily.

Inconvénients

Still learning some settings and trying to find the time to dedicate to learn all of the information that is available to me.

I love that I can get insight into AD, SQL, and VMware all on the same dashboard. This allows us to see what's going on both from an operational standpoint, but also from a security standpoint. It facilitates the need for both groups.

Inconvénients

The thing I most dislike about the tool is it's not very intuitive. The UI/UX of the product isn't the best, but it's workable once you get some experience with the product. I also wish it was installed without a web component that I need to worry about patching.

Netwrix Auditor gives me opportunity to sort lots of information that are received from various channels. It is a very software. it became for me an important part of my job.

Features is #1. Auditing should be flexible and usable. Reports are comprehensive and easy to use. RBAC plays a role with transparency.

Real time alerting is missing. Give people options to use agents. The upgrade made functional changes without being clear on the differences. All small things, but I'd ensure a change log exists and reviewable online. Maybe an RSS feed or blog?

Error messages are very vague. When running into problems with domain permissions, the error messages displayed did not really point anywhere but the installation PDF, which was of no help either relating to the problem. Would like to see an expanded knowledge base on the product.

When running large data sets, performance is very slow even on current hardware. Would like to see Netwrix offer other options to use different reporting engines.

Gathers logs from all your servers, your AD, etc. The global search is very useful, and you can filter the results quickly. Alerts and daily reports allow you to spot anomalies quickly. The included utility to identify inactive accounts can also disable them to reduce attack surface.

Inconvénients

Searching can be quite slow. Reports look good, but are many pages longer than necessary the way they're formatted.

I had a hard time handling citrix sessions events, this has been a frustrating endeavor as I expect the netwrix team to have the knowledge to provider assistance with extra useless log entries. Staff is ok, support could be better.

Could be better in auditing other objects, having the ability to diagnose intrusion detections within AD.

I found The software to be very informative. the number of applets available is a bonus. I like the granularity of the software and the reporting is exemplary.

It takes a while to learn the ins and outs of customizing reports. Also, It would be nice to be able to manage the software from a web interface not just from the local server desktop.
