Great customer service
We've been using Fishbowl for years and while there have been some limitations, we have found a way to work around those issues.
Avantages
Great customer service. Fast response time is appreciated. Nice being able to email sales orders and transfer orders.
Inconvénients
Managing inventory in our sales channel has been a challenge due to the way Shopify reconciles returns/exchanges.

Support Assistance
5/5 star. I like they way when they know exactly what is the problem I am encountering.
Avantages
the support system is very good and I only sent the screenshot for my fishbowl problem and the agent knows what is the cause of the problem
Inconvénients
time difference, when I want to schedule a meeting or support assistant, I need to wait the time where the agent will be available to support me.

Do not use this software.
Awful company with awful business practices. Do not use.
Avantages
It only crashes every few days, which is an improvement over its previous versions.
Inconvénients
They spontaneously change the terms of your contract mid term. Truly unbelievably awful business practices.

Technical Support has hit rock Bottom
I have been using and loving Fishbowl for the past 5 years. In the past 12 -18 months the technical support has plummeted. I believe the took on new ownership and since then they have made phone support useless. As I write this I have been on hold for over 45 minutes. They give you the option to leave your number but I have yet to receive a call back from them. Really sad to see what has happened to what was a great organization

Software does the basics for small retail and manufacturing operations

Report generation is rigid and difficult. We ended up extracting all the data we needed to an external tool

Inconvénients
En ocasiones muy lento. Cuando varios usuarios se loguean en la aplicación se torna muy lento o imposible de entrar

Customer Service
Avantages
I like that we can track all orders placed and fulffilled and how items received and what we have in stock.
Inconvénients
Don't like that old orders that were place the previous year but received in the new year and when QuickBooks is locked for the previous year Fishbowl will have an error and it will stop everything else from pushing through because of that one error which is a huge flaw in my opinion. IT stops everything.

Stated simply, Fishbowl is the best in it's class, period! Easy to use, incredibly effective and affordable Inventory and Order Management Software.
Avantages
Fishbowl offers and unparalleled ease of use. Our whole team was trained and up and running in hours. You simply won't find another software package with the range of features and reliability at this price range. It easily bests other software packages costing 3 times what Fishbowl costs!
Inconvénients
Their call back support could be a little faster, but it's still likely better than most software companies.

Avantages
Super practical, everything is where I think it should and named what you'd think it should be name. I hate when a program tries to create their own unique way to do things, just because they came up with some stupid acronym they think that improves their program. It doesn't it just makes it harder to learn, fishbowl has accurate names that make super easy to pick up and use.
Inconvénients
The history "tabs" close to the top don't look like tabs, someone could easily over look them.

Great Inventory Software for blending eCommerce and wholesale orders
We have used Fishbowl in our corporate warehouse for over 5 years. Fishbowl makes processing both eCommerce and wholesale orders easy and organized. It also makes purchasing inventory a breeze with in depth historical reporting and sales forecasting. I would also highly recommend investing in the Janam handheld scanner running Fishbowl mobile software; makes cycle counts hassle-free. There is a slight learning curve, but is still much easier than other inventory systems we've used in the past.
Avantages
Best part of Fishbowl is their reporting. Being able to analyze past purchasing and sales reports to better forecast inventory movement is crucial and Fishbowl nails it. I also like that they have a direct import and export function to link with our eCommerce site.
Inconvénients
The menu and navigation can seem a bit convoluted, but I'm convinced this is the case with any software boasting so much functionality.

hard to fix problems without having to talk to fishbowl. but they are usually very responsive when i have a problem

Great Customer Service, But Iffy For Stores with Many Parts and Sub-Parts
Avantages
Great Customer Service (via help line), Easy User Interface, Generous Basic Reports, Gets the Basics of Inventory Management Done
Inconvénients
Difficult when the store has thousands of SKUs to manage, some reports aren't as intuitive as they could/should be or able to be adjusted/customized, formatting of exported reports for some do not make sense for Excel use, Integrations are often very "bumpy"

The support staff was very helpful and got my problem solved quickly.
Avantages
Great inventory tracking and keeping orders straight. Your customer service crew is very friendly and explain things in words and actions.
Inconvénients
Not very user friendly. Not easy to find answers to things that I don't understand. Not easy to fix a problem without the help of customer service.
