The password expiry notice and the password lockout functions. Also reasonably priced for functionality.

Inconvénients

How much of a hit it can put in the performance. Complicated to setup and tweak. Alerts can get overwhelming.

Instant Alerts. This feature is pretty spot on but could be made better with some additional guides to create custom rulesets.

Inconvénients

Lack of documentation around custom reporting/alerting. Also, we occasionally run into faults where the DB runs out of space, but relieves itself after a few days. During this time jobs get queued up and support has not been able to identify the issue directly.

We can customize the email message end users receive, to specify exactly what steps they need to take to change their password so they don't have to call us each time. And we can customize when to email them.

The ability to track high valued user activity and to have the ability to review any changes made in Active Directory, Group Policy and File Shares

Inconvénients

Netwrix monitors a great number of items throughout your environment, but I really wish it would also monitor server HDD space and send notifications regarding its capacities.

I like the visibility I didn't have before. I was able to use it to clean up vulnerabilities we had.

Reports don't always work. Search feature is hit or miss.

Since we are in the heavily regulated Financial Services industry, we needed an Event Auditing solution that met the FFIEC regulatory guidelines. Netwrix Auditor and the related products work well.

Inconvénients

There is so much information to sift through, but that is very typical of these type of products. If you invest enough time tweaking it ends working for you.

Ease of use, Ease of Implementation. This software was so easy to deploy we were solving our first problems within 25 minutes of purchasing.

It gives us the opportunity to track down all the edits in AD, it shows which computers get updated, and let's us know who edits what in AD.

It gives us errors but doesn't explain exactly what the error is so we can fix it, it tracks windows 10 but has trouble tracking Windows 7 updates.

The product is easy to use and always runs well. Interface is intuitive. We have only had one issue that was resolved quickly via hepde desk call.

The licensing model needs to come in blocks of 50 or 100 instead constantly having to "true-up" one at a time.

The agents collect a vast amount of information. This allows any investigations to get to root of issues well after the fact.

Difficult to create ad-hoc reports. Not very intuitive, because data 'names' aren't described well when trying to filter data

I like the things you can do with this product but just felt like we had other software in place that could gather this stuff for us so we didn't need to spend the money right now.

I did not have any con really. I liked the product, just felt we didn't need to pay for it at this time since we can pull most of the information from other sources we currently have.

This software has everything he needs to make my job easier. Easy Active directory integration, keeps track of all file changes, keeps track of all user activities. The daily Reports are fast to display. I like the option of exporting and saving the files in PDF format.

Inconvénients

Configuring the reports do not work all the time. It takes multiple times to do the configuration for the report to work.

I love the ability to create almost ANY report you can dream up. I am a newbie, I cannot wait to see what all this application is capable of. I want to get wait deep in this and learn, learn, learn.

I thought it was very easy to set this up out of the box. We are getting reports within the first 24 hours of install.

Fast reliable and diverse. Moreover the system is extremely simple to use and sox complainace . Plus system is easy to use when reporting and other platforms

Cost is little on high side and customer service can be a tricky at best . I think that customer service can be more robust and provide in depth knowledge of the system

Netwrix is very easy to use and install. It provides a great deal of reporting and notifications to keep you informed of the changes in your environment, which is a must when operating an environment with a small team.

correcting issues with our application is difficult sometimes. I put in a ticket and it will take several days sometime for them to get back to me. I wish the reports were more like the emails. easy to build.

it gives you the complete visibility to the systems you are responsible for , even those which aren't auditable.

If the roles are not properly set I mean policy wise not technically related to netwrix you can see the things you are not supposed to.

Very flexible and can audit about any event possible on the network. We mostly use it for a Windows environment.

Cumbersome initial configuration...very expensive. Licensing is per AD-user so you will need to keep your directory cleaned up.

Fairly easy to use and setup. Netrix lets us know each year that the renewal is coming and works with us to get the renewal done.

Don't like that the Password Management component is going away. This is a convenient way for users to have a self-service password change solution for remote users.

changes from 8.5 to 9 were pretty drastic with no reason, emails, or help to the changes. Support is ok, but slow and no followup
