Avantages

Clubhouse is quite simple to get up and running, as well as customized. It's powerful, with a lot of features. With it's Github intergration, Clubhouse is quite possibly the most used product on our team. With the new sprint feature, it's been phenomenal.

Inconvénients

The app on Android is a bit buggy. It's sometimes hit or miss with the git integration, some stories don't get linked even when following the docs, though I could be doing something wrong.

Avantages

Rather than being a tool that is over engineered for Product Managers, Developers, or any other subset of a team - Clubhouse is truly designed to be easy to use across functions in a team, and that is critical for a project management tool like this.

Inconvénients

Needs support for sprints/iterations! Tracking them requires "hacking" the feature set.

Avantages

There are plenty of options for how to organize/track a piece of work. There are epics, stories, projects, milestones, etc. which combined provide a robust system for categorizing and containing units of work.

Inconvénients

Due to the wealth of features, navigating the UI can be difficult. Querying epics/stories by owner, then switching between different slices of epics/stories doesn't feel smooth. There are too many clicks (and no keyboard shortcuts that I know of) to get from epics/stories that I own to someone else's.

Also, no Gantt charting available.

Avantages

Clubhouse is so easy to use and customize. I am the Project Manger for 3 teams and each uses the tool differently but all are much more efficient than using our previous tool.

Inconvénients

Honestly there is nothing I've found that I don't like!

Reconciling stories with projects is counter-intuitive at first.
I wish you could add timing / due dates to sub tasks within a story

I love how you can create your own space within your company's workflow. This allows users to see (easily) what they need to keep track of. And the use of template creations has been super helpful.

Inconvénients

Because there are so many customizable views, I feel like things can get lost if your team is not always looking at the same flow.

It is so easy to collaborate with colleagues - tagging, attachments, everything works as needed

Inconvénients

Sometimes i miss notifications, it is hard to see them when you are receiving so many in the notification center.

Avantages

Hits a great balance between features and simplicity of use. Doesn't have all of the bells and whistles of a Jira, but is a free, feature-packed, and well suited for smaller engineering teams.

Inconvénients

Would like to have ability to assign Epics to specific iterations. Some technical bugs that come about (and no way to avoid upgrading versions) because it's a web app. Mobile app could also use some work.

Avantages

I love how intuitive and easy to use the software is. The pricing is great if you're a team of less than 10.

Inconvénients

What I don't like is that it gets very expensive once you are a team of 11 or more. For startups, this is just not a feasible price. However, if you're a team of 10 or less, it's very reasonable and feasible.

The cost of the software was so low in relation to the others in the market and you get so much out of the application it’s unbelievable.

Inconvénients

There is no invoicing or tracking time so this was a bit of a turn off for me if this feature is upgraded the overall experience would be top notch

Great to navigate between projects, accepts multiple filters and it has a great design. I'm new using Clubhouse but it certainly feels promising as an agile project management software.

Inconvénients

I believe it's missing a few features that you should expect from a project management software. Mostly dates feels confusing, and currently it only changes the interface from a card when the task is due.

The Client Success team is amazing, especially rep. I have just begun integrating my team into using Clubhouse as our main PM tool and she is a HUGE factor in the seamless transition my team has experienced. Also, the UI is very intuitive. The help center is filled with amazing resources that will help the new and experienced users.

Inconvénients

There are a few features that would make the software perfect for my team.
1. The ability to make templates outside of just stories, especially projects.
2. The ability to track time in increments rather than starting and stopping a timer.
3. Custom fields within projects to be able to create triggers from SF to CH.

Avantages

Very easy to use and move through tasks quickly - offers a lot of efficiency when managing tasks. Customizable dashboard which makes is easier to optimize one's workflow.

Inconvénients

It would be helpful to have a time or progress tracking feature, as other similar software has.

Getting right filters set can be pretty finicky sometimes. Also sharing views could be more intuitive

It is simple to use and I haven't have any issues with performance. It runs well.

Inconvénients

There are a few features that I consider to be missing and it is very basic. If you don't need a heavy tool this is a great option.

The webhooks for external tool integrations is nice (i.e. Github) and it clearly lays out ticket history, commit/PR tracking, and ticket comments.

It would be nice to be able to customize story types and offer more than just Bug, Feature, or Chore.

Avantages

Shortcut provides a clear and useful overview of the tasks in the project. It is easy to create and organise tasks, and tasks can be assigned labels/epics/projects/iterations to help keep everything organised. Being able to filter the tasks shown on the board is very useful for large projects.

Inconvénients

I think Shortcut includes all the essential features of a project management tools plus lots of useful extras: there is nothing I feel is missing.

Analytics are not easy to use, we should have more pop ups to explain what to dio with them

Shortcut has the most used features and functions that we need, yet it's not a nightmare to configure and manage.

I absolutely love Clubhouse. It's genius. I get on this daily and have been so grateful for the networking ability this platform has created.

Avantages

Simplicity and speed - it's lightning quick and the design steers away from the overly detailed stuff that Jira encourages. Also, it's super clear how the work is sliced up. You can choose what each level means to you (e.g. epic = ...), but they all clearly fit together, meaning progress (or lack thereof) is obvious and clear

Inconvénients

The mobile experience isn't great. The upcoming Android app should fix most of that, but certain elements of the mobweb ui should be looked at from a hygiene pov. I can't adjust the order / column of stories on my phone at the moment.

- I want label filters to support AND and OR and NOT. like I want to be able to see all things with BOTH of 2 labels and NOT another label. right now it just uses OR for all the labels I select
- I want a better landing page that shows me what I have to do. right now, I never use the "stories" page because I have literally hundreds of stories, so manually drag/drop prioritizing them won't work... and the label filters aren't powerful enough for me to sort well either.
- I often leave code in my comments and descriptions and all the tabs are removed when I press save. This makes it very hard to read.

I do like the many ways you can label and prioritize projects, how easy it is to assign and unassign tasks, etc. It is definitely a great platform

Getting used to what the various names of project groupings and titles, what they mean, and how they fit together took more time than I would've liked and weren't super intuitive

I've used similar type of software like Jira and I find it comparable in terms of features and ease of use. The interface seems to be more up to date and clearer.

As a user, I haven't found anything I dislike

Lightweight - Does what you want, doesn’t clutter with bloated features
Integrations - solid integrations with relevant software (github, slack, ...)

Because it’s lightweight, there are some workarounds you need to use for specific needs

Clubhouse is fast and reasonably easy to use. Just the responsiveness and the intuitive UI alone made it worth it. Very easy to customize, and I don't find myself spending a lot of time on putting together custom velocity metrics or over-wrought task flows.

Inconvénients

UI is still a little busier than I'd like. Would like it to have a "simple UI" mode where it's kanban or even just Asana task-list style.

The product feels a lot more intuitive than Jira, which I've used extensively in the past. The UI is simpler, but it's still very powerful.

Inconvénients

Sometimes it's hard to tell which filters you have applied, and therefore why a certain ticket is/isn't showing up.

Very different from all task management softwares I have used. I am still trying to figure out everything.

For me, tt's a little complex to understand how it works. I have spent more time trying to move things around than doing my tasks.

The fact of keeping track of other's teams in the company work. With the previous task management tools we weren't able to do it.

I remember the first day my boss proposed to start using Clubhouse I was opposed since it looked really complex at the first sight. After using it for a month, I switched my mind since the learning curve takes time but the user can get really familiar with it.

Avantages

We can have multiple projects in one screen, tag tasks in different projects. Keeping track of one feature which require changes in different projects is so simple. I love the feature which allows us to save the search filters. Its faster than any issue tracing product that I have used.

Inconvénients

I have no problems with club house till date.

Shortcut is easy to use, easy to organize, and low effort for my dev team. I like that it also syncs with Git, though, I've not implemented that feature yet.

Sometimes it's hard to remember where less often used features are.

I feel the UI could be improved - feels a little outdated, and the purple is a bit much. Just doesn't feel super enjoyable as a space to spend lots of time, particularly given that it's a screen that I'm always opening.

Much lighter weight compared to Asana and a bit less complicated. Still complex (like any project management software) but at least it's easier to use and figure stuff out than Asana.

Inconvénients

Still relatively complex. Why can't project management software be simple? So many views and so many features.

Avantages

The "feel" of the software. It is intuitive, it is fast, I love it's markdown-based editing, and I have yet to feel like "Damn, it needs feature 'X'" or "Damn this feature is a PITA to use."

And I love that is saves my work no matter what hiccup the browser has.

And I cannot say that about *any* other PM solutions out there, except maybe Notion which is not exactly a PM solution.

Inconvénients

When you add tickets they sometimes "disappear" because you did not classify them correctly, e.g. wrong team, wrong workflow, wrong state or wrong project. If I add a ticket it should always be easy to find. It is not always.

It was very popular for some time and you could gather many people interested in a particular topis and eager to exchange opinions.

It was popular just for some time. Sometimes, where there were many events it was hard to decide which one to attend.

It helps us organize our workflow so that tasks don't get lost or forgotten. There is a lot of functionality for tagging and sorting items so that we can keep things organized the way that we need to.

Inconvénients

The UI can be a little overwhelming at times. Sometime the system is slow and has had glitches updating cards.

Easy to use. Offers lots of customizability. Allows for specific tasks being assigned to different users in the same ticket.

Inconvénients

Would like to see some additional customizability for displaying tickets, like displaying the complete list of tasks for a ticket in the overview.

Seems fairly easy to use and generally pretty good UI.

Sometimes it not as intuitive for me on who to assign tasks to. Wish I could more easily send to a person direct based on my workflow vs a pod which may end up in a cue and not receive the prioritization I'm seeking.

I liked how easy it is keep my co-workers informed of changes and progress on projects and tasks.

Could not find Outlook integration, and would like the ability to generate Calendar reminders.

I am grateful for the ability to communicate with our product/engineering team regarding issue that need to be worked on especially with the ability to review the timeline and corresponding dialog for the progress of the issue.

sometimes it is a little messy and confusing trying to review the timeline of a ticket off first glance
