Inconvénients

I don't need many functions and I can't block the timesheets, I risk that the employees change the hours after I have done the reports.
Paymo is not integrated with asana, we use Asana for task management and instagantt for gantt, and we have to copy task from asana to paymo.

Avantages

The interface is simple enough to be able to track time appropriately, and while it may take a little bit of time to get used to it, it feels intuitive enough. Creating and assigning tasks is also quite easy to do, and the possibility of different visualization formats enhances the overall experience, for example, some people on the team felt more comfortable with Gantt, others with the calendar, and it works in a way everyone can easily understand.

Inconvénients

I've been using it a few months, and have already experienced a couple times when the app was down, which has a big impact in the company, since our work is hourly-billed. These issues resolved quickly, but it has happened more regularly than I would like. Another thing is that the integration with Slack is a bit shallow, only notifying about tasks but not detailing and not allowing the user to manipulate Paymo from Slack.

Quick and easy to use for time logging. Specifically the ability to start and stop a timer is helpful because at the end of a day I can't remember how long I spent on what work...

Nothing actually. I more dislike the way the company is using it since we are required to write essays describing what we did for every time entry

I love the project planning feature. Very easy to use, it has everything I need to set up projects, estimate the hours of every task and track the actual hours of completion. The reporting feature is also excellent and can be adjusted to my needs. The desktop and mobile apps are also quite useful.

Inconvénients

I can't really find anything I didn't like about Paymo.

So far it is a lot easier to use and less convoluted, I need to do some online training and would love to get my hands on training material so we can give it to our staff.

As a freelancer with many clients, projects, and tasks to manage this is the perfect solution. Easy to use, easy to implement, easy to customize for robust functionality despite single-person use. I've recommended it a lot and folks are always happy.

I actually liked the older interface better, because it was simpler and more colorful, but understand that improved functionality required a change.

We pretty much always used time tracking only and for this purpose Paymo has become way too expensive. For project management Paymo is probably great, but we are using time tracking only.

The usability of this app is amazing! Everything is easy to find and use, making my life so much simpler! Navigation is smooth and features are intuitive. Definitely a first-class user experience!

While I appreciate many aspects of the app, one thing that's frustrating is the inability to display tasks as clearly as on the timesheet. It's challenging to track progress without this feature, and it's something I hope they'll improve in future updates.

Its UI is very intuitive and the overall logic behind project views is very useful. It has a reasonable learning curve, you can learn each feature one by one when you start using it. It is also easy to explain to others.

If you have a lot of projects, it becomes chaotic and the overview is lost. I would like customisable tags for projects.

I like the templates for invoicing and that you can have custom rates based on the customer (client) you setup.

Their tools for invoicing and their desktop app allows for time tracking with ease, the billing and invoice tools are great, project management is great, and the ability to create digital live time reports is a great feature.

The mobile app does not have enough features from the web-version, I especially miss being able to invoice unbilled time for my projects, without having to go to the website. The Invoice tools are great too, but having to use HTML to update very simple design decisions is not very intuitive, such as changing the distance between sections and changing some of the colors.

I need to organize everything in my life. As a team of one, I need to project manage myself and ensure I'm using the company's time effectively. Paymo lets me audit myself. I'm in the timesheet dashboard most of the time: it's awesome! The templates are really handy too.

Inconvénients

There are times when the app is down for hours throughout the day. I started tracking my time elsewhere (like clunky Excel). Since there's no update from Paymo on whether they're back online or not, I have to constantly refresh the window and see for myself.
Maybe this is a me thing, but I would love not to track seconds in my entries. My OCD can't stand seeing "1 hr 5 min 4 sec" lol.

La cosa che mi piace di più di paymo è il fatto che con facilità posso tracciare il mio tempo e vedere che task ho aperti giornalmente.

Non mi piace il fatto che se imposto come data un lasso di tempo, quel task non viene visto il giorno stesso, ma sempre " più avanti" e rischi cosi di dimenticartene. Inoltre anche i task in attesa esterna è come se venissero dimenticati come se fossero chiusi. Dovrebbe esserci un posto anche per quelli.

I like the fact that we can be several users sharing all of our info and upload documents. I like also that we can attribute a task to the person of our choice.

The thing that is tough for our projects organizations is to be able to have one calendar with general projects, for now the only calendar is attribute for tasks and not for a project. For an event for example, it’s not easy to use fully.
