Great software for our small refrigeration company

Avantages

The company is incredibly responsive to questions or requested changes. The software is simple and intuitive for users.

Inconvénients

I would like even greater customization of each users access to the different functions. It would be great if changes were saved without having to click on the green check mark.

The best tool to manage your business

Easy to use and very organized

Avantages

Ability to track past jobs through database. Also it's nice to add expenses and check lists for equipment and jobs.

Inconvénients

I can put time in for other people on my job but once it's on there time sheet they can change it. It would be nice if the person the job is assigned to is the only one who can change the time. Besides the administrator.

It is great to use with the HVAC & Plumbing Business

Avantages

I love how easy the program is to use, you can jump right into it without any training! Also I like how it is very customizable to the company so any company can make it their own.

Inconvénients

The scheduler glitches sometimes, when changing the date or time (just moving things around) sometimes it will glitch and move to a different date or time, which can be very frustrating on those long days.

New to the System

Takes abit to get the hang finding the customers names, ie sometimes its the first name and sometimes its the last, and if you do not have the correct spelling - your lost

Avantages

Like the set up of the scheduler calendar. And has email contact to my boss.

Inconvénients

Should be able to find customers other than their last name- by contact of phone numbers.

Great program easy to go paperless with it.

Avantages

I like that we are able to access work orders at anytime and there is no human error of loosing papers anymore. I also like how we are able to input our own checklists.

Inconvénients

There are a few bugs in the program. Such as when I have a workorder open and I go out of the app it automatically closes the workorder and I have to re open it.

Clunky

It's a great idea, but it is a lot of work to use.
There are places to put all the info I can think of, but it's not organized in a way that makes it easy to get to the information
Let me put it this way: using the app is like visiting a website created in 2002...

Avantages

I like that there are many ways to organize aspects of the job.
I like that the contact info of each customer can be inserted into the app

Inconvénients

It's clunky.
Small buttons make each page seem confusing
I have to click through several buttons and screens to get to places I want to go in the app
When I want to go back a page, it takes a while to load and sometimes it won't go back.

It is nice to be able to have everything in one place where everyone can access and share data.

Avantages

There is a lot of information that can be shared and tracked easily by multiple people. You are also able to upload and download data in pdf form.

Inconvénients

We are not able to link our QuickBooks account in order to generate quotes and invoices. That would be great!

Best product so far

We have used many scheduling and dispatching softwares. This fits our business platform the best. It has a lot of functionality and the development team is always quick to help integration of a new feature or idea we have.

Great Support

The people I have taled to have been great. They always seem happy to help me with any stupid questions I have.

Avantages

The software does everything I need it to . It seems like a product that will scale with me as I grow.

Inconvénients

Like anything computer the learning curve is hard for me but the support I received from the guys on the phone was exceptional.

Overall good experiance.

Avantages

Can look at past work notes- Can attach pictures to jobsitea for reviewing later-keeps everything organized.

Inconvénients

Requires cell data so in areas of low or no cell service you cant use it- sometimes takes longer than pen and paper to record data.

Some bugs and occasional crashing but good

Avantages

Easy to navigate with simplified tabs and I like that i can see what jobs have not been started or people cant get to.

Inconvénients

No offline support for areas with no cellular signal. App is leggy and some data gets lost id ctashed

Recently started using

I have enjoyed the app. It is an all encompassing program, with a great range of options. Much more user friendly then other apps of the same design

Avantages

I like that the jobs are easily navigated and that all information is conviently stored all under one job. Can upload all the information when I'm finished building a project, and all future maintenance is able to see all the stuff inputted by the last users.

Inconvénients

We have difficulty seeing where the other workers are. They are listed as a location and as a colour. As a user we can not see who the colours are. So when we need to quickly find who is near us to help we can't access the names.

Easy to use. Works great. A little slow to respond at times but not unusable.

At times the program runs fairly slow. It has seemed to improve as of the past month. Not much to complain about other than that.

Use it every day and works fine

Avantages

Use it to do time sheets and work orders so on knit does the job and that's all I need it for and to submit

Inconvénients

There is nothing off the top of my head that I can think of to complain about right know other then sometimes the app is slow but could be the wifi

As I see it

I use this application every day for work and find that it works quite well for me. I am looking forward to some further training to see what I may be missing if anything.

This is My Review

I have had a very positive experience with Service Box to date. I find it very user friendly and easy to navigate. The only thing that I might want a little quicker is the support replies, sometimes it takes quite a while to hear back and there has been occasion where I have not received a reply at all. Other than that it has been wonderful thus far.

Avantages

Ease of use and navigation. Very user friendly in my experience.

Inconvénients

Sometimes there is long lag times, not sure if it is the actual software or the internet provider.

Decent application

Avantages

the way we can schedule the job and the notification goes to the specific user and it is time friendly because all data can be find in one place

Inconvénients

1) there is not much option of customization like we can not customize the layout of invoices or workorder
2)It does not display time in hours and minute format

Make this a phone app

Service box is one of the better products I've used for work and hours, but it's easier to pick out things I don't like over anything else. I don't have time to update my hours over a computer so it's all on the iPhone. Would be a lot nicer in an app. It's hard to fix mistakes, and navigate the website on the phone. My biggest thing would be to have an app or a phone version of the website. Buttons are all really small and it's not obvious if you are checked in. Would like something to pop up bold or have a colored button to indicate that you are signed in.

Servicebox software

I have been using servicebox for almost a year now and it is a great tool to have for creating work orders. I have had customers tell me how professional the work orders look and how easy it is to quickly review the work we performed.

The online app allows me to dispatch our Service Techs and invoice our customers from anywhere.

Nothing at this time. Having gone from a desktop application, this software offers me all that I need at this time.

Great software

Avantages

It has basically everything we need to make our business flow perfectly.
The mobile app is great for on the road.

Inconvénients

Nothing so far.
Could use an email/text alert to customers regarding their upcoming appointments (a week and day before in advance) but I believe Service Box will be adding this feature in the future.

Great Product

Overall,I enjoy this product. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a tool to manage bookings for various applicablions as well as invoicing etc.

Avantages

Easy to keep track of all bookings and attach files for each booking

Inconvénients

Maneuvering around through schedules, etc.

ServiceBox

Avantages

Ease of use, job tracking and overall increase in efficiency

This software did not tick all of the boxes, so we had to change the way that we did some things.

The service box is great and great

My overall experience has been great, it's a great program with a great team behind it, and I tell all my colleagues about it all the time.

Avantages

I needed a very simplified and intense work order management system to fully automate everything from quotations, with repeatability of work orders to maintenance, service box allows everything to be in one place versus access to many different areas for information, I like to customize categories and cases and also timetables.

Inconvénients

The search feature is unreliable because of how the keywords are sorted.

Plumbing/ gasfitting company.

I like the product and with further development it will only get better.

Avantages

I like the scheduler, how it keeps me on track. It works well for tracking projects in progress. What’s been invoiced, and what hasn’t. Let’s me easily convert estimates to work order and further to invoices.

Inconvénients

Lack of templates to customize the layout for invoices. They way that things look are important when Communicating with a customer. It could use customizable page breaks, and other basic layout features for templates and invoices.

Handy but glitchy

It's a good tool to have, but encounters errors fairly frequently. They are usually resolved within a day, but they do hinder current operations. Also when looking ahead in the schedule it will always return to the current day after backing out of a different days appointment details which gets more inconvenient the further ahead you go as you then need to click thru the days till you get back to the day you were looking at. Overall decent though.

user freindly

Avantages

being able to keep sage 50 and the eas of doing invoices.
Being able to have great note re each job.

Inconvénients

some times you can not down load your pictures, and at time there servier is slow.
Sometimes having to wait for wifi to work with the service.

Great concept

The idea and the material are there just need more refinement for smaller service companies. And a better price point for the smaller companies.

Avantages

Can use anywhere you have access to a computer. No scanning work orders. Multiperson use.

Inconvénients

Price and can't adjust time cards. Without notifying an admin.

Service Box User Review

I like it! Wish we had gotten it sooner!

Avantages

What I really like about this service is the connectivity - all our service techs and office personel are connected and can schedual work and see what needs to be done. Also it cuts down on paper work as we can invoice directly from the field.

Inconvénients

It is really larger and more complicated than we need! We are only using a small portion of it's capability.

We have had a good experience so far. The program seems to be a good fit for our plumbing...

Efficiency's gained by stream lining our quoting, assigning, invoicing and closing off jobs in the accounting program.

Avantages

The efficiencies that would will gain by using the system. Integrating the quoting, assigning, invoicing of each job vs manual paper process.

Inconvénients

I would like to contact technical support directly. I called a couple of times and could not get through to any physical person.

Service box

Service box works well for tracking time and workorders. It's very easy to get use to the app because it makes sense. It's nice that you can go back and edit your time sheet for the week and add notes any time before you submit it. It's missing the ability to move back and forth between tabs without saving because it's web based they can never change that allegedly.

Service Box Review

ServiceBox is used for tracking jobs and projects. Generally quite favourable.

Avantages

I like the ease of editing and the spaces for placing notes and description.

Inconvénients

Initially it seemed to take a bit to find my way around. Not sure that I have any suggestions in streamlining. If a person wants all the features, it won't be as simple.

Easy to Use

This is a very easy to use program. If you can't find something you can easily look and find it! For the few months we have been on this it has been great!

Sometimes slow being on the browser. Can't use when you have no service.

Needs an app

Great service but trying to do every thing off a phone or tablet browser, the navigation is difficult and takes a few seconds for ever button tapped to register. A play store or app store app specifically design for these devices would be recommended and appreciated.

I didnt know that I wasnt suppose to update SAGE without notifying Service box. I have been unable to do up invoices to clients for a week.

Service Box Platform is Excellent

The Service Box platform has been excellent in stream lining our companies performance. It has given us the ability to be far more flexible and efficient in our approach to service work providing both our customers and us substantial time savings. There has been enormous benefits in all aspects of how we manage our company and its work flow, the primary one being able to access any company information at any point in time from anywhere. The system it self is easy to train staff with and is not bulky and overwhelming like others on the market. I feel this product would be an asset to any service orientated company.

Service box review

Service box is a good program I have recommended it to other organizations
I like how it is constantly being upgraded and it fits very well with the industry that I'm in
I wish that the emails had worked out a little bit better for us but ultimately we did come up with a solution

Great Functionality

I have very much appreciated the benefits of having one piece of software that provides a comprehensive experience for all employees from the top down.

Avantages

This software has amazing functionality and allows me to run our company from one central program. It also allows our service workers to access the information they need while out in the field.

Inconvénients

Doesn't prompt to save and that could be a very useful feature for those who use it who aren't exactly accustomed to using this type of software.

Solar Company

The software works very well to fit our needs. The most important feature the software is lacking, in my opinion, is mobile notification. We have noticed that our colleagues sometimes miss To Do's and Work Order's do to the lack of this feature.

Paperless

At first the learning curve was long, but like anything else the more I used it the better, still getting used to some of the feature. I would to find work order by date as well, so if a work order job number is not known, but the date is, it would be easier to find. I wish I had know about this when I had my business.

Tradesperson

I am somewhat limited with the use of the program, but overall it does what I need. There are some technical issues with lag when typing, but that may be a compatibility issue with our hardware. The program works well on my phone.
