iContact: Email Marketing GURU
Avantages
It is way too easy to create and customize marketing emails with iContact.
Inconvénients
I have used iContact for an extended duration now and it barely fail to accomplish my needs.

Helps to Simplify Email Marketing
My overall experience with this product has been positive. The customer support is good, and the product is fairly easy to use. While it lacks some of the features of Pardot, it adequately meets our needs as a mid-size company.
Avantages
IContact is a program that I use to create email templates. It is easy to create and modify templates using this program. It also integrates relatively well with Salesforce and is a much less expensive option than Pardot. The platform is easy to use and metrics are clearly displayed. The ease of use (meaning creating templates is much faster and more streamlined) is what I like most.
Inconvénients
Templates are created with lots of extra lines and blank spaces, meaning I often have to remove those before I'm able to use iContact with Salesforce to send to effectively send an email to a list.

We love iContact!
Avantages
Functionality is straightforward but very adaptive, meaning that you can get a whole world of things done.
Inconvénients
I find the system can be a little clunky and sometimes slow when loading large lists or hefty workflows.

I have been a faithful IContact customer since 2008 because it's easy to use and affordable.
Avantages
We send attractive/good looking emails without being marketing experts! There are options for using templates or creating your own look. It's a great value, with great customer support.
Inconvénients
There are limits to the number of images that can be held in the software. We like to re-use old images and bring in new ones, too.

Much improved since previous version.
Great tool in general to reach large current population and provide timely welcome to those who have recently joined our organization.
Avantages
delivery speed- Mass emails are sent and received very quickly and I appreciate the ability to schedule them based upon our audiences preferences.
Inconvénients
Still glitchy- formatting does not respond to edits consistently and in some cases, will not take at all.

Getting messages out to your audience in a timely manner can be key to a successful marketing campaign. We also appreciate your feedback regarding formatting in the editor. This is can be caused by copying and pasting content from a source outside of iContact. Not only is the text itself copied over, but also HTML on the backend, which results in formatting inconsistencies. Old Format is Great
Overall, iContact has really helped me to expand my practice by being able to send regular monthly newsletters to my clients. Customer service is generally excellent, although I have gotten a few people from time to time that have been less helpful. If you get the right person, they will go above and beyond to not only resolve the issue, but to educate you on related technical matters that "teach me to fish."
Avantages
The old format (which you can still access) is very user friendly, with ability to cut and paste and upload photos. Anyone with basic word skills would be able to utilize this program. The newer format I'm not much of a fan of, however. Luckily I can still copy and modify the older templates, and the customer service is quite helpful.
Inconvénients
The newer format seems super confusing to me. I've tried a few times, but it's too big a jump in my skill set for me to make much use of.

Easy and fast to use
ease in contacting people
Avantages
ease in reaching large numbers of people, being able to track who is opening my messages and clicking on links.
Inconvénients
i often type the same unusual words and repeated email addresses and there is no feature to allow icontact to 'learn' and remember them.

There are still many things I am not familiar with which seem a bit confusing.
