I explored various options prior to reaching this decision. What I appreciate about Userway is the simplicity of their process. Their AI, particularly in image naming, exceeded my expectations, even identifying a look-alike for one of our team members!

What stood out for me was the transparency and the ability to delve into the details. Unlike other software, Userway provides an immediate and comprehensive list of the fixes made, and it allows you to manually adjust anything and everything. In the inevitable event of the AI making a mistake, Userway empowers you to easily correct and customize as needed.

Initially dreading a time-consuming task, I was pleasantly surprised that Userway efficiently handled the majority of the work for our website. Only a few hours of remediation and validation were required, marking a significant success.

I needed assistance with the initial setup, and the support team went above and beyond. They were not only quick and helpful but consistently knowledgeable and resourceful!

Inconvénients

Can't change the iframe description with Userway, so I couldn't make them accessible with the tool.

The UserWay Accessibility Widget goes beyond traditional accessibility concerns. Our userbase is primarily students and this widget gets barriers out of their way so that learning can happen. Our users really like the ability to switch the ability to modify the site to make it easier for them to use. To our surprise the most used feature ended up being the live translation.

Inconvénients

With the live translation being the most used feature the difference in the pricing model of the Widget and the Translation made predicting usage and getting into the right tier difficult.

Avantages

The variety of features on the widget, especially that the translation option. Our community has people from many countries so it is great the website can be translated into many languages.
When needing help the 24/7 customer service is excellent both in availability and in expertise.

Inconvénients

Not knowing exactly what UserWay is doing to my website to make it accessible - however this might be because I haven't really looked at the reports available.
Not being able to indicate (via the widget) that translation is possible. People needing a different language don't think they need accessibility options so they don't think to click on the icon for accessibility.

I love that you do not need to be an expert to integrate it and done. It really gives you peace of mind knowing it is handling this delicate necessity so well.

Userway is an easy to use plugin for our website that allows for more fulsome accessibility features. While it does not replace building a fully accessible website, it is a great addition to have to maximize usability.
