Avantages

You are able to setup Quicken to sync transactions with your various bank and financial institutions. If you have the skills and proper data entered, you are able to run reports with valuable information.

Inconvénients

Quicken isn't always user friendly. I'm an accountant who has worked with many financial software, so I can work my way through it, but it isn't always user friendly. I also do not love how Quicken treats transfers between accounts as income and expense.

Avantages

Easy to use. Very simple to learn. User friendly. A lot of options.

Inconvénients

There’s really no down side to it. I have used Quicken for 15 years.

I've been using Quicken for years. I like having all my financial info in one place, I also like the online downloading of transactions.

Bugs. There are a bunch and it takes forever for them to be fixed.

Reports are problematic and Quicken is not quick to fix their bugs.

It has customizable reports. Most important to me currently is Investment tracking, so i can monitor stocks and retirement accounts with real time updates.

The interface is not beginner friendly. It was a bit overwhelming with alot of features, and setting up accounts and learning how to generate reports took a bit of time.

It really does keep track of ALL my accounts, and looks forward at bills and income coming due.

Updating the software and/or restoring a backup can be sketchy at times.

Fairly easy to learn and use as a productive tool.

Minor difficulties getting used to loans and payments.

Being able to keep an eye on financials and create plans to reduce debt.

Quicken has everything needs for a small business. You won't get confused with unnecessary tabs and areas and you will find evet daily that is needed to track your business finances from cost to profit

If you are a mid or larger size business, quicken is not for you.

Avantages

Quicken as reasonably priced and linked fairly easily to my bank account and credit card account.

Inconvénients

I did not like how the naming of charges in my bank account and cards did not line up very cleanly with the Quicken import data. It seemed like I was always scrubbing the data.

The software is efficient, easy, and works very well.

I am overall very satisfied. There is nothing I can think of that needs improvement.

Quicken is great at helping businesses and families keep track of finances and help them budget their money better. It's very easy to use and customer service has been amazing. We were given help setting up a budget that worked for us and helped us start saving for retirement. Even though that's a long way away.

I wouldn't call this a con but I thought Quicken was only used for business finances and not for personal finances.

I use Quicken for bookkeeping. One of the biggest advantages is how easy it is to copy and paste previous entries—it saves a lot of time on entering similar repetitive expenses. I also appreciate the ability to set up recurring monthly payments, bills, and expenses, which simplifies my workflow significantly. There’s also a good amount of customization options.

the software does feel a bit dated. The version we’re using looks and operates like something from the early 2000s, which can make it feel clunky compared to newer software. Despite this, I like QuickBooks overall—it’s nothing fancy, but it gets the job done in a straightforward way.

Takes a little bit to get your views the way you want them and the process of labeling charges into correct categories is a bit manual.

In theory the ability to manage and track all expenses within one product. Unfortunately, due to constant connectivity issues this is not how the software functions.

Quicken is easy to use and updating from a previous version went well.

It drives me crazy that you can't sync information between computers. I'm no expert, but I can't see why you can't have information from the Quicken cloud update information on the computer.I use Quicken at work and at home. If I could just sync information that I added at home to my work computer and vice versa, it would be perfect.I don't know why this feature can't be added.

I’m not very “techy” but Quicken was easy to install. I had to watch a. Few tutorials before I understood how to use it.

I like the updated tax tables and current regulatory database for up-to-date tax prep tax schedules and deductions. It is easy to input transactions, categorize them, and get a running balance with ease.

Inconvénients

My least favorite thing about this software is that it now requires a subscription instead of buying the program for a set price.
