Avantages
Very powerful, fast results for the many plant studies that need to be performed. ETAP is one of the best power systems analysis tools for engineers.
Inconvénients
The software requires many hours of use to learn all the capabilites and is very complex.

-I could have boughten more modules, but still disappointed because the base package is pretty bare-bones

ETAP useability
Overall it has been good to use, looking forward to using some of the automated modules more.
Avantages
ETAP seems to be the most used software in our region, so it made sense to work with it given the ability to work with existing models.
Inconvénients
There are many features which can be slightly overloading at times.

Problems with the installation, the change from test version to full version creates a lot of problems

Good Library and easy to use. Also, the software was very friendly to use.

We understand that ETAP can be a little overwhelming when you first get started. we are constantly improving our UI and try to provide more automated and interactive functionality such as the Auto-evaluation for protective devices and coordination. Also, check out our hands-in workshops we offer year round, which are taught by ETAP certified instructors.
